The home is cozy, staff lovely my mum was e=here for 7 years and 5 months.
Although I didn't like my mum in a nursing home, but had no choice as she needed 24 hr care. I am glad it was Harley Grange she was in.

I really think we wouldn't of had her as long as we did, if in any other home. She was given a month to live 7 years and 5 months ago.

Harley Grange Care Home provided excellent care and comfort for my wife during her 6 months stay here. The staff were always reliable, encouraging and friendly. My wife was treated with courtesy and affection throughout the period of her residence and was always carefully monitored during her treatment for severe dementia. When she passed away, I was comforted by a nurse who sat with me through the ordeal. I would certainly recommend Harley Grange Care Home to anybody considering residence in a care home. The building is security-conscious, light, and comfortable with a pleasant lounge, dining room and garden. My wife was allocated a chair in the lounge by the garden window, which gave her some comfort.

The overall rating from myself would be very good, However i don't feel that by having two staff at nights is simply enough to cater for the amount of residents there, Whether this due to a cost cutting measure iv'e no idea ?? This needs to be resolved and it's my belief there should be at least four. The care in the day appeared to be very good but i'm giving care/Support a 3 as again i wasn't happy of the minimal staff on the night shift.

All staff tried to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. A great success with the only negative was one of communication. All residents may feel they are priority one and, on occasions, put some staff under unfair pressure. However, some staff went that extra mile. Thank you.

This care home has provided outstanding care to this resident for the past 18 months. The home has a 'family' feel about it and the staff are caring, smart and treat residents and visitors with respect and dignity. The home has a beautiful lounge and dining area and it is very spacious. All clothing has been laundered appropriately and residents clean and tidy. The home is clean and bright. It is managed to a high standard and all needs are catered for. I cannot fault any aspect of this home and thank them all for providing such excellent care.

From the moment my father went into Harley Grange he was met with care, compassion, dignity and respect. All his care was met and he was also kept comfortable. The staff are always friendly not just to dad but to all of the family making a difficult time more bearable and for that we as a family would like to say a special thank you to the whole team.

I was really impressed with every aspect of Harley Grange from the clean and comfortable surroundings to the care and compassion of the staff.
My mum was with them for over 2 years and was cared for professionally, respectfully and with good humour.

The staff were wonderful with my mum, they really 'got her' character and I am so grateful for the fact that they persisted through the difficult moments when she first went into the home. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a place for a family member.

My father spent the last 8 weeks of his life here. I found the home in a beautiful setting, calm, friendly and efficient. The staff were lovely, caring and knowledgable.

The night manager was particularly good, phoning me when my dad had a fall with empathy, concern and kindness. Thank you all at Harley Grange!

My overall experience of Harley Grange Care Home is very good. The atmosphere in the home is pleasant and friendly. The staff are kind, friendly and hardworking. The manager and admin assistant are both helpful, friendly and always happy to explain things.

The only thing I was unhappy with was activities but this was unavoidable under the circumstances. Most of the time my father was there, there were no activities coordinator because of serious difficulties recruiting. When they did get someone she was very good, and very quickly developed a good rapport with the residents.

When Mum went into care she wasn't eating or drinking, the staff were so good and caring towards her and got her eating and drinking, giving us an extra six months with her. The care and dedication of all staff were remarkable and we cannot thank them enough. They truly are in mum's words 'angels'.

My father moved into Harley Grange Care Home in September 2022 from another care home. Since moving to Harley Grange he was well cared for. He was shaved daily, clean and ironed clothes. The food was freshly made with plenty of choice. The carers are kind and compassionate. The manager is readily available to answer any questions. In the three days leading up to my father's death, the staff were also supportive and caring to our family as well as Dad - nothing was too much trouble.

The staff at Harley Grange Care Home are friendly and helpful. They take time to chat to my dad and check he has everything he needs. The nursing staff keep me up to date with how Dad is and any changes/treatments. Dad has plenty of natural light in his room and can see trees out the window. He is encouraged to do his exercises.
