My mother moved in Mid November 2018 after a fall at home. She has been treated with dignity at all times and given all the assistance to settle in required.
The standard of the home and staff is fantastic. She could not be in a better place.

I live 150 miles from Ashwood Care Home so can only visit my aunt about every 5 weeks but, because of my first-hand experience of the care and love she receives, I am reassured that this 110-year-old lady is in the best possible hands. When we visit, always unannounced, we are struck by the friendliness
and patience of the staff, the dignity shown to all residents and the total absence of any of aromas that can sometimes be associated with care homes. The recent refurbishments have further added to the quality of the dining and lounge experiences as well providing a stimulus to those for whom the past is a familiar reality.

Following my wife's emergency admission I subsequently found the service excellent and staff easy to liaise with.
All carers dedicated, helpful and pleasant. I would hope that if respite or permanent admission required Ashwood Nursing Home would be available.

I was lucky enough to get a room at Ashwood Nursing Home for my mother after a traumatic time in hospital and a severe downturn in her dementia.
Before that she'd been struggling to cope at home despite the best efforts of professional carers visiting twice daily. After a difficult few weeks of her
acclimatising to being in a care home (always the case with dementia) I am surprised to say I haven't seen her looking this well and happy for some considerable time.
Her dementia, of course, hasn't improved, but her attitude and temperament have significantly. She is now always clean and tidy when I see her.


I'm sure this is due to the fantastic care she is receiving at Ashwood. The home seems well staffed and they all seem caring, conscientious and friendly. The home is immaculately clean.


From my few week's experience, I would have no hesitation in recommending this home.

Ashwood have taken great care of my mum since she became a resident six years ago. It's the hardest decision ever to place your loved one in residential care but the care my mum receives gives me peace of mind she is being cared for.
It does seem to have a high turn over of staff but I'm guessing
this is more to do with the nature of the job. Overall though I would recommend Ashwood to anyone wanting a top quality level of care for a loved one needing residential care.

The staff have all been very friendly and helpful. Ashwood is a good building being open, light and airy. The staff have all shown genuine interest in mum and getting to know her and what she likes. For the short time mum has been in Ashwood I am very impressed with all the staff I have come into contact

Mum has been a resident at Ashwood Nursing Home for more than five years. During that time, she has received excellent care. The care staff, although busy, always makes time to see her needs and make her comfortable. The domestic staff and laundry ladies are very friendly and approachable responding
quickly to any requests. The home is very clean.


I am confident that mum is in a safe and well cared for environment.

My mother seems to be happy in the care home. The room is basic but she is able to have some of her personal belongings around her.

My Aunt has been at Ashwood since February 2017 - unfortunately, her medical condition means that she is not able to make the most of all that is on offer but the family are very pleased with the level of care and the cleanliness of the Home. The Staff are very attentive and always seem to have smiles
on their faces - I can only hope that they are rewarded well because it is an incredibly important and difficult job that they do. I would definitely recommend Country Court Care and specifically, Ashwood Nursing Home.

I visit my wife daily and find the care given to all residents is excellent. I, myself, am welcomed and treated as if I am also a resident. The staff, from the Manager, nurses, carers, kitchen and other workers, are generally cheerful and helpful.
