A dedicated and experienced team is passionate about providing first-class 24-hour nursing care and residential care, alongside expert care for people with dementia in the Memory Lane Community. They also offer respite care for short breaks.

Located in Grantham, Newton House is a single storey purpose-built home with extensive garden areas planted with seasonal plants, fruit and vegetables. Centrally situated for friends and relatives to visit, at any time of the day, and they believe you will find they're ideally suited to meet your needs - both now and in the future.

A team of highly-qualified and attentive staff really focus on the individual needs of all residents with a tailored care plan for each person. I have been in Newton House Care Home since January 2017 visiting my wife. I cannot find any reason for complaining about the home. The staff and carers are excellent and the home is kept extremely clean.

My friend has been a resident since late last year. I definitely think the care has improved in the last 6 months. When my friend was admitted no rehab seemed available so he very quickly became unable to walk and then bedridden. The staff have always been very kind to him and he always appears clean
and comfortable as possible.

My wife has settled in well at Newton House. The home is clean and bright and the food is very good. The staff are really kind and very supportive of her illness. The activities team are great, planning regular events and outings which she really enjoys. We enjoy a coffee in the café and the homemade
biscuits are absolutely moreish. I visit the home daily and I receive a friendly welcome from everyone. Thank you.

My husband spent 10 months as a resident in Newton House. He was always showed dignity and respect and we grew to treat Newton House as our home. I spent 6 hours a day with my husband and the staff, sometimes working under great pressure, always found the time to give support to both me and my husband.
The nursing care at the end was second to none and I will be extremely grateful to Newton House.

'Barchester Newton House Care Home' staff have provided an exceptional service for my mother. Staff nurses and care assistants have demonstrated a kind, compassionate and diligent approach towards my mother at all times and during what has been a difficult time, they have gone the extra mile in trying
to make my mother comfortable now she is at the end of her life. I have been deeply touched by the high levels of professionalism shown and the genuine kindness of these caring and committed workers. Day time staff such as the staff nurses have also shown these amazing qualities not to mention the cleaners and kitchen staff. I am and will remain eternally grateful for this group of dedicated staff and take comfort for knowing good people who have looked after my mother so well.

My father was extremely poorly and since being in this wonderful place has put over a stone in weight on. The meals are fantastic and a choice too. The place is very welcoming, in fact home from home. Bedroom is comfortable and always kept clean. Clothes are regularly laundered and I am 100% happy with
the care. Also various activities bring residents close together.

Hi, my name is Sonia, and I am the General Manager here at Newton House care home. Welcome to our website!

I have worked for the healthcare sector for many years and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the home. I like to build strong working relations with the team and stakeholders involved.


Quality of care that all my residents receive is my passion and I aim to ensure that all the residents in my care receive the best and most person centred care possible.

Sam Holt

Job Title: Head of Community Joined: 2017

Sam has been a member of the Newton House family for seven years and has worked in care for thirty years. She describes working on Memory Lane and wishing to better the lives of those touched by dementia as her calling.


She loves spending time with and getting to know our residents, she enjoys being a part of such a friendly and supportive team of colleagues.


In her spare time, Sam loves to Crochet, she has four children and plans on adding a puppy to her family in the near future.

Tina Biggins

Tina has been a part of the Newton for nearly 30 years and takes an immense sense of pride in her role.


She loves being a part of the team in the home and helping our residents.


In her spare time she enjoys being a local cubs and scouts leader .

Charlotte

Charlotte Yates

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2013

Charlotte is proud to hold the role of Deputy Manager at Newton House, she has been with the home since 2013.


Starting as a newly qualified nurse and then becoming head of community on Castlegate before beginning her new role as Deputy Manager.


She speaks highly of the feeling of being part of a larger family in the home, embracing her colleagues, residents and family members.


Charlotte's passion lies in Memory Lane and wanting to enrich the lives of those touched by dementia.


Away from Newton House, Charlotte enjoys spending time with her family including her three daughters, and two dogs, going for walks and enjoying reading and cooking.

Margaret

Margaret Campbell

Job Title: Head of Community Joined: 2009

Margaret has been a member of the Newton House family since 2009 and in that time she has been a much-cherished nurse and the Head of Community on Brownlow.


Margaret loves being a part of the Memory Lane Community and making a real difference in our residents' lives, whilst supporting their families and loved ones. She finds her role at Newton House to be incredibly rewarding.


In her spare time, Margaret enjoys yoga, and going for walks, in particular at Belton House where she is a member of the National Trust. Margaret loves to spend time with her family and her grown-up children.

My name is Hazel has been a proud part of the Newton House family since May 2024. I have been a qualified nurse for over 10 years. I am extremely passionate in delivering exceptional palliative end of life care and love been part of the Newton House Family.
