Very pleasant and obliging, caring etc. Listen to what is said and have made every effort to help my husband settle in. Gained much needed weight and happy with the nicely cooked food. My husband is looking better since he has been with said care home and so is his family and friends. I feel as though our welfare is looked out for. Staff approachable and sensitive to our needs.

The care and attention given to my mother in her short time at Grosvenor Hall Care Home was of the highest standard and all the staff were so careful and considerate with mum I could not have asked for better. The manager has been wonderful and should be set up as an example to others as the ideal caring person.

I find the staff very caring in a professional way,(nursing and caring skills). They protect the privacy and dignity of the residents. There is a good relationship between staff. The whole Grosnevor team work together to provide a safe family atmosphere. It does not matter the level of the staff, housekeeping, techs, carers and nurses all pull together and provide a great team.

My mum is at end of life and the care received has been outstanding. A team now lead by excellent management. The food is very good and nothing is too much trouble. I know this first hand because I stayed in my mums room for her last days.

The choice of meals is very good. The range of activities are well organised and enjoyed. Also enjoyed are the one to one sessions, talking about favourite subjects and looking together at books.

Since I came her to live. I have not been treated badly at all. I try not to trouble anybody else, including the staff and the people that help in anyway. They do the best at all times.

Overall Experience

My wife has been at Grosvenor Hall since December 2012. In general, Grosvenor's junior staff, in my view the key to a well-run care home, fully understand their roles and responsibilities and are courteous and caring; they are well led. Where occasional individual lapses have occurred, management has always listened and positive remedial action taken promptly. Regarding all grades at Grosvenor Hall, and ancillary staff, my wife put it succinctly: "They are kind. They do their best.", I wholeheartedly agree.

My father stayed at this care home for 3 months until he passed away, the staff were very good to him. Very caring and understanding towards him. In his last hours they looked after him extremely well. When the family arrived for the last hour before our father died they were caring and looked after us. Very respectful towards my father even after his death.

My friend has been a resident at Grosvenor Hall for a number of years. The staff throughout the home show kindness and respect to him helping his disabled wife on her visits to see him, she feels that they both are part of the Grosvenor Hill family. A very good home they supported him through to his end of life.
