I have found the staff very caring and competent, they tend to all my mother's needs and always have a smile on their face. The home is clean, warm and never smells like some homes I have visited.

I am the nephew of a resident of this home. The care provided by the home is excellent and the staff treat her with dignity and respect. Not only does this apply to her but to her daughter and long term partner who visit on a daily basis. I would not hesitate to recommend the home to other families.

Overall, from observations and through regular contact with a family member, who is a service user, it is evident that staff deliver a good quality of care to residents as they are attentive, established rapport, meet all the basic needs and practice from a personalised approach. However the building is not fit for purpose but the staff manage to overcome this exceptionally and it is kept clean and tidy to a good standard. Therefore, I would recommend Roden Hall Care Home with Nursing, but the location is difficult to get to for those such as visitors that do not drive.

He is always clean and tidy, his room being large and comfortable, overlooking the garden (which is his most favourite occupation!!) I visit weekly and at differing times of the day and have always found his care to be satisfactory.
