Our family were told my mum couldn't be treated anymore, she was on end-of-life care. We started, reluctantly, to look for a care home. As soon as I spoke on the phone to one of the nurses and went to visit, we had found the right place. It was a clean and happy place to be and visit. They were kind and helpful to the family and cared deeply about the care they gave my mum until she passed away.
This has been the perfect place for my grandad to spend the last few weeks of his life.
All of the staff go above and beyond. Very friendly and polite at all times. Very welcoming environment.
This place is an example of why people in this profession are worth so much more - by this I mean wages and recognition - thank you.
I have found my aunt is treated very well here. The staff are all lovely. The room is impeccable. My aunt came from another home in emergency care and she was a nervous wreck. Treated terribly there. She has come on in leaps and bounds at Victoria Park as much as a 95-year-old can. I feel she is totally safe and cared for.
We have visited my mother for several years now and we have been extremely happy with the care provided. The staff are brilliant.
I had a good visit today which me and my mum enjoyed. The staff were very attentive and everything went smoothly from booking in advance to PPE acquisition before we met in the visitors room. Mum appears well-groomed and well cared for. Thank you to all who facilitated this.
After a few weeks, I can see a difference in my dad. So very pleased, thank you.
Mum has been at Victoria Park for less than a week following a long stay in hospital. The care, support and professionalism from every staff member. Admin, carers, nurses and the manager have been impeccable. Absolutely nothing is too much trouble when dealing with the resident or family/friends and the positive customer experience is paramount. The rooms are tastefully decorated with more than ample furniture. A real 'home from home' transition, highly recommended.
Mum has been in the home less than a week but I have found the room and staff to be absolutely outstanding. The staff from receptionists to carers, cannot do enough for you. They have made mum's time in Victoria Park an extremely comfortable stay.
My mum is being well looked after. She always has a smile on her face. We can have a laugh and a joke. Happy.
Very happy with the care home, staff look after my mum really well. My mum loves the home, which makes me pleased to know she has such good care and I do not have to worry.
My uncle was taken care of to a very high standard. It gives me peace of mind knowing how well he was looked after. He was happy and understood that he was in the best place after living alone for a number of years.
Very caring nursing and care staff and management. I was impressed that my mother always look well cared for - the staff facilitated phone communication every day despite the challenges of lockdown. Restricted visiting was supported when government restrictions allowed. Mum was supported with care and compassion in the difficult last weeks of her life. I too felt supported by some lovely staff.
My dad went into Victoria Park Care Home on an end of life plan. Even though he, unfortunately, wasn't a resident for very long, the staff were very friendly, professional and supportive. Keeping me updated each day on his progress. They nursed my dad with dignity, respect and excellent care, right up until the end.
ur mum was only in for a very short time; she was quite ill when she went there, but the care and support given to her was excellent.
My mother is very pleased with her care. There isn't anyone she doesn't like. The staff are so lovely to her. They can't do enough for her, for her family peace of mind is priceless.
Brilliant care provided/ very friendly staff. Thnak you for all your hard work.
My mum came for 2 weeks respite, extended to 4 weeks whilst waiting for somewhere more permanent. As a family, we are pleased with the care provided. No complaints.
This was the first time I visited Victoria Park and I found the staff all very helpful and attentive to the residents.
