Although I haven't had any concerns regarding my mum's care, it was reassuring that she was open and responsive to a few requests I raised, such as arranging regular haircuts.
Thank you for taking the time to attend our recent Meet the Manager session and for sharing your positive feedback.
We are delighted to hear that you found Maxine informative and proactive, and that you feel confident in the care your mum receives.

I find this Home very disturbing not a lot of stuff around don't keep an eye on the residence as my mum is in there. She's had two falls in the last week since being in there carer was swearing at other residents very homophobic care home. this is the worst care Home I've ever been in. And I have worked in a few care homes and residential homes also Home care and the Nhs Hospital to be quite honest I wouldn't put my worst nightmare into this home if I had my way I'd move my mother out of this place hence the one star. patients wee on the floors staff just walked by don't bother cleaning it up the place smells of wee. My mum has weed herself a number of times and left her in her own urine hence why she keeps getting urine infections UTIs don't seem to bother you kind of have to tell them that she's got a water infection. Staff need to be retrained know how to respect the residence as this is their home and they're working actually for the residence. I find this place very disturbing.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. All information raised in reviews is taken very seriously.

Once again Cedar Falls came to the rescue! Admitting my mother for emergency respite care on 27/09/25. A Saturday morning, how organised and quick, contacting staff, who were on leave and out of office. They also placed her in room that enabled her to be opposite my father. My mother was able to spend the last week of my father's life with him 24 hours a day. Thank you Ceda Falls, you are all amazing.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We are deeply touched by your kind words. It was our privilege to be able to support your family during such an emotional and important time. Ensuring that your parents could be together and that your mother received the care and...

My grandfather moved to Cedar Falls in May from a home outside of the area. From initial enquiry to him moving in we were fully supported as a family. He has been so happy in this home and he has made some friends and he gets on so well with the entire team. Everyone is friendly and they answer any questions we have as a family and action any health concerns promptly which is such a relief to us knowing he is being well supported and cared for. He loves taking part in activities and he says to us that the food is so nice and he always has second portions if he fancies more. It is nice to walk in to the home and it smells fresh and feels welcoming. All in all as a family we are extremely happy he was accepted and moved to Cedar Falls as his happiness is our priority.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful and kind review. We're delighted to hear how well your grandfather has settled in at Cedar Falls and that you and your family felt supported throughout the entire moving process-it's something we always aim to make as smooth and reassuring as possible.It's...

My friend's brother needed an urgent end of life care place nearby - as he lived away from this area. Our 'tour' of the care home was handled carefully and compassionately. The facility was calm & clean & friendly. A place was available and within a few days my friend's brother was moved to a lovely quiet room with a proper hospital bed/mattress & given the care he needed & support his sister needed until he died. Many Thanks.
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. We're deeply sorry for the circumstances that brought your friend's brother to us, but we're truly grateful that we were able to provide the care and support needed during such a difficult time. It's heartening to know that your experience of...

I can not fault the home at all, my husband has dementia and the staff (carers and nurses) are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble, the home is spotless, always someone cleaning, and the food is great, seconds always available.

Your heartfelt words mean a great deal to us and will be warmly appreciated by everyone here.
My Dad has been in Cedar Falls since last June. He arrived in a very poorly state, both physically and mentally. Over time his condition has improved in improbable ways, both physically and mentally. His own determination is no doubt a large part of that, but it's been nurtured by the outstanding care within the home. Particularly the care staff themselves and the nurses, who show genuine warmth and affection for him, as well as professionalism. I'm very happy with Dad's care at Cedar Falls.
Thank you for your kind review of Cedar Falls. We are thrilled to hear that your dad's physical and mental well-being has improved with the support of our dedicated team. We will be sure to share your thoughtful feedback with them, they will be truly delighted. Providing care with dignity,...

The family had to place my partner's auntie into Cedar Falls just before Christmas it was a difficult decision as she can still be quite independent. My partner's auntie has expressed to us that she loves living at Cedar Falls the care team are so kind and caring, they reassure her when she becomes tearful and they show interest when she sits on her own. I need to give a big shout-out to the Cedar Falls team for their hard work and the dedication they show towards their residents and for making family members so welcome. Cedar Falls is so far the best home we have seen. Thank you for looking after our auntie at these difficult times.

I feel that he has been cared for with respect, he has had frequent regular checks and additional medical advice has been sought when required.

My sister-in-law continues to receive good care at Cedar Falls, her late-stage dementia is still in place but the staff continue to attempt to keep her spirits up. Food is very pleasant and nourishing, we take in chocolate bars as her sweet tooth is still very much in evidence, but breakfast lunch and dinner are nowadays being eaten as her appetite seems to have returned. A sore on her leg is still causing concern but we're informed that the doctor is aware and treatment ongoing.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we are grateful for your trust in Cedar Falls for the care of your sister-in-law. It's heartening to know that the team at Cedar Falls are dedicated to maintaining her well-being and are making efforts to keep her spirits up despite the...

"I enjoy my role as Lifestyle Coordinator at Cedar Falls. The residents make the day fun; we enjoy all sorts of activities together. I also make sure there is one-to-one time for those who prefer quieter pursuits or just a cup of tea and a chat. No two days are the same, but every day is a wonderful experience. My job is so rewarding."

Hi, my name is Leanda. I have been at Cedar Falls for over 3 years. Why do I enjoy my job? I love the diversity of my day; no day is ever the same. The residents and families become part of my family – the team are great; we go through laughs and tears daily, but are there for each other, which is what counts.

Hello, my name is Adele. I am the Director of Regulation for Tanglewood Care Homes and the Registered Manager at Cedar Falls. Throughout my career, I have successfully led numerous care homes to achieve a Good rating with the CQC. Cedar Falls is a truly special home, with a dedicated team who place our residents at the heart of everything they do. I am excited to support the continued growth of the home and to help drive ongoing improvements in the quality of care and well-being for both our residents and our team members.
