Nice care home, helpful and attentive staff, good food, very clean and tidy and secure.
Nothing seems too much bother.
It’s like a five-star hotel with plenty of activities for the able-bodied.
Very supportive to my wife while attending to her mother.
The grounds are very attractive and I can see them being used a lot in the summer.

I would be happy to come here myself when the time comes.

Conditions at the home are very good, but, considering the price tag, a shortage of staff, has gone downhill drastically since it was taken over.

Shouldn't have to wait 30 plus minutes to help with going to the toilet etc.

We need emergency daycare for my father-in-law, who lives with dementia, due to my mother-in-law being admitted to the hospital. The manager was more than willing to help us in our time of need. My father-in-law was warmly welcomed by all the staff by name. He said he felt very safe all the time, the food was outstanding and enjoyed the activities on offer. He was very concerned about his wife being hospitalised, but the staff were always there to reassure him that she was getting better and he would see her later. This was a great comfort for my mother-in-law and the whole family, knowing he was being cared for by very caring staff.

All the staff are lovely and helpful. A special mention to two staff members on reception who made a real difference to my dad’s birthday. Keep up the great work everyone.

Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year, and enjoy your days off because working in a care home is extremely challenging.

My father has received warm and loving care from the kind staff at Isle Court Nursing Home. The reception staff are always welcoming and helpful, also booking in additional services such as nail and hairdressing when requested. The care team in the unit are kind and helpful and personable to residents. Residents appear to be well fed and cleanly dressed when visited.

What an amazing place for my father-in-law to be, Isle Court is such a bright and happy environment. After a hospital stay and coming here for initial respite to now permanent placement, as a family we were worried about how things would work out, never having been in this position before of having to deal with the nursing home environment. We are just amazed by the wonderful care and compassion given to him, right through from the manager to the handyman, to mention only a few of the wonderful staff here. Everyone is just so lovely. And genuinely care about him just like a family member.
Nothing is too much for them, every single detail is taken to ensure he is happy here.
The food is top-class, homemade, nourishing, and delicious. My father-in-law even enjoys his weekly tipple of a glass of red wine with his Sunday meal.

Set in the most beautiful setting with pretty tranquil gardens with stunning views. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

From the moment my dad arrived at Isle Court Nursing Home, I knew I was placing him into the caring, loving and professional hands of the staff in a clean, comfortable environment. My dad was in the nursing care of the home for just over two years and in that time, I observed the compassion, patience and personal care Dad, 'Daddy', received.

We visited regularly and we, ourselves, were treated just like Dad, as part of a large 'loving' family. As 'Daddy' was approaching end of life, we sat with him and members of staff sat with us also, sharing in their sadness too. I would like to add, with sincere thanks to the catering staff for providing such excellent nutritious food according to my daddy's requirements.

Isle Court is not what I expected a care home to be like. It's like walking into a top-class hotel.

It makes me more comfortable leaving a family member there.

Today at 11.30 my friend was still in her night clothes and (natural) teeth uncleaned. No cup from which to drink. The bedside table was sticky and with remains of dead flower heads. A roller deodorant has been behind her bedside drawers for 3 weeks.
I spent two hours with my friend who is bedridden and unable to move herself. At no time did any member of staff call in to establish if she had any needs. My friend has no means of calling staff, no pendant or alarm button.
Whilst there lunch was served and the care assistant asked if I “could help us out by feeding your friend?”

I was so concerned that I spoke to the receptionist and gave her a list of issues, with the agreement of my friend. I made a complaint last week, again with the full agreement of my friend concerning kindliness and dignity in management of her personal care. No feedback or response and no changes observed. No confidence that this week will be different.

My mother was admitted to Isle Court Nursing Home for palliative care in early June, she died there on 21st August. Throughout her stay, the staff there were of the highest grade, were terrifically supportive and perhaps, most importantly, warmly empathetic with her individual needs throughout. There were occasional delays when other crises were occurring and I do not recall her meeting the manager. Thank you!

My dad had to go into a nursing home at the beginning of June 2023. When we visited Isle Court, we were bowled over. The approach gives you the impression of a classy country hotel, and the impressions carry on to the inside. My dad was a lifelong birdwatcher, so the location in the Shropshire countryside was perfect for him.
The staff are all so friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. All of the meals are cooked on-site from scratch, and they make their own cakes and biscuits. The smells coming from the kitchen are amazing. We had lunch with Dad several times, and the food was great, particularly high tea on Wednesday afternoons.

Dad had settled in after three months and made new friends. Sadly, he succumbed to heart failure and died two weeks ago. This wasn't unexpected, but had come sooner than we thought. The support from everyone at Isle Court was invaluable. I can't think of a nicer place for Dad to have spent his last few months.

The home is lovely, the staff are amazing, caring, helpful and kind but sometimes it can be hard to get their attention as they are so busy. There does not seem to be enough staff-to-patient ratio. The residents need time and care which is very difficult if the staff are rushing from one patient to another. The reception staff are great. Very welcoming, lots of information and advice. They need to be stopped from being pulled in so many directions at once.

Since my wife entered this nursing home, she has received extremely good care, is well looked after and has started to improve physically at least. She feels safe and is happy to be somewhere that looks after her so well. She has dementia, and all the staff in the home are most welcoming and caring. It would be unfair to single out any one group or section of people as they all care about the service they give. Personally, I would pay them all more money to retain their services within the care sector. I used to be worried about her, but I am now feeling more confident. Thank you all at Isle Court Nursing Home.

My mother was a resident at Isle Court for 13 months. We were most impressed with the garden, general decor and the size of the rooms. There is a range of daily activities for the residents and a choice of menu offering healthy, tastefully prepared meals. We found all the staff to be friendly, caring and professional. They were particularly supportive during my mother's last days. We are so grateful that she was able to spend her last happy year at Isle Court.

We visited a friend and to say we were impressed is an understatement.
The welcome at reception was warm to us and we were taken to the room of our friend. It was nicely presented and the care he was receiving was excellent. I would rate it as like a top-class hotel.
When we walked with him to a lounge we were offered a cup of tea and even a piece of cake.
He told us of activities which were offered.
Since then we have visited another person in another care home but unfortunately, the visit was far less than the standard at Isle Court.

If I ever need a care home then it will be Isle Court for certain.

Mom was at Isle Court Nursing Home for six and a half months and was very well cared for. Unfortunately, the weekly fees of £1,650 were too much and we had to move her to a less expensive care home.

The care my mum received in her remaining few months was exceptional. I was able to return to being a daughter as opposed to a carer. All the staff were wonderful and so caring to Mum and us, the family. I am so glad we chose Isle Court Nursing Home.
