In the 7 week period of my mothers final days she was treated with dignity, respect and excellent care. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to all your staff.

A little early to do a review as my mother has only been a resident for two days. The only comment I have to make is I am not totally confident on how they deal with a person who cannot see and is not used to always being seated in the lounge particularly as she is 97 years old.

From initial contact onwards all the staff treated dad (the resident) and all his family with the utmost dignity. Without exception the staff were excellent in their caring, friendliness, empathy yet professional manner. Their pleasant and openness approach was very much welcomed, as was their excellent communication to us all at a very difficult time. The information and updates were relevant, timely, practical but always with the comfort of the resident at the heart of all that they achieved. We would recommend Himley Mill as an outstanding care home!

My mothers stay at Himley Mill was brief (17 days) but the facility and care provided by staff were both excellent. The room was clean and comfortable and setting is very peaceful. The care regime was well documented and staff were always happy to provide us with updates. A number of them took a keen interest in her. When she passed away the nurse on duty made all the phone calls to the doctor and funeral director- a great help. Sadly she was never well enough to take part in the social activities but it is clear that staff go out of their way to make stays as pleasant as possible. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursing home.

What an amazing home and excellent service that this home has. Outstanding value, excellent care, outstanding staff, care 100%, the staff are amazing. My mum was at Woodlands, the staff were just great, very caring, not just to the patient but to the family. That goes a long way, as some homes have bad names. The home was very clean and the patients are treated with a lot of dignity. Food was lovely, served up very nicely, facilities are excellent, rooms and the management are very good, always help you.
