Ashby Court offers a wide range of care, including residential, nursing, dementia, convalescence and day care. The home also offers care to those living with Parkinson’s.

This purpose-built property has been designed with spacious lounge and dining areas, and residents are able to relax and unwind in scenic gardens that include tranquil water features, fruit trees and raised flower beds.

Bedrooms have en-suite facilities and have benefitted from refurbishment, with 24-hour call systems throughout.

Freshly prepared meals are tailored to individual diet and preference, with some ingredients coming from the home’s own vegetable patch and herb garden. Residents can choose to take meals in the privacy of their own rooms or in the dining room.

The activity programme aims to keep residents active and includes carpet bowls, bingo, arts and crafts and films. Local entertainers visit often and day trips are arranged to local sights.

My mum looked at a few care homes before deciding on Ashby Court. It has taken a while for her to settle but after 2 months she has decided this is where she wants to stay. The staff are brilliant. They encourage my mum (who is not that sociable) to join in and make an effort to leave her room. She
has joined in activities which she has enjoyed and loves getting her hair done every week. She is looking forward to getting her nails done.

The staff at Ashby Court are very friendly and caring to every need of the residents. The nurses and carers are excellent as are all the support staff.
Recent improvements to the decor have made a big difference across the home and no issue is too small for them to ignore.
The recent acquisition
of a minibus will allow residents to go on more day trips and activities are planned regularly.

Mum has been in the home for about four years. She is treated with dignity and great respect. I cannot recommend Ashby Court enough. They have been simply superb. Keeping us informed at any eventuality or incident. The staff are well trained, friendly and compassionate.

My mother has been a resident now for two and a half years and for the past two years, she has been bedridden and totally reliant on staff for her care. I cannot fault the attention that she receives 24 hours a day. The nursing care is excellent and she is always treated with the utmost kindness and
dignity in her failing years.

Ashby Court Care Home is a lovely, well-kept property with pretty gardens for residents to use. I would be happy to live there. The mainstay of the place though is the wonderful staff. They are so caring and friendly but totally professional when it comes to the needs of the residents. They are a credit

My mother has been in this excellent care home for over six years, slowly fading with dementia and through all the stages of this terrible disease has always received first-class care. The staff, at every level, have always shown kindness and gentle care, with a high standard of professionalism without
losing the humanity or humour that is now my mum's home. The home itself is a pleasant place, well maintained and comfortable with a lovely garden and lots of activities offered. I have no hesitation in giving this care home a good review and consider my mum lucky to have been given a place there.

My Mother came to Ashby Court for respite in November 2021 where she received very good care. She was so happy there and did not want to leave so she ended up staying permanently.
I have to say that when I see Mum now she is living at Ashby Court, she is always smiling. I am so glad we made the right
choice for Mum. She loves the home and most of the residents and carers.

The family are very pleased with the care our father is getting. He seems very happy with the staff and says the food is good. Not sure about the range of activities they have, Dad doesn't say much about that side.

All the staff in Ashby Court are kind and always friendly and helpful and willing to answer questions. There is always a welcome when you arrive to visit. There is a friendly atmosphere in the home and amongst the staff. My husband is always kept clean and shaven and treated with kindness and respect.
His room is also always clean and tidy.

My mother lived at Ashby Court from March 2013 to December 23rd, 2021. They were perhaps the happiest years of her life. She could have her moments, but she was happy, cheerful, engaged, and very sociable, especially with the staff. They all could not have been more caring and supportive - indeed they
loved her. The staff looked after her so well during the covid lockdowns, as I was unable to travel to see her. She died knowing that she was loved and cared for. I am forever in their debt.

Every time I have phoned or visited Ashby Court I have been struck by the kindness and positive attitude of the staff. It is a huge comfort to know that my uncle is being well cared for and is happy. A first-rate home staffed by first-rate carers.

My father has been a resident on the dementia unit for 12 months. The staff are very patient with him, which as a family we value highly. Both personal hygiene and the cleanliness of the room is excellent; dad is always nicely dressed and shaved. The home's approach to Covid has been great, keeping
Dad safe through the peak of the pandemic. Although the weekly charges are higher than other homes we viewed, you receive the level of care you pay for.

I have been in the care home for eleven months now and am well looked after. Staff cannot do enough for you. They take care of our welfare and you could not ask for more.

This care home is the only one I have stayed in but I doubt it could be bettered. The food is excellent and the nurses and carers second to none. I would highly recommend this Bupa Care Home to anyone wanting their loved ones to be well fed and well looked after.

My mother went into Ashby Court care Home in December 2019. Although she wasn't in there long the support and care she received from the management and staff was exceptional. The home itself was to a very high standard and rooms were spotless and had a warm homely feeling.
I would definitely recommend
this home.
