The staff are very friendly and helpful. I always get a phone call if Mum has had to see the doctor or has had a fall. The staff are very good with Mum as she no longer walks and has dementia. They know what she likes and dislikes. The Old Vicarage has recently been repainted and had new flooring and has a very clean and bright feel to it. Mum has a ground floor room which has a lovely aspect over the gardens, which are well maintained.
All staff are attentive and aware of my mother and her needs.
Love visiting The Old Vicarage. Everyone is so nice and the staff look after everyone so well. It is always clean and smells fresh. I can see from the display walls that there are always activities to get involved in. It is clear that management care a lot about the home, its residents and their staff.
My grandma moved to this home a few weeks ago, and I can't speak highly enough of the staff the dignity showed to my grandma. The staff are polite and make me feel welcomed to the home. I would recommend this home to anybody that asked me
My grandad has recently moved into The Old Vicarage and I cannot praise the management and staff enough. Everyone has been so kind and welcoming. My grandad has settled well and enjoys being around people. The food always looks lovely and the home always seems to have lots of activities going on. I would definitely recommend the home to anyone.
Really impressed with the care here. Clean home with lovely staff, my Auntie is very happy here. She loved it over Christmas with the panto, fayre and meal out. Big thank you to all the staff, they do a wonderful job.
My experience with The Old Vicarage has been a very pleasurable journey so far, from the visit assessment to the facilities the home provides for its residents. My mum is extremely well cared for. Her room is always fresh, clean and tidy. I cannot begin to describe how amazing all the staff are they are a great team.
The manager is very professional and always has time to tell me how my friend is getting on and I know she is well looked after and is very settled in the home.
Lovely place and lovely staff.
Can't give this home enough praise, it's clean, very pleasant and staff are the best I have seen in a care home.
Staff here are very friendly and very nice atmosphere. Gives out quality care and support to all the people that require it.
Brilliant staff. Residents are treated amazingly and with dignity. Home is always spotless. The activities and days out provided are lovely too, nice to see everybody enjoying themselves. Everybody is so polite and welcoming, particularly management
My husband is very happy here.
Really nice home, lovely friendly staff and nicely decorated (new floor etc) Always enjoy my visits and my friend is really happy here.
When I visit I'm always offered a drink and chat with the staff.
My friends appear happy to live at The Old Vicarage.
It has taken time but my mother is gradually settling down and making friends with other residents and staff.
Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff always feel included in every activity that is happening. I would stay there myself if the time arose that I needed expert care.
My mum has been in The Old Vicarage since January 2017, she absolutely loves staying there and we are very comfortable leaving her there, they always have entertainment on for the residents and always music paying for a sing-song. Quality of care is excellent, mum's come on leaps and bounds since being here.
She is a lot happier, she is kept immaculate and is eating like a queen.
He appetite is back due to the varied menu on offer.
All the staff are amazing with the residents and the activities program is very good as well.
I thank you 'The Old Vicarage' for giving me 'old' auntie back!!
Mum came to the home for respite care after a period in hospital after a short yet severe illness. As soon as my brother and I came to look round we knew it was the best care home we had seen and would perfectly suit mum's needs. The welcome and care demonstrated by the staff throughout mum's stay were first class and they always treated her with dignity and respect. Mum particularly enjoyed the 'chair based exercise classes' and we could see her strength and confidence returning throughout her stay. Thank you for the care you gave to mum in her time with you. We are so very grateful!
