I fell and broke my hip at home and was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where I was operated on and spent a week recovering. I chose to stay at The Grosvenor Hall Care Home for my rehabilitation. The care that I received here was excellent, and the staff were all very attentive, kind and empathetic. Thank you all very much.

The buzzers for someone needing some help are going constantly and it often appears as if it's ignored without any idea as to the problem. Physio is very hit and miss considering you are in for intensive physio and more days than not are even a no show.
Thank you for your review of Grosvenor Hall. I am sorry that you feel that the service received did not reflect the care and support you expected. The staff at Grosvenor Hall do work hard and endeavour to ensure the stay for all residents is a positive experience. Whilst I am unable to discuss any...

Overall I'm very pleased with the care my mum is getting and feel at ease she is in safe hands. Whilst mum is recovering from a broken ankle she has been well looked after and mostly at ease in her room.
Good morning , Thank you for your lovely comments. We're so pleased to know your mum feels safe and comfortable while recovering. It's important to us that she is well cared for and at ease each day. We will continue to look after her with kindness and support every day.
This was my first stay in a care home, while I was waiting for brain surgery to treat my condition. At the time, I was living with severe mobility problems, cognitive difficulties and incontinence. I was also frightened and overwhelmed. From the moment I arrived at Grosvenor Hall Care Home the team made me feel genuinely welcome. Although my days were long and I was often confined to my bed, I never felt forgotten or alone. Staff came by regularly, not just to provide care, but to check on me, reassure me and offer comfort. Those small human moments meant more than they may realise. The team showed patience, kindness and dignity at all times even when my needs were complex and fluctuating. They treated me as a person not a condition. I am deeply grateful everyone at Grosvenor Hall for their compassion, professionalism and warmth during a very vulnerable time in my life. Their care made a difficult person far more bearable and I will always remember their kindness. Thank you.
Thankyou very much
Before all this, I had spent time in hospital following a couple of strokes.
The initial transitional care was arranged because I needed to be looked after, as well as being ill, my husband, Mick, had to go into hospital for a bowel cancer operation, so neither of us was available to care for the other. Thankfully provided excellent care in every way. Thank you.
All staff were kind, caring and supportive.
Thank you for your kind words regarding the care and staff at Grosvenor Hall.
Most of the carers are very good and treat clients with respect and attention. Sometimes there are delays in visiting clients when the staff are dealing with other clients. The catering is very good with choices at each meal and more than adequate is served. Rooms are very clean and kept tidy, en suites in the rooms used to enable clients privacy in washing and personal visits to toilets. TV in rooms used by my relative.
I visit my wife 4 times a week. She has been on nursing care for 18 months. Her room is always clean and she is comfortable and content. She has dementia. Every time I visit I am greeted with genuine smiles by the staff. All of them. She could not be better cared or anywhere else.
Thank you for your kind words regarding the care and staff at Grosvenor Hall. Our staff team work hard and strive to ensure that all residents are comfortable in their environment and that you are made to feel welcome when you visit. Your lovely review will be passed onto the staff team.

We take on board your concerns about waiting at times and work on reducing this. I will ensure our team are aware of your kind comments.
The Grosvenor Hall Care Home exemplifies everything good about the finest residential care on offer. I was privileged to be invited to stay following a traffic accident. I shall always remember how lovely, spotless and comfortable the whole premises were. The staff are wonderful. I felt safe, comfortable and cared for all the time. They work so hard, are professional, caring and looked after us as if they were family. The food was excellent. Lots of choice and such healthy dishes. There can be no better place to stay in England. Thanks to all of you.
My Father was residing in Grosvenor care home for nearly five years and has received constant care and attention, sometimes exceeding our expectations. The kindness of their staff has moved us on many occasions. I can only recommend this care home if you look for a place to welcome your loved one, particularly if they have Alzheimer's disease. Despite his mental and physical decline, he has enjoyed his time there and we can only be grateful to the staff and residents who helped him live the last years of his life comfortably.
Good evening, thank you for your kind review of the care your father received at Grosvenor Hall. It is good to hear the positivity in the review about the care and support he received by the great staff team at the home. We strive to maintain good standards of care, however long or short a stay may...
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. She was unable to get out of bed, but staff were good changing her nappies when needed. Meals were a bit hit and miss, but I was staying with her so I was able to top up. Beeping from the call buttons were very annoying all through the night.
Thank you for your review and feedback. We appreciate it. We acknowledge that the call bells can be annoying at times, and we aim to respond to them as quickly as possible to minimise disruption. While we cannot fully avoid this, we will look into reducing the volume during the night if possible....
Top-class care home, one in a million. Fantastic staff.
Thank you for your feedback! Our staff work hard to provide excellent service, and your recognition will certainly boost their morale. Thanks again for taking time!
My mother has been in the care home for eleven years. When she first arrived, she was the life and soul and as the years moved on, she has ended up bedridden, her care has been brilliant, the staff are exemplary.
Thank you for your feedback! Our staff work hard to provide excellent service, and your recognition will certainly boost their morale. We will pass your compliments to our staff.
