Unfortunately my neighbour had a stroke so ended up needing nursing care and couldn't remain at home. He has been so well looked after and seems really settled. The staff are all amazing along with the domestics all so friendly and welcoming nothing is too much trouble. Thank you to you all.

Our family member was very happy whilst at Victoria Park Care Home. He was looked after well and liked all the staff as they were all very friendly and respectful toward him. We noticed the home was very clean and had a homely feel to it, and the staff, including the cleaners, laundry girls, kitchen staff, carers, management and maintenance men, were all very kind and helpful. If ever I had to go into a home, I would choose that one, well done.

My mother-in-law has been at Victoria Park for 9 months, and during that time, I have seen nothing but care and concern from the staff. She is treated with respect at all times, even though she can be a little confused much of the time. The meals are lovely and varied, and she is given as much time as she needs to eat them. All the staff are cheerful and friendly with the residents, and her face lights up when they wave from the other side of the living room if they are going through. A lovely home and marvellous staff. I am very happy with Victoria Park.

I was told the place was fantastic by the manager. She told me she'd got a first class chef within less than 24 hours. My mother was on the phone crying. I attended the care home to find this fantastic cook couldn't even poach your egg. The place is an absolute disgrace and I would not let a dog stop in it. The Manager, is a first class liar don't put any member of your family in this place if you care about them and I am telling you the truth you are more than welcome to contact me. My mother was taken out the place as soon as possible and I care for her at home.

Overall Experience
I'm so grateful for the staff at this care home. They are friendly, approachable, and genuinely compassionate. From the start, they made sure to keep us well-informed about everything and always greeted us with warmth and kindness. It's clear that they truly care about their residents, which made a huge difference in my granddad's experience here. We've felt completely supported by the team every step of the way.
The cleanliness of the care home is also exceptional. Unlike other places we've seen, there's no unpleasant smell, and the common areas are always tidy and well-kept. My granddad was always well cared for - he was clean, shaved, and bathed regularly.
I would recommend this care home to anyone.

A huge thank you to all the staff for making my Grandad's last few weeks as pleasurably as they could be.

My dad was in Victoria Park Nursing home from January 2025 until his passing in March 2025 .During his time there he was treated with the utmost respect care and kindness from everyone he was in contact with. Although not a ultra modern establishment it was spotless and comfortable and warm and the staff were brilliant with both dad and the whole family (so wonderful the day he passed away ) I would recommend it to anyone thank you for looking after him

From the minute my husband was taken into the home he was treated fantastically by every member of management and staff. He was looked after and treated with respect and had laughter with the care staff, all the family were looked after and everything was explained to us. The day he passed away he was made comfortable and spoken to gently and we were looked after. Overall experience was outstanding.

The home is always clean and welcoming. The carers are very caring and would do anything for the residents to make them feel safe and happy. It's a shame it is changing hands, I only hope the new owners are as caring.

My mum has been a resident at Victoria Park Care Home for 9 years now. I have always been happy with her care. The staff are attentive and treat my mum with kindness and dignity.
I am kept up to date with her health and care plan.

Although my mum's ability to participate in activities has waned, she is still included.

I think all the staff are lovely and very caring. My husband is being cared for extremely well, and he is happy here. I could never have the patience and dedication required to work in a care home. It must take a special kind of person, which, unfortunately, I am not. I never thought he would settle in a home, but he has been treated with such kindness that he has responded to that in a positive way.

Both my mother-in-law and father-in-law reside at this facility. The care they receive is excellent and the staff when available are very attentive. On occasion, they get extremely busy and could do with a float shift to help out during the busy times of the day.
