Overall Experience
My wife has been a resident for 18 months.
I find the home always welcoming to me.
My wife is disabled and not able to walk or stand.
She is well cared for, clean and tidily dressed.
She now suffers some dementia, the staff seem to be able to cope with this on odd days when she is somewhat difficult.

I am grateful that she accepts the home well, even though she did live a very active life.

A warm, friendly and calm atmosphere awaits you at Westley Court. EVERY staff member is extremely professional, approachable and particularly ‘Person Centred'. Staff readily give detailed daily updates on my father’s progress. His considerable health and care needs are wholly met in a dignified and compassionate way, befitting my father as a proud man. On an emergency admission to hospital, the Nurses’ professionalism and empathy to both my father and us went above and beyond duty. Additionally, the Emergency Department congratulated Westley Court on the thorough and detailed notes which accompanied him to the hospital. The ‘Open Door’ policy of the Manager is exactly that. You are encouraged to ask questions, give your own updates or just offload. There is a clear line of communication which is seamlessly imparted to the whole team. Our father has a good rapport with staff, is content and at ease; as a family, we do not feel sad when we leave as we know he is safe and well cared for.

My father in law moved into this nursing home on 13/11/18. He has been in other Nursing Homes but none of them compares to this one. The staff have been great to deal with and nothing is too much trouble. The accommodation feels like home, it is comfortable and relaxed. I would recommend this nursing home to anyone looking for something a little bit nicer than the norm.

This was our second nursing home within the Wyre forest area, the first falling well short of any standards. I have both my parents at this care home and pretty much from day one everything has run smoothly from Care to Administration. The home is very flexible and has accommodated pretty much all our needs. My parents seem as happy as they can be as a nursing home was not their aim in life. The food is good and plentiful. There are facilities for guests to prepare snacks and drinks when they are visiting.

Overall Experience

Westley Court Nursing Home came to the rescue when our family had a crisis and desperately needed help! The welcoming and friendly staff made the experience as smooth and easy as it could be, for the whole family.

How comforting to find that at Westley Court there is a stable core group of staff who really take the time to get to know the residents and their families. Smiles and friendly greetings are the norm, and the caring and professional attitude makes all the difference! Being able to get accurate health updates from staff who are there on a consistent basis was very reassuring and made a stressful time easier to deal with for us all.

The home is set in an area of beautiful countryside, with places to stroll around, as well as chairs for sitting outside to enjoy the sunshine and the pretty surroundings.

We are so grateful to have found a dedicated team of professionals offering a high standard of friendly care in a serene and comfortable environment.

Overall Experience

Westley Court provided a much-needed lifeline to us when we needed it most. With very little notice, we were offered the standard of care that was critically needed and as well as individual attention and professionalism. It's rare to find somewhere that offers the right atmosphere and a dedicated team of people who take their time to get to know the patients and their family which can make a difference in challenging times. Continuity in times of need becomes crucial and we found it helpful to see familiar faces and be able to communicate with a core team of carers on an ongoing basis. As a family, we were able to leave each evening knowing that appropriate care was provided leaving us with peace of mind in difficult circumstances and get some much-needed rest ourselves. The situation is perfect - lovely countryside surroundings which was uplifting and offered respite when times demanded it! All in all, a complete package offering good quality, friendly and attentive nursing care.

Overall Experience
My father was in Westley Court care for almost 3 years and in that time, he was treated with the utmost care, love, support and dignity and us, as a family, were always made to feel we always had peace of mind, knowing he was being looked after, by such a wonderful time of brilliant staff, manager, nurses, carers and all other members of the team too many to mention, but never to be forgotten.

Unfortunately, my father passed away in February 2017.

We are now in a position were my father-in-law needed to go in to care and Westley Court came to our rescue, once again, without any hesitation and made the procedure very easy for us.

In the 2 months he has been at Westley Court, he has received more attention and fantastic care by all the staff than he ever did in the 2 months he spent at the hospital, in Shropshire.

We as a family, have now had 2 family members cared for at Westley Court and have never once ever felt the need to complain.

We thoroughly recommend Westley Court

It was a very difficult decision, having to find a suitable care home for our father for his end of life care, but we felt that we made the right decision choosing Westley Court. The staff were very friendly and kind and attentive and our father always looked clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, Dad was only there for just over 2 weeks in the end but at least he passed away peacefully and painlessly.

I can only say that Westley Court is an excellent nursing home and I am so lucky that my husband is being cared for there.
The staff are wonderful, kind, caring and very thorough.
They go the extra mile for their patients and the nursing home itself has a lovely atmosphere, is beautifully decorated and the rooms are light, stylish and very comfortable.

I would only say that in my estimate this is certainly a five-star establishment.

A care home isn't your true home, however Westley Court has become a close second to my husband. The staff are friendly and compassionate but always remaining professional at all times. There is a caring atmosphere from the receptionists, cleaners, carers, nurses and management. Over what has been a huge change in our families life they have given support.
