My mother moved into Linden in July 2024 and we (as a family) are more than happy with the care and respect she has received since then.
When we viewed the home, we were struck by the friendliness of ALL the staff, from reception to cleaners and carers to nurses. We knew it was the right decision the moment we walked in.
They have supported mums needs with respect and dignity and we'll be forever grateful.
We were overjoyed to be able to arrange a birthday party for her in the family lounge, where they managed to get her out of bed to enjoy her celebrations. As she hadn't been out of bed since her admittance, we were thrilled to see her up and in a wheelchair and be able to make some lasting memories.
The added touch that the staff had bought her a card and gift. We are aware that this will be the norm, it didn't go unnoticed or unappreciated.

Many thanks

Our experience with nursing home care was a lovely experience. Linden Lodge staff went far and beyond for me and my husband to spend the last few days of his life together, staff very supportive, friendly and caring what a brilliant team. Management very supportive, very professional, making sure everything was in place i.e medications. I couldn't of wished for anything better.

My husband passed away last week at Linden Lodge Nursing Home of cancer at the age of 53. I can honestly say he/we were treated with love, care, kindness, dignity and compassion. I can't thank all the staffs enough. Whatever we asked for our needs, we were always met and staff went above and beyond to help us. At the age of 39, I never thought I'd be in the position of putting my husband in a care home but I can honestly say we made the right choice and knowing he was happy there really made this horrible situation so much easier. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Mum was a resident at Linden Lodge Care Home since November 2021 but sadly passed in January 2025 following her 90th birthday. Mum passed peacefully and with dignity. The staff went above and beyond to care for Mum and they were attentive and respectful to Mum's needs. I would also like to mention the reception team, maintenance team, domestics team and catering team who all showed their love and kindness for Mum during her residency and to her family. Thank you!

I have been bringing my neighbor to visit her dear brother for nearly two years now. We have always received a very friendly reception from all the staff who are also willing to help with our quires or refer us to another member of the team. The care shown to my friend is very good, the team go above and beyond to provide 24/7 all round care showing empathy and understanding of his needs whilst protecting his dignity. Her only contact, I nevertheless lived a long way away and was only able to visit infrequently. It was a great comfort to know she was so lovingly cared for, both personally and professionally. This was obvious from my visits when I was always offered kindness, understanding and hospitality. I am 82 and this meant a lot.

Having no prior experience in the care home sector, and following a difficult period in the hospital system, I can only praise Linden Lodge for the incredible service they provide.
My mum spent 11 months at Linden Lodge following a period in hospital with a broken hip. She had unfortunately been in decline with Alzheimer's Dementia for some years prior to the fall and unfortunately, the incident had a significant detrimental impact on her condition.
At the time of admission, the prognosis was bleak and we were advised the situation could decline quickly.
However, due to the excellent care from the team in the high-level support environment, she remained safe and looked after for a further 11 months, well beyond what we could have reasonably hoped for.

The staff in that area, particularly two staff members were invaluable throughout that time, and I can only praise them and offer heartfelt thanks for their incredible work.

My father had an 8-week stay in hospital before returning to Linden. The care that was shown during his stay (calls to us) and on his return (where the team had him back walking immediately) was exemplary.

I have previous experience with Linden Lodge Nursing Homes as my mother in law was resident at a sister home. We were very impressed with the care given to her so had no reservations when it became necessary for my husband to become a resident at this home. I have found all the staff very friendly and helpful especially when my husband first transitioned into residential care.

Mum has been a resident for 16 months now and I cannot fault the care she has received. All the staff are great and have such a lovely way with her. Even though she doesn't know where she is because of her dementia, she is happy and comfortable.

Linden Lodge is not just a care home, it's a true home for every resident, relative and employee. The moment you enter Linden Lodge it is clearly evident to see and feel the genuine welcome, caring attitudes and professional standards of all its employees. This transcends right through into the very hearts of each and every resident giving them a real sense of security, well-being, contentment and happiness. It's wonderful to see the consistently high standards of care given by each and every department and their pride is evident. For the relatives to see their loved ones at home in this location is wonderful but equally the welcome that we get makes us feel at home too. This is invaluable for everyone and humbling, thank you.

I have been dealing with Linden Lodge care home for the last 7 or so months and I have found all of the staff, whatever their role, to be very positive, kind and understanding. All the different departments have been efficient and I have been kept up to date with any issues regarding my father and his care. For example, I was recently made aware of a funding path that I had no knowledge of. This has been of great benefit to me.

I am very pleased that I chose Linden Lodge as the care home for my parents even though it is located a substantial distance from where I live.

From the moment I step into the care home, there's a welcome and smiling face to greet me. The visit to see Mom is a pleasure and finding her comfortable, clean and well cared for puts my mind at rest knowing she is in safe hands. From the cleaning team to the staff on her floor everyone is friendly and helpful. Every time I have had any questions or concerns the nurses are always on hand to reassure me.
I haven't put a rating for food and drinks as Mom is tube fed and being paralysed she isn't able to join in activities.

Thanks for keeping Mom safe.

I received good advice prior to choosing Lindon Lodge for my mum. We were shown a lovely room but unfortunately, she was transferred to an acute hospital and then back to a community hospital. 5 weeks later she finally came to Linden Lodge in a nicer room. The staff treated her kindly and made her last few days comfortable for her. Mum was funded on end-of-life care but I would have no hesitation in paying the costs if need be.

Since leaving the hospital in November, my very elderly aunt has been a resident requiring nursing care. The family visited other potential homes beforehand but were at once struck by the homeliness of the surroundings and the friendliness of everyone involved with the care of residents at Linden Lodge. It was an easy decision to make. Carers are most respectful of my aunt and we have never had one moment's concern in the six months since she has been resident. All staff are approachable and there is always someone to speak to. They quickly got to know my aunt as an individual and she is treated with the utmost dignity. As difficult as any transition from own home to a residential home will undoubtedly be, everyone there has gone out of their way to make this move as stress-free as it possibly could be.

To quote my aunt "Everyone here is very kind and I know that I am safe."
