Staff are always friendly, caring and efficient - they always look happy to be there. Aunt has been so well looked after to the point she will be leaving soon and going home! Well done everyone - you have been great x

I was particularly impressed by the fact that in the first few days the owner visited us and introduced himself and all the staff similarly introduced themselves.

He was bedridden and therefore unable to participate in the activities and unfortunately too deaf to hear the rousing musical afternoons, but he did enjoy the view from the window, the lovely food and especially the puddings.

In my opinion and experience, since my mother became a resident here in February 2017, we have always found the staff to be very friendly and attentive. The management team are accessible at all times and will address any issues immediately and effectively. Also, some of the team are available for nursing duties as well as administration. The home is set in beautiful grounds, beautifully decorated with stylish furnishings. Lovely home-cooked food and very clean, spacious surroundings, light and airy. A very calm welcoming home. Highly recommended.

Last time I visited she looked so well I cannot believe she is there for end of life care.

Really homely feel, all carers know the residents well and respond respectfully to their needs. Activities are excellent and stimulate residents on various levels. Nursing staff listen effectively and actively respond to needs/concerns of family whether actual or perceived - really well run - communications are efficient administrators are really professional.

The nursing home itself has a 'homely' air rather than institutional. Whatever time of day I visit there is always someone to talk to, to see how my mother has been in herself.

I am very happy that mum is treated well and cared for to a very high standard would not hesitate to recommend.

Grosvenor House has a lovely feel, the staff are all caring and provide consistently good quality care to all residents. I have observed them dealing with awkward residents with patience and good humour. The food is exceptionally good and a choice is always given. I cannot think of anywhere in the country better.

My mother has been here for a few years and I have to say she could not be in a better place. The staff who work here are very friendly, kind and very professional in every way. They look after my mums needs very well, the food is 1st class and the care is superb.

The care home was happy to take my husband at fairly short notice, knowing that he needed "end of life care". He was not able to participate in group activities but all staff were understanding and caring and engaged him in conversation at very frequent intervals. The attitude of staff was attentive and helpful, certain staff particularly so. He could not eat much so a lot of effort went with tempting him with food he might like and going out of their way to get things for him. He was made as comfortable as possible but his condition meant it was difficult to him.

Very pleasant atmosphere, always made to feel welcome. Staff and management extremely helpful and approachable. We as a family are very happy with the care and attention our uncle receives. He has settled in very well.

The staff are always courteous and look after my father like he is one of the family, always with dignity and kindness the home is always spotless. They cater for all of my father's needs even when he can be awkward and he loves the food. Putting my father in a home was one of the most difficult decisions, as a family, have ever had to make and we are so pleased we chose this home as we know he is well, happy and completely cared for. It is a weight from our shoulders- thank you.

My sister is very happy in Grosvenor House and is well looked after by the very caring staff. As older brother the care given to my sister does take a lot of worry from myself.

At a very challenging time having mum put into care, the staff have made it a very good experience for mum and the whole family. Mums general wellbeing has improved immensely since being cared for by all the staff at Grosvenor House. We as a family have always been made very welcome at any time and are always available to talk to. We could not wish for mum to be in a better place.

My mother moved to Grosvenor House mid December 2015. Sadly she has recently passed away but the few weeks she lived at Grosvenor House she was happy and treated with love, respect and dignity. The staff cared and loved her until the end and ensured she was comfortable in her last hours. Thank you to everyone we couldn't have asked for more.

Finding a suitable home is difficult and partly luck. First impressions of Grosvenor was of a well run and maintained facility. All the staff wore smart uniforms and there was a general atmosphere of contentment. I was met by a lady who immediately established a welcome feeling of rapport. I was left alone in the lounge where I spoke to several residents having an art lesson. They were all most complimentary about their care and all gave me the impression of being well stimulated. The nursing care, what I have seen has been of an exemplary standard. Absolutely nothing is too much trouble for visitors and residents alike. Every person is treated individually. I feel so lucky that my relative can finish her days in such a wonderful atmosphere.

I have found the home to be very well run. The staff are very professional and friendly. My family and I are always made to feel welcome no matter what time we arrive. The staff work really hard to try and treat residents as individuals with their own needs. Well done.

My mothers been in Grosvenor House since my father died 18 months ago. I find the care and support given to my mother is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble and myself and husband are always made to feel very welcome. We can also visit at any time which I find very good. The activities provided are very good and they try to get my mother involved. Food always looks very nice.
