Can't praise the home enough for the care and kindness of all the staff. The home is kept immaculate. All the residents seem happy and I know my father is very happy in the home. The staff from top to bottom are professional, kind and always smiling. The care they provide for my father is second to none. They have several events every month and send a monthly newsletter out to keep you up to date.

My dad has been at Elmwood for a couple of years. He really enjoys the entertainment and the staff help get him get involved, they are very supportive and helpful.
I have piece of mind knowing he's looked after and they contact me if his illness/condition flares up so I can add additional support to him.
He now classes the staff as his little family and he is very happy.

Downside is kitchen do not cater 100% for specific dietary requirements.

My father has been in Elmwood for just over 3 years now and have found it to be one of the better care homes in the Boston area.
I have, over recent years visited other relatives in surrounding areas to which by far, Elmwood house excels itself in all areas.

Would highly recommend to anyone looking to seek a clean, modern, caring home in a happy environment.

Elmwood House provides outstanding care. It is a very friendly and caring family orientated care home which provides excellent entertainment from craft workshops, gardening clubs, seated exercise classes, sing-a-long sessions plus musicians/singers performing live to the residents. This is such a special place to be and each resident feels very special on their birthday as the chef bakes a homemade cake and banners and balloon set the scene, how nice is that. There is something for everyone including the residents family to enjoy. The staff are all amazing and highly trained in what they do.nothing is too much trouble. The residents regularly go outside and are taken round the gorgeous grounds, including the fishpond. The flowerbeds are beautiful and if you are lucky you will see the odd squirrel or duck. My mum is well looked after and you can see that in her smile. She always looks, clean and tidy. I wouldn't want mum anywhere else. Thank you team Elmwood for everything you do.

Elmwood House Care home is a lovely care home that puts the residents first. It is certainly a home from home.
The staff are all very friendly and care for each resident on an individual basis, getting to know their likes and dislikes.
As a relative the staff are very friendly towards us and are always willing to listen to any concerns and will act on our concerns straight away.
The nurses are very proactive and conscientious which is really reassuring. They know each resident which I feel is very important to understand their health needs.
The manager will always make herself available discuss any concerns and respond positively.

It gives us peace of mind knowing my mother-in-law being so well looked after.

Mum not yet moved in but will be shortly. On our two visits all staff, including maintenance teams have been friendly, polite , reassuring and helpful.
They have reassured me, as well as mum, that she will be well looked after and cared for.
There was a good feeling to the place as soon as we walked in.

I feel.happy knowing that once mum has moved in I won't have to worry about ringing her, getting no answer and wondering what has gone wrong

Elmwood House is truly one of a kind. Although my grandmother's stay was sadly brief, the care she received was nothing short of exceptional. My mum and I were always met with warm, happy faces and tight hugs that never failed to make us feel at ease. The home radiated happiness and love, which was exactly what grandma needed after her long and difficult journey. Despite her weakness, the staff managed to bring an everlasting smile to her face, for which we are forever grateful.

It was a privilege to get to know the staff, and we cannot recommend Elmwood House highly enough. Their kindness towards my grandmother has touched us. It truly is a remarkable place that I would wholeheartedly recommend time and time again!! Thank you so so much!

I would like to thank on behalf of our family all the staff at Elmwood Care home who showed their love, care and understanding in taking care of our mother. It was humbling to witness and feel the genuine care shown throughout our mums stay at the home filled our hearts with peace and gave us the reassurance that our mother was in the right place. Thanks once again to everyone!

Mum lived at Elmwood House for over 6 years, in that time she was well looked after and very happy. The staff were amazing as mum had very complex needs. She was always treated with utmost respect and love, always looked clean and tidy and wanted for nothing. I would totally recommend Elmwood to anyone who is looking for a home for family members.

My Nan moved here aged 97 and stayed here until she died recently at 102 years old. She was so well cared for, and loved in this home - it was the absolute best thing we did for her. All the staff without exception were kind, gentle, funny and loving. Nan had so many hugs and kisses on her birthdays (particularly her 100th). When she had her funeral, we drove the funeral hearse passed the home on the way to the crematorium, and lots of the staff and some residents, were stood outside the gates, waving and then clapping us passed. All of them were in tears. Nan was not only well fed, entertained, kept clean and well in Elmwood - she truly was loved as well.

I'm very happy with the care my Dad receives at Elmwood House. All his needs are being met by the caring staff. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and there is a lovely atmosphere within the home. There are plenty of well being activities for the residents to take part in, although my Dad's condition limits his participation in some of these. There are also regular social get togethers for residents, staff and relatives, often with entertainment, which are enjoyed by everyone.

My mother-in-law was only at Elmwood House for a brief time before passing away. However, it was long enough for us to acknowledge how wonderful and caring every member of staff was to her and us as a family. The newly renovated home is cosy and comfortable and every aspect of the facilities encourages a home-from-home atmosphere. We cannot praise the staff enough for the care and respect along with hug hugs for us at the end. Many thanks to the family at Elmwood.

As a family, we were very happy with the care my grandad received. He said to us, on many occasions, how nice everyone was. We know he felt safe and cared for. All staff were very welcoming and friendly. The home felt very clean, inviting and warm and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. We always felt that Grandad was in good hands, which was a huge relief for us knowing he was safe 24/7. I have already recommended Elmwood House Care Home to other family and friends.
