From the moment my family had contact with Himley Mill a weight was lifted from my mind it was obvious that my care was their primary objective. I have so far received excellent service.

I can't thank the staff enough, from my dad's personal care, the cleaners and activities. All have been of a high standard and also when we have visited we have always been made so welcome and looked after. My dad has passed away now but during his stay he has been looked after very well. He was in Willows/Himley Mill and I can't rate it high enough and I would recommend Himley Mill highly.

She has been a different lady since moving into Himley Mill and as a family, we could not ask for any more. We hope that she is able to spend many more happy years at Himley Mill. We can't praise the staff enough. A big thank you.

My father has only been here for 12 days but so far I am pleased with the care. The staff try their best to keep him comfortable and to encourage him to eat.

My husband was admitted to Himley Mill Care Home on 26th June 2023. Sadly he died on the 28th but in those three days, he was happy and was treated with love and respect. A great comfort to me. I too was treated very well.

Whenever I visit him, his room is always clean and tidy and welcoming. His personal hygiene is good and clothing very acceptable. All in all, we made the right choice in making Himley Mill a care home for my husband. A very hard decision to make after lots of married life together but definitely the right one.
From day one to the current date, I have been very pleased with all the staff/management. They have been very attentive to Dad and seem to genuinely care for the residents. Very pleased overall.

When my mother came to Himley Mill Care Home, she was very happy this is no longer the case. You have lost a lot of good caring staff for whatever reason. Your biggest asset was your staff, this is no longer the case. There is a shortage of staff and vital equipment i.e. pads for incontinence/pads for night. My mother was left with inadequate protection which in my view is neglect. The management does not seem to be aware of the problems. Also, the food is inedible - so tough cannot be chewed or even cut.

They took the time to get to know her and how she lived and always ensured that things were exactly as she wanted them.
My mom had her favourite staff members as happens but they all treated her as well I could do and that is something I can never thank them for.
Overall my experience is excellent.
I can't thank the staff and management enough for the care and compassion they have shown my aunt.
