A very pleasant place to visit, all staff very friendly and helpful, plenty of things for residents to do, overall a lovely place.
My mum is in The Old Vicarage Care Home and I think the place is very well run, clean and I feel my mum is very well looked after.
The Old Vicarage is a very professional and friendly Home. The staff are all very friendly and hardworking. There is always a pleasant atmosphere and I can't fault the home in any way.
Whenever I visit my Grandma the home always smells nice and is clean and tidy. The staff are always happy and welcoming and its a lovely friendly atmosphere. They have different activities and outings which my Grandma loves. The food always looks nice and there seems to be a varied menu. My Gran's room is lovely and has a nice view.
Lovely home and lovely team. As soon as you walk in you feel a homely feel and lovely atmosphere. All the staff work very hard and all residents seem to be very happy. The home is always clean and tidy and nothing is too much trouble for anyone.
I can't praise The Old Vicarage enough for the care and kindness that everyone has shown our family. The home is very clean and tidy. The food is very nice and I love that my mum has a choice. My mum is very settled and I wouldn't move her anywhere else.
This is a lovely home. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble. My grandson is very happy and wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
All members of staff were caring, considerate and compassionate. All you could ask for. The most reassuring moment was an over-heard conversation whilst waiting outside mum's bedroom. Two members of staff were assisting a resident out of bed with patience re-assuring and good humour - wonderful.
The only improvements that could be made would be more staff and more funding.
I sincerely hope The Old Vicarage care home get all they need - they thoroughly deserve it.
Lovely home. My brother is very well looked after. The staff are friendly and work very hard.
Lovely home, staff very kind and caring. My gran feels happy and well loved by everyone.
I am on a gluten free diet and I am looked after very well.
Lots of interaction and plenty of activities on offer, with new ideas to help resident's stimulation.
The bedroom is always clean and tidy. Management and staff are always approachable, friendly and helpful with any concerns.
The food is very good and there is a variety of choice for all residents. The laundry service is very useful and quick.
Given the financial pressures faced by the care industry and the endless rules and regulations. The management and carers give my mum an excellent standard of care
I visit the home occasionally and during my visits the staff are always friendly and caring towards my relative. The Home always seems to have a lively atmosphere with lots going on. The Home is always clean and tidy and my relatives room is lovely.
could not wish for a better home. My wife loves it, and if she likes it then I am more than happy.
The staff take excellent care of my mother in law, they always have time for everyone's needs. It is a very bright and cheerful home with lots of entertainment for everyone. Mother in law seems very happy and always saying how good all the staff are to her. We are glad we found The Old Vicarage.
The care home is a lovely homely place. Mum has been there for sometime now and the staff treat her with such dignity and respect. I am always made welcome when I visit as well. The staff work very hard and nothing seems too much for them, they create a very happy environment for the residents. Thank you to all of the staff.
Once my mums routine was established the care she has received at The Old Vicarage has been excellent. I do not recall my mum ever being as happy as she has been here. Over the last 2 weeks mum has deteriorated. The team have worked hard to keep her comfortable and have always acted in her best interests. My family and I are always made welcome and our opinions are considered. I would not hesitate to recommend The Old Vicarage to others.
My mother has been a resident for nearly 2 years this Xmas, I find the home very satisfactory for care, professional, staff both the management team down to cleaners. Food is very good and well produced to my mother. Her room is always spotless and comfortable. Overall a home from home. Thank you.
The home is clean and a relaxed environment. I am always made to feel welcome. The staff are very helpful and seem to enjoy working there, I am very happy my uncle is here.
