I cannot praise the staff of "Linden Lodge" highly enough for their care, kindness and understanding of my cousin. Who came into their care at the beginning of May 26. After a four month stay in hospital. Her last few weeks have been spent in a beautiful room with friendly people around her and enjoying the home-cooked food. I have had a nice warm greeting from Reception at every visit. Especially I would like to thank Sister Russel and her team for the support given to me through this difficult period. Both my family and myself will be eternally grateful.

When I first approached the home they were kind and caring. They welcomed me into the home, nothing hidden. Mums transition into care was smooth and handled with dignity and reassuringly. Mum is now settled and happy. All the staff love her and take very good care of her. She loves them all in return. The staff always make time to talk to me. Nothing is ever too much trouble. My experience with this home has been positive and I'm grateful to all concerned for making the while process easy.

My overall experience is very good. My mum has excellent care and support from the staff. This has given her the confidence to join n activities. She is always treated with dignity and respect by everyone, and I am always informed if medical intervention is required. Her room is comfortable, and everywhere is very clean and secure, and safety seems to be a priority. My mum is happy and safe there, and that makes me feel happy.

I would recommend this care home as nothing is ever too much trouble and they are very approachable at any time of day or night.

My mom (resident) has never complained or never not wanted to be there, so settled in from the first day. I feel confident in leaving her in this home, knowing she is cared for and I will be contacted if anything changes.

We sadly lost my Grandad in August of 2025 after being under the care of the wonderful staff at Linden lodge for almost 8 months.

Everyone was always warm and welcoming, especially on the last few days we had with him when I literally lived there for 3 days straight and they couldn't do more for me, made food and drinks for all of the family, checked on us and him but also gave us our privacy and respect which i appreciated so much.

Linden Lodge is an excellent care home, all of the staff are kind, patient and caring and treat the residents with compassion and understanding. They're always very welcoming and you can visit relatives at any time. The home is very clean, the food is lovely and there's always something going on for the residents to join in with if they want to.

My mum has Dementia and she came to Linden Lodge around 18 months ago after a few months in hospital following a very bad fall. She's done so well since moving to Linden, she couldn't even stand unaided but now she can walk without any assistance and this is all down to the time, patience and encouragement from the carers. I'm very grateful for everything they do, the residents are all very well cared for and I consider my mum to be lucky to live at this excellent care home.

Not for any specific month but constant peace of mind she is in the care homes hands is invaluable. I ve only had to chase things a couple of times in 6 years where my mom has had things wrong with her. For example a rash on her face when they know this is not her normal state and I ve wondered why it has been left so long or for us to ask it to be sorted. Other than that the staff are great and will always answer questions about concerns. Even willing to hold her phone for face time as she can no longer answer it herself. They do a job I could nt do and should be commended.
