Spent a lovely father's day with my Dad. He seems very happy and well cared for. The staff are lovely. He is very fond of them. They printed and laminated some photos of my dad and family, photos that I had sent in. He enjoyed looking through them.

one to one care 24/7.
Never have I met such devoted staff to residents. The smiling faces under such pressure of work is amazing. They are so dedicated. I feel happy that my husband is getting the best of care there.
I visit 5 days a week at various times ( morning ,afternoon and night) and stay
minimum of 2 hours a day, either in his room or downstairs where other residents are. The carers are devoted to make each day a good day for the residents.
The nursing staff always have time for you if you feel the need to catch up on any health related info and are always helpful and kind.
The manager is always approachable and has made immense effort to update the building and everything that comes under her job role. The entertainment and special themed days gives the residents something to look forward to each day. I see lots of game playing and mental entertainment for all abilities.
The food is very good, and varied with plenty of it. I would not want my husband to be anywhere else.

My mum has been at Burton Court for over three years. The staff have always been excellent. They are extremely caring and between them, they have a lot of experience, particularly with tricky situations and challenging behaviours.
There have been a fair few changes in management over the time Mum
has been a resident but things have always been improving. The food always seems to be great, the lunches are always varied and include plenty of vegetables. A new chef started recently and now that Mum is on 'easy to eat' food, it's nice to know that the chef cares about what's on the plate and how it looks.

The nursing home is big with enough parking, even if at times have to park on another site. Easy to access. All staff are very kind and friendly. The home looks clean. Staff go above and beyond and offer my mum and me refreshments at times which is very kind. All staff speak to my aunt and ask how she
is. Only thing I would say, it is such a shame the bedrooms aren't bigger - my aunt's is small. The rooms need to be ensuite too, which would make the residents feel much nicer, as if they were in their own home. Especially residents like my aunt who can look after own personal care themselves.

Since moving into Trent Court, we have been very happy with the care my dad has received. He is always washed and clean-shaven when we visit and I can always find out how he has eaten or how he is sleeping. I am also kept fairly well-informed on any changes or problems concerning my dad. He is treated
with care and respect. One thing that seems missing is a lack of entertainment for the residents, in-home or from external providers.

Current Review Score: 7.9 (7.898)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 7.9 (7.898) out of 10 for Bridge, Burton and Trent Courts - Towerview Care is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.8 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.104 for Bridge, Burton and Trent Courts - Towerview Care is calculated as follows: ( (27 Excellents x 5) + (22 Goods x 4) + (16 Satisfactorys x 3) + (2 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 67 Ratings = 4.104

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

The 3.794 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Bridge, Burton and Trent Courts - Towerview Care is based on 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    • i) 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.5

    • ii) 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 85 registered maximum number of service users is 17. 5 Positive Reviews ÷ 17 = 0.294

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
