The care my dad has received has been of a very good standard. The staff are caring and thoughtful, one particular young man has shown Dad very genuine concern and commitment to all his needs which we found commendable for such a young man.
My mother-in-law seems to be very well looked after. I am very happy with her care. Staff are very friendly.
Staff are always friendly when I visited, Nan is treated with dignity and care. Carers are always smiling and warm. The manager is kind and patient, answers all questions quickly. My nan loves Elmwood House Care Home.
My friend has been in Elmwood for the last 4 weeks. Staff are kind and helpful to her. They bring her outside for fresh air and the manager has hot chocolate with her. All kind and caring people. Thank you so much.
She is happy and very well.
My mother-in-law and father-in-law love it here. They sit out every day. Good care given.
Mum and Dad are both at Elmwood House Care Home. I am very happy with their care and the nurses, carers and manager are all kind and lovely. Both Mum and dad have settled in and like it here.
We have been very pleased with how our mother was looked after and treated with respect. We were always contacted regarding our mother, how she was and how she was going; it was really good to be kept in touch. When visiting Mum, she always looked clean and well-dressed. Thanks, everyone, very much for looking after our mum.
I was visiting my mother from about July 2022. I found everything about Elmwood House excellent, the staff were always polite and helpful. Excellent service all around.
My dad was only in the home for a few days but he was well cared for. Everyone was so nice and kind, especially the new manager. My dad was treated with dignity, and kindness and his needs were met from admission to the time he passed.
My husband has been at the nursing home for seven weeks and in that time he has been shown nothing but kindness and dignity. Everybody has been wonderful to him. Also, everybody has been wonderful to me too.
I find Elmwood House as being very friendly, clean and all persons are most caring, nothing is too much trouble for them.
My father was admitted to this came home just over 2 years ago, after visiting many care homes this one was the best for our father. Since my father has been here he has been well looked after, the staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. In the future, I would be happy to recommend Elmwood House to family and friends.
Elmwood Care Home is beautifully run, and I have been extremely happy here. The staff are very pleasant. Food very varied and home-cooked. Well organised and lots of activities.
Just wish I could visit more than now.
This is an excellent home in all aspects of care, cleanliness and comfort. I would recommend this nursing home to anyone.
Nice place. Friendly staff. Mum seems happy enough and well looked after.
The care home is very good and I would recommend it to anyone who would be looking for a home for themselves or relatives.
My mother-in-law came in for respite after a new hip. The care she received in the two weeks she stayed here was second to none. The food was good, the carers really did care and the home was very comfortable. She came home in good health without the need for home care. My mum-in-law is 92 and had gone she gone home directly from hospital it could easily have been a different story.
Very good, no bother. Very jolly and happy.
