My mum and dad now reside at Cedar Falls Nursing Home, with Mum moving in nine years ago. Their care and attention to my parents is second to none, they ensure they are cared for really well and provide an immersive experience for them. They keep me fully informed of any changes in their care or health
and send monthly newsletters and updates.

Cedar Falls Care Home is blessed by an excellent catering team and staff who care for the residents and take the time to engage with them. The home is looking to recruit more staff which can only be a good thing so that an even higher standard of care can be achieved; offering more time to engage with/feedback
to relatives by phone or in person.
The rooms are well-presented and clean and the management team allows residents to take in personal items to make the room more homely. Even when clearly named items do go missing, which is frustrating and can be slow to be resolved.
Overall, I have been very happy with the team at Cedar Falls, I have peace of mind that my relative is being well cared for and is safe for which I am truly grateful.

Overall, the home was nice and had good facilities. The room was nice, and we were able to bring our own personal items from her house.
The only criticism was that my mother expressed dissatisfaction at the length of time it took staff to answer the call bell when she needed the toilet.
Also, it
might be good to note that patients as frail as my mother are unable to hold mugs of hot drinks and require a lighter cup that is more manageable. The staff were very friendly.

Cedar Falls Nursing Home has come up full care. My husband is always clean, meals are good and he is well looked after. The staff have got to know him and he relates to them. Because of his dementia, it is hard for anyone to look after people with aggression but 'well done'. The cleaning is up to scratch
and I am always greeted and told if there are any problems with my husband. Thank you.

Visited the home for four weeks after being discharged from hospital to help get well enough to return home. The home was lovely, spent time getting fit and well ready to return home.
Can't fault any aspect of the home. Would highly recommend.

My mother has been in Cedar Falls Care Home about two years. I find the care home excellent in every department. The carers are all 100% determined to look after each and every resident in every possible way. My mother has got dementia! She hasn't recognised me in the last two years so make sure you
do your research. If my mother has any other problems like she gets a cold or she slips on an object on the floor and hurts herself then the care home will always ring me and explain my mum's problem and if she needs to go to hospital or see the doctor in the care home, they will ask me if it's ok to take her or leave her to see the local doctor. All meals and drinks are good and if a person needs help in getting fed properly then there will always be a carer to help. The care home is always clean and tidy and when things go wrong and break down the care home have plenty of maintenance people to sort the problems out. There are lots of parking places and room for vehicles in the care home. Thank you.

Some of the care staff are not well trained for this kind of care. Not enough time is given by carers, feeding patients before they take the food away. Because of this, you can see the deterioration in patients in a very short time. I have visited this care home almost every day at mealtimes and see
lots of what goes on inside.

First time visiting my Mum. Very well organised. Very professional and keeping within the strict guidelines of Covid. The pod was lovely and clean and was fantastic to be able to see Mum and speak and to see she was well. The staff is very friendly.

I have been very happy here for nearly three years and have received such kindness. A great effort is made to make old people happy and life interesting for them. All the staff are very kind and there are things like jigsaws to do and other games for those of us who are able to take part. I feel safe

I couldn't recommend Cedar Falls highly enough, all staff are approachable and friendly. Excellent interaction, daily activities and special, caring needs. I'm confident my dad is well cared for, I have regular updates and pictures of his daily activities due to not being able to see him because of
the pandemic. I would recommend Cedar Falls, I know I don't have to worry about him, he's well cared for. The entertainment and activities are 10/10, love it. Dad loves his quizzes, singing and dancing. The food looks amazing and he looks clean and tidy. Most of all he isn't in his room all day. Thank you.

"I started at Cedar Falls as a Chambermaid in 2007 and transferred to the care department in 2008. I then earned my NVQ 2 & 3 and progressed to Senior Care Assistant. I loved the work so much that I decided to train as a nurse and did my training while still working at home. I qualified in 2019 and proudly began working as a nurse. In 2020 I was promoted to Deputy Manager which was a fantastic achievement and meant so much to me. I love being part of the community at Cedar Falls and leading such an amazing team."

"I enjoy my role as Activities Coordinator at Cedar Falls. The residents make the day fun, we enjoy all sorts of activities together.
