I feel that I have really good connections with the staff at Kensington and I appreciate all that they do for my mum and her fellow residents. The manager is excellent in the unit and wants what is best for her residents. The staff have a good understanding of what is necessary for the residents care and to ensure their well being. The care leaders are very experienced and altogether there is a good team who work together, and support one another in a job that isn't easy and doesn't receive the recognition and respect it deserves. Thank you all you!
Thank you for your kind words and thoughtful feedback. We're grateful for your appreciation and delighted to hear that you feel a strong connection with our team at Kensington. Our staff are dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality care, and it means a lot that this is reflected in your experience with us. Your support and recognition mean a lot to all of us. Thank you again.
The staff at Moundsley are absolutely amazing. So caring and loving. The carers, nurses and all admin staff have been so attentive and loving to my aunt. I visited daily for 6 weeks and the place was always clean, the staff and residents always smiling and happy. Highly recommended this home for anyone's family.
Thank you for your kind words. We're pleased to hear that your experience with us was so positive. Our team takes great pride in creating a caring, supportive and welcoming environment for both residents and their families. It means a great deal to know that our efforts made a difference to your...
Mom was given all the nursing care that she needed towards the end of her life and saved the trauma of being transferred to hospital. We were very happy with all the communication about the care during that difficult period even being contacted by off-duty staff to pass on their condolences.
Overall very happy with the care mom received at Moundsley Hall.
Thank you for your kind words and for sharing your experience. We're pleased to hear that you felt well informed and supported during your Mother's time with us. We appreciate your feedback on resident interaction and will continue to strive for the best possible care. It means a lot to us to know...
Although my brother was with you for just 3 weeks, his care was the best I could wish for.
Thank you for your review. We hope we made your brother's stay as peaceful as possible. Your comments will be passed on to the team who will be delighted to hear your feedback.
Our dear mom was transferred from a care home to Moundsley Hall. The manager visited Mom at her care home to assess her needs which was fantastic. We then dealt with the admissions person who went above and beyond in accepting our mom into their home. From the day we transferred Mom every aspect of her care was five-star, the home is impeccably clean and well-appointed, five stars I would say, and I would recommend this home to anyone needing expert nursing care.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We're pleased to hear that your Mum's transition to Moundsley Hall was smooth and has met your expectations, our team takes great pride in providing exceptional care and a welcoming environment for all our Residents. Your recommendation is greatly appreciated!
The staff and leadership are kind, committed, and thoughtful. The atmosphere of the home is positive, the relationships are warm and the standard of food and accommodation are great. The care and nursing teams gave our family lots of attention and support as my Father's dementia and health declined.
We could not recommend the home more, and we will miss seeing the wonderful team on our visits.
Thank you so much for your heartfelt review. We are truly grateful for your kind words. Our team strives to create a warm and supportive environment for both residents and their families, and it's wonderful to know that this made a positive impact during your father's stay. We are glad that the...
The staff are friendly and generally helpful. The facilities are good and the rooms are kept clean and tidy.
Thank you for taking the time to review our care village. We appreciate the feedback and positive reflection of our hard-working team.
The regular staff all know him, speak to him and understand his needs. Occasionally we get a hiccup when there are a lot of agency staff on shift who do not know him or odd jobs like changing room lightbulbs can take a few asks.
Overall I am pleased with his case and feel content that he is happy, safe and well cared for.
The team here work hard so a big thank you from me and the family.
Thank you for your positive feedback regarding the care and support for your father who is in Buckingham House, and also for the team's hard work. We are pleased that your father is enjoying the varied and meaningful activity programme delivered in Buckingham House and that he has enjoyed his...
In my first 3 and a half years Mom was here the service has been lovely with very caring staff. However communication has always been an issue. During the last year the residential dynamics have changed and the use of a lot of agency staff there did not seem to be the level of caring we were used to previously. Communication needs sorting, the home could text/email families regarding closures. Also emails to the manager have gone unanswered. Very disappointed that no one asked where Mom was during her 5 week stay at hospital before she passed away!
Thank you for taking the time to review Moundsley House, firstly our deepest sympathy for the loss of your Mother. Thank you for your comments regarding the care received by Mom, it is always nice to see positive comments about our hard-working team. Our staff retention across the village is good...
I am the wife of a resident since April 2024. He has settled in well now with the help of his twin sister who is a resident also. He has received wonderful care from all the daytime staff but I am unsure of the night staff. My only concern is the fact that the system regarding care of laundry has a lot to be desired. To date, my husband has lost a coat, 3 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of trousers and a cap. Often he is in someone else's clothes. I think there should be a member of management there at all times.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the review for Moundsley House, we value your feedback and suggestions to further enhance our service here at Moundsley Care Village. We are delighted your husband has settled in Moundsley House and is enjoying spending time with his twin sister who also...

My mom was treated with dignity and respect.

Meet the Team (4)

Hello, my name is Helen. I have been working as the Wellbeing Co-ordinator at Moundsley Hall for the last three years. Being an activities coordinator isn’t just about organising schedules—it’s about creating moments of joy, connection, and dignity for people, and doing that well takes genuine care and empathy.
I really enjoy my role and feel passionate about caring for people.

Hi, my name is Amy, and I started my Receptionist role here in 2019. For the past 6 years, I have enjoyed working alongside a lovely team, supporting team members and greeting residents and family members. I prioritise organisation, attention to detail and ensuring that visitors feel welcomed and valued when they walk through the door. I believe that a little kindness can go a long way, and I am here to help you where I can.

My name is Carmen Coyne, my job role is Head Housekeeper, and I have worked for Moundsley Hall Care Village for nearly nineteen years. It has become my second home. We are more like a big family.

Demi joined the team in 2018 and quickly became a popular member of staff. Demi moved from care to the Activity team after displaying a keen interest in wanting to enhance the day-to-day quality of life for our residents.
Demi is an exceptional member of the team who works tirelessly to ensure our residents have the best day possible. Person centring all activities, often having several activities going at the same time ensuring the maximum amount of participants can enjoy the day. Demi does not forget those who are unable to join the communal areas, she will take the activity to them! Demi is well organised and plans ahead for all relevant celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, and easter, all are made special because of the hard work and compassion Demi has applied to her role. Her ability to connect with the residents is a special skill and her dedication to delivering fun, laughter, memories and much more is something to be proud of.
Some comments from seniors and colleagues:“Demi is hard working, compassionate and no matter how busy her day is, she always has a smile on her face”
“Demi is a lovely person, kind and caring”
“In my years of experience working within this industry, Demi is one of the best activity co-ordinators I have seen”
“We are proud to have Demi on our team and look forward to celebrating more milestones and achievements with her in the future. Well done Demi!”
