Linden Lodge care home specialises in providing person-centred nursing and dementia care for the elderly.

The warm and welcoming home is set within 4 acres of landscaped gardens and orchards.

It is close to the village of Polesworth and within easy reach of the M42 and A5. Although the home is set in the rural countryside it is only 20 to 30 minutes drive from Sutton Coldfield, Solihull, Birmingham or Nuneaton.

The caring and motivated staff have many years of relevant experience and ensure that all residents are treated with dignity and respect at all times.

Since Mom has been at Linden Lodge, I have found all the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. I would like to say a big thank you to the deputy manager - nursing, she has been brilliant with the transition of Mom moving to Linden Lodge.

A special thanks for reception staff always greeted with a smile. Carers work really hard and act whenever necessary. Nurses call us when needs arise never had any issue which isn't sorted or referred within reasonable time frame.
Home is clean and smells fresh (obviously not 100% of the time - call
of nature stops for no one).
All in all really happy choosing this care home for our family member.

The care that my mother received was first-class. The staff, without exception, were very kind and caring. I was kept informed about Mum every time I visited.

Mum has lived here for over two years now, and I’ve seen how she’s being cared for. I have no issues with her care, and she seems happy, although she doesn’t really speak now.
I know she’s safe, and if there are any incidents, the staff ring me to tell me about it.

I had moved my husband from another care home and frequently wish I had done so much earlier. The care and professionalism shown by the staff were a breath of fresh air. I no longer worried about what was happening to him when I wasn't there, instead, I knew he was in safe hands, with people I could

Staff at Linden Lodge have always been polite, caring and respectful. They go above and beyond to care for their residents.
My mother went to live there in January 2015. Right from the start, I was impressed with their dedication. Matron was willing to visit Mom in a rehab hospital in Nottingham -
other places would have assessed her over the phone. The transfer was arranged for two days later. The night beforehand, I arrived with some things for her room - her nameplate was done showing an author's books - detail obtained during their assessment. It was a lovely touch.
After her stroke, Matron called to say she could go back there when ready.
During Covid, they looked after everyone so well.
I was called when Mom seemed unwell, and this meant I could visit what turned out to be the night before she died.
Staff were amazing upon her death and told me exactly what would happen, making the next steps easier to cope with at such a sad time.

Our mam was a resident at Linden Lodge for over four years, where she was loved and cared for. After Mom's unfortunate fall and subsequent stay in the hospital, it was apparent that she was approaching end of life, and she was returned to Linden Lodge. All of the staff could not have been any more kind
and helpful to our family during this period by going above and beyond with sympathy and practical assistance. Some members of our family, who lived two hundred miles away, and ourselves were provided with hot meals and drinks, and overnight facilities were provided for us. A sad occasion was softened by the love and care received.

My father was admitted into Linden Lodge and the staff were absolutely amazing.
They were brilliant with my father and catered for his every need and he still kept his dignity. They went over and above to keep myself and the family informed about everything concerning my father. We couldn't recommend
them more. They fully deserve all the credit they get.

A bright, clean nursing home in a lovely countryside setting. The staff are friendly and approachable, and there are always plenty of activities on offer for those who wish to participate. My mom has been living at Linden Lodge for over 3 years now. She has Alzheimer's and is no longer mobile. She is confined to bed most of the time but is relaxed and happy and will say to me how lovely all the staff are. She is on the Nursing floor and gets excellent 24-hour care.
There is a very
warm and friendly atmosphere at the home. It is kept very clean and tidy throughout. The food is plentiful, good quality and well-cooked. I am welcome to visit when I want, and to discuss with the staff, any concerns etc.
I witnessed the dedication during Covid and the extended "Lock down". There was close adherence to all the rules, to keep the residents safe and was glad that Mom was there.

It is such a difficult decision to move into care, but we really could not have found a better 'new home' for my mum. It is never going to be the same as 'at home', but all the staff take the trouble to get to know their residents and spend quality time with them. Everyone is always friendly and pleasant,
which gives a real sense of community. I would highly recommend Linden Lodge to anyone who needs peace of mind that your relative will be well cared for.

My dad has been at Linden Lodge since January 2021 which was during the covid days! So we couldn’t visit or even “check out the home!” However, the communication was excellent and we felt Dad was looked after. When we were able to visit the precautions were great and made us feel Dad was safe. The staff
have always made myself and my family feel welcome. They know Dad and talk about him with real affection. From the amazing cleaners to the great carers (two staff members especially) I can’t thank them enough for looking after Dad now that we are unable to.

You read a lot in the comments on here about 'being part of the Linden Lodge family' but that is so true and it has been home for my mum for a number of years now and the level of care provided is and always has been to an extremely high standard.
It takes a huge team effort to deliver that care, and
it is not just the carers and nurses, there is a whole team at all different levels working behind the scenes that are all part of the 'family' that make Linden Lodge stand out because of what everyone at every level does day in day out.
My mum enjoys the entertainment that comes into the home, and that takes many forms, and despite her disability, she enjoys it and the people coming in, engage with her and everyone else to make them feel special.
As a relative I also feel part of that 'Linden Lodge family' and I know my mum is safe and looked after, and that makes a big difference.

I joined LLNH in 1990 and have been the Registered Manager here for the last 20 years.


Being a qualified Registered Nurse with an Orthopaedic Nurse Certificate and a Level 4 Registered Managers award, I am passionate about making this home the best it can be, not only for the residents but also for the staff that work here and become part of our large family.

I have over 14 years of experience working in the healthcare industry. I joined Linden Care Homes in 2019 as a Care Assistant then progressed to a Deputy Manager.


After two years in that role, I am now job-sharing as a Home Manager with our long-standing Registered Manager at Linden Lodge Nursing Home.


I have a real passion for Person-Centred Care, providing the best care and environment for our residents as if they were my own family. Job satisfaction for me is interacting daily with our residents and seeing them happy.


At Linden Care Homes as soon as you walk through the doors, you can feel the warm and welcoming atmosphere.


The whole team are exceptionally kind and caring which gives me a sense of fulfilment unlike anything else I have experienced in my career.

Having worked at Linden Care homes for 16 years she has extensive knowledge and skills in adult general nursing, palliative care, end of life care and has tissue viability expertise.


She leads by example promoting person-centred values of individuality, rights, privacy, choice, independence, dignity and partnership.

Linden Lodge encouraged me to go to catering college where I trained to be a cook.


During my time at Linden Lodge I have steadily improved my skills and am now Head of Catering for all Linden Care Homes Ltd and am responsible for the standard of catering in all three homes. I have been here for 18 years and I love my job.
