The experience of myself and family regarding the care and consideration towards my wife by the staff of Victoria Park Care Home was first class in every way, excellent in every way.
My wife was cared for like a member of family.
We cannot thank everyone concerned enough.

Thank you all so much. Take care. Lots of love.

The staff and management are all very kind and caring, always listen to what relatives ask about loved ones and take notice of any information that is offered to them with the care of their relative because we know our loved ones and what they need. This is a good home for respite as well.

What a wonderful, caring home.
My husband is cared for so well here.
The manager is excellent, very helpful and supportive, all the staff are cheerful and co-operative - even under extremely challenging circumstances.

I consider that we are extremely fortunate to have my husband looked after so kindly here.

The care home is situated near a lovely park and is very handy as it is near the main road but has good parking in front of the home. It is very pleasant and welcoming.

Whenever I visit my mom she is always dressed nicely, has her hair combed and looks cared for and for that I'm very grateful. If she could speak I know she would say 'thank you'.

This care home is lovely. Very clean and pleasant. Your staff are excellent. My only criticism is that you seem short of staff, a couple more carers would be good. My mum has no complaints about the food or the general care, but she seems to spend all day just sitting and not getting any kind of exercise.

Reply from Clare Sheehan, Careline Advisor at Victoria Park Care Home

Thank you for your review, our staffing levels are monitored and allocated according to resident’s dependencies within the home and these are reviewed on a regular basis. We now have a new Wellbeing Co-ordinator within the home and I have asked that she spends time with your mother to identify any...

We are really happy with the home BUT the lack of staff who are (caring) and management has been a cause for concern. The remaining carers and housekeepers should be rewarded for sticking with the situation such as a pay rise for such lovely girls. Would like to see more structured activities, not the craft side but more homely pursuits and one to one conversations with residents.

Reply from Clare Sheehan, Careline Advisor at Victoria Park Care Home

Thank you very much for your valued feedback. We are pleased to announce that the home manager is now back in the home full time following her recuperation and she will be supporting the staff team to continue to deliver the kind care you have praised them for. We also have our well-being...

Although our mother was only in this home for a short time, we found the way she was looked after was great. All the staff were kind, considerate and friendly. The room our mother had was quite large and well maintained. A friend or family member would visit her most days and we were never made to feel unwelcome, even when six adults and my four year old granddaughter turned up all at the same time, they did not mind. We were really pleased that we managed to find somewhere so nice and in a lovely and convenient location.

Mum spent just over a week in the care home for end of life care. The environment was warm and welcoming as were the staff. This was a difficult time emotionally for the family but the staff were kind and supportive in particular the staff were very considerate of my 90-year-old dad.
