Priory Court Care Home - Avery Healthcare

My mum spent six months as a resident after a number of respite stays. The care and support she received was excellent. Sadly she passed away in March but the care was absolutely wonderful everyone was so supportive of us also. I can’t thank them enough. This home is so friendly and welcoming and would recommend to anyone looking for a care home for a loved one.

The manager is happy to talk with relatives/friends as is the deputy manager.

Mum entered Priory Court for respite care having been discharged from hospital but not able to cope at home. Within weeks she had made the decision that she would rather stay, loving life and her new friend, rather than returning home. She still enjoys independence but is safe, secure, entertained and, above all, has no worries as everything she needs, and more, are all on hand. The staff are lovely, caring and thoughtful.

My mother is very happy at this care home and very content. The carers are lovely and friendly, always willing to help and talk through any concerns I have. The food is great and the staff and management are lovely and friendly. Always willing to listen and help the families of residents.

My aunt-in-law was admitted to Priory Cour after a fall at home. The moment my aunt was admitted she was made to feel welcome and part of the family. All the staff, from management to the cleaning staff, were very friendly and helpful. The meals were great. The staff enabled my aunt to regain her confidence and was able to return home.

Priory Court is an excellent care home. It is always clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The residents are very well cared for, both physically and mentally. During this Covid pandemic, the staff have been amazing, always going that extra mile to ensure everyone's safety. I highly recommend this care home.

I could not have chosen a better home to have come to. It is homely, has good food to eat and very comfortable all round and they have all of the staff made my life so much better and have made me a 'nearly new man' for which I thank all the staff.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with friendly and happy staff who knew who we were and who we were visiting. The visit couldn't have been smoother, the facilities are excellent and it was an absolute pleasure. I can't thank the staff enough for the care and attention given to my grandparents.

Firstly, we were greeted like old friends. My mum was immediately put at ease by the friendliness of everyone we met. It's quite daunting leaving a loved one with strangers, but I felt reassured that she would be well looked after. An amazing home from home, with wonderful staff and manager, all have been fantastic.

I stayed at Priory Court Care Home recently for two weeks of complete rest after a series of hospital stays. I was exhausted when arrived, but thanks to a more comfortable room, delicious and nourishing food and kindness and care, I was able to return home, where I live on my own, refreshed and revitalised after two weeks.

I am 100% happy with the care my mother receives at Priory Court. The staff are wonderful, and I feel I never have to worry about my mother, which is so important to me. My mother always looks well, and I know that she is well cared for.

This home is amazing, they take good care of the people and they are so nice it is the best care home I have ever been to. You can take your family there because all the staff are really nice and the manager is amazing.

My Aunt has been living at Priory Court for the past few months. The staff have been brilliant, and have worked really hard to ensure she has settled and been able to keep in touch with us with visits using screens. I was really worried how she would settle in generally, and right now, that is even scarier, but she acts like it’s home already and that is down the very capable and caring staff. I can’t thank them enough.

I’m so glad we decided on this care home for my mother-in-law; she absolutely loves it here. The staff are so friendly, and the management is always so approachable. I would recommend Priory Court to anyone.

My dear friend of 30 years has recently moved into this fabulous establishment. Despite the ongoing Covid restrictions, all staff have been marvellous at allowing contact via telephone and video thingy wherever possible. Thoroughly Wonderful!

Wonderful residential home that really does go the extra mile.

Nothing is too much trouble and the Covid measures in place by the team make my family and I happy that our uncle is looked after in a safe environment.

The home manager has also been amazing when dealing with some unique requests we have had in the past and has facilitated Zoom calls when we were unable to visit.

From the first day, Priory Court has treated my father with kindness and compassion. I've been very impressed with the way Priory Court has dealt with the COVID restrictions, setting up covered areas in the gardens throughout the summer and giving us the access to visit every week. All staff I've met are very warm, friendly and professional. The most refreshing thing about Priory Court is that any issue is resolved without drama. Obviously, I can't give a full review because I've not been able to see inside but the rooms I can see look very well appointed and very clean. My father is very fussy and he has not found much to complain about and he gives the food a big thumbs up. I just want to say a big thank you to the homes manager and her team.

My parents have been very happy and extremely well looked after at Priory Court for over 2 years now and they definitely say the same! The wonderful staff and management know them so well and meet their every need which is so reassuring for all the family too. They have arranged garden visits during lockdown and beyond which has been very special and now arranging indoor visits for the changing season. We would not hesitate to recommend this home! Thank you so much for all you do to make their days as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

My Relative has been a Resident at Priory Court for several months now. During this time the Staff and Management have gone the extra mile to provide a safe environment for her and I have been very reassured with the care she has been given. We have been able to visit over recent weeks and it has been lovely to see her in the gardens. She has settled well and tells me that nothing is too much trouble for the staff. She is not a good eater but has enjoyed her meals and the choices available.
