One is always greeted with a smile. All staff are very helpful indeed with politeness. They are always on hand to answer any questions regarding our loved ones. The corridors are decked with pictures old and new of residents and colourful flowers along the way. It is certainly the care it is called Trentham Home!
We are delighted to hear that you feel welcomed when you visit and that our team have been helpful, polite, and available to answer any questions about...
Mum is very comfortable and happy at Trentham House. She enjoys the interaction with various staff members and other residents. Her health is carefully monitored and timely action taken when necessary. She spends much of her day sleeping but this indicates she feels secure and safe. She has embraced the experience of having to do nothing for herself and no longer feels the day to day pressures of life. Trentham House has been a great choice for mums elderly care needs.
It's wonderful to know she enjoys the interaction with staff and residents, and that you feel reassured by how closely her health is monitored. Your feedback means a great deal to our whole team.
My uncle was resident for 18 months. The care he recieved from the frontline team was fantastic - 100%. Some lovely people who really do 'care' work hard in difficult circumstances for long shifts and deserve every plaudit. What disappointed me was that when my uncle died - having spent close to £100k on fees - the family didn't even get a condolence card from the owners/senior managers. Nothing. And when we went to empty his room a couple of days after he passed, a cleaner had already been instructed to get the room cleared. It was poor and it was cold. The walls are plastered with positive messages, uplifting quotes and feelgood memes that sell you on the idea that your relative is part of a family at this care home - and you too. But that kind of stuff starts to look like window dressing when your actions at crucial moments fall so far short of the standards you purport to set. The frontline staff were fanatstic, sadly let down by their superiors.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are pleased to hear your kind words about our frontline care team - they work hard every day to provide compassionate support, and I will ensure your thanks are shared.
I am very sorry for your experience following your uncle's death. You rightly expected...
My mum first came to Trentham House care home, from hospital, and she was really poorly. Through the high care standards, compassion and love, shown by the staff, my mum has thrived and is really comfortable. We cannot thank the wonderful staff enough for all the wonderful care they have given Mum while she has lived in the home. As a family, we are so happy to see mum settled. She is always well presented. The food and cleanliness is top notch. All the staff I have encountered during my visits are welcoming and sincere. Thank you.
We are truly pleased to hear that your mum has settled so well at Trentham House and that she is now comfortable and thriving. Your comments about the compassion, high standards of care, presentation, food, and...
Frank my friend came to Trentham House he was very nervous for such a big change in his life. Unfortunately he was only at the home for 8 wks but during this time he went back to hospital twice then eventually he went back for his final 10 days. He sadly passed away 10th Nov. I wanted Frank back at the home for his final days as I knew he was so well cared for and in a lovely environment surrounded by lovely caring staff. His last hours his caring was with such dignity and thoughts for myself and family. I looked after Frank shopping organising carers etc for 13 yrs and I wanted a home that could look after him the way I did and thats what Trentham House did for Frank and myself. Thank you all so much.

From our short experience, Trentham House was amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for them, someone is always available to speak to. It didn't smell like a 'home', the atmosphere was always positive. I would above, highly recommend it. I can't give an opinion on the food or activities due to the condition of our relative.

The care home was excellent while my mother-in-law was there having palliative care. The staff were excellent, especially when she sadly passed away. They treated her with dignity and showed sympathy and empathy with all of us. They also offered future visits for coffee and a chat if we needed it. Overall experience of the care home was excellent.

Every member of staff we met at Trentham House was friendly, caring and super efficient in their duties. The care and support given to my mother-in-law from day one of her palliative care journey was amazing. All areas were spotlessly clean and tidy and there was always something going on in the lounge area for residents to enjoy. The end of any person's life is always very sad and difficult for them and their loved ones, but we were all given excellent care and support throughout and treated with kindness, compassion and dignity. Our family cannot thank you all enough for everything you did for us at this most difficult time.

The level of kindness, care and professionalism is outstanding. We could not ask for more. Both of my parents in law are cared for with compassion and encouragement.
