Linden Lodge Nursing Home

I witnessed the dedication during Covid and the extended "Lock down". There was close adherence to all the rules, to keep the residents safe and was glad that Mom was there.

Very happy with the care and support given by all of the staff to the member of our family rooms and warm clean and comfortable as is the day room staff keep the family updated with any changes or information that are necessary always a pleasure to visit.

I would have no problem recommending Linden Lodge to others.

It is such a difficult decision to move into care, but we really could not have found a better 'new home' for my mum. It is never going to be the same as 'at home', but all the staff take the trouble to get to know their residents and spend quality time with them. Everyone is always friendly and pleasant, which gives a real sense of community. I would highly recommend Linden Lodge to anyone who needs peace of mind that your relative will be well cared for.

My dad has been at Linden Lodge since January 2021 which was during the covid days! So we couldn’t visit or even “check out the home!” However, the communication was excellent and we felt Dad was looked after. When we were able to visit the precautions were great and made us feel Dad was safe. The staff have always made myself and my family feel welcome. They know Dad and talk about him with real affection. From the amazing cleaners to the great carers (two staff members especially) I can’t thank them enough for looking after Dad now that we are unable to.

As a relative I also feel part of that 'Linden Lodge family' and I know my mum is safe and looked after, and that makes a big difference.

I'm very pleased and happy that my brother is very well cared for since he came up here since last September 2022. All the family see him every week now he’s up here, so very cheerful and always got a smile on his face. All the staff are fantastic with my brother and give him dignity and respect. They are all very warm and welcoming every time you walk into the nursing home. I’m so grateful to them all, knowing he’s well looked after. A very big thank you to you all.

The home is clean and appears to be well-run. The staff are friendly and helpful. Mother-in-law likes it here and says the food is lovely.

The staff were excellent and treated my husband with dignity and humour, chatting to him and looking after his needs.

My father received excellent care and attention at Linden Lodge. I was kept informed of any problems or causes for concerns with any changes in Dad's health promptly and efficiently. I cannot thank the whole team at Linden Lodge enough for their care, support and attention to detail. We are eternally grateful as a family for Dad's care.

My mother died on 29/09/2022. The care and thoughtfulness of all the staff both before and after she died was excellent, for both her and my husband and myself.

Caring is a difficult job and we thank you for your hard work.

The care my wife was given during her stay was excellent, especially during the last three weeks of her life. She was treated with compassion and dignity until the end.

The GP placed him on End-of-Life care and the Care Home Manager applied for Continuing Health Care funding the same day, which was approved within a few days. He passed away five weeks later. During his time in Linden Lodge, all the staff were very focused on easing his pain as much as possible and supporting my family during visits, nothing was ever too much trouble. The whole home and everyone who works there is focused on quality of care and support. The home is furnished to a high standard, kept very clean and all the downstairs rooms have access to smart patio areas filled with flowers and plants. There is such a pleasant and positive atmosphere here.

Linden lodge Nursing home's standard of care and support is excellent. Fun entertainment is there for those who want to join in, food is also excellent, cleaning, laundry, always informed if mom has not been too well. I would certainly recommend them.
