My sister suffered from Parkinson's and had excellent care from the staff who went above their duty. They were cheerful, friendly and helpful.
Hopefully, this will improve in the next couple of months.
Pleased with new temporary management and hoping trend will continue elsewhere.
We miss your mum dearly here at Priory Court.
We have made positive steps with recruitment and have welcomed new staff into the team.
Appreciate the feedback.
My wife is in Priory Court and since she has been in she has had excellent treatment, staff go the extra mile to make my wife happy. My wife sees the staff as good friends. The staff are so lovely and friendly to me when I visit. My wife is so much better what a wonderful job the home has done.
It is our pleasure to care for your wife and we value the trust and kindness you show to the staff when you visit.
Thank you again.
It is now four months since my mother passed away. Her last month in the local hospital, not the care home. Prior to her going to the hospital the care at Priory Court was very variable. Individually staff were lovely but together the care was less than perfect. As a 95-year-old, almost blind, deaf and poor mobility, it wasn't right she waited often 29-30 minutes for the bell to be answered if she needed the bathroom. Once she fell out of bed trying to do it herself and it was an hour before anyone checked. A bed with sides would have been appropriate. No effort was made with her dietary needs nor was checks made she had drunk enough liquid.
Dear Diana,
I am sorry to hear you had not been satisfied with the service at Priory Court in March of this year, since such time we have made considerable changes to the daily management of fluids and call bells. We always welcome feedback as this assists us to review the service and make changes when appropriate.
Thank you kindly
I was a resident for 7 days to recover from a road traffic accident. This was a nice environment in which to rest and recover. Staff were very kind to me.
The food is second to none, delicious. Arrangements are available for pedicures, manicures and hair care. Also, care for all clothes.
Priory Court has a welcoming, homely feel to it. The residents' wants and needs are addressed as swiftly as possible. All staff I encounter on a day to day basis are hardworking and dedicated to providing good care and creating a safe, comfortable place to be.
We were reluctant to put our mother into full-time care but had run out of other options. Priory Court has exceeded our expectations. The staff are wonderful in the care and love they offer to our mother. They are supportive and helpful to me and my brother also.
My auntie receives good care and I find all the staff no matter what their roll to be helpful and considerate.
I found the staff very welcoming friendly creating a fun atmosphere for everyone on Christmas Day. The Christmas dinner in the fine dining room was very good the pudding was excellent, the service was first rate.
This is the gold standard in care. I moved my lovely mum in law to Priory Court through neglect at her previous care home. The difference is truly amazing. The staff are superb, everything in their power is done to stimulate the residents. Exemplary care in every sense. Bravo, good people at Priory Court. All deserve the utmost praise.
I believe my auntie is receiving good care. They are on the whole, good staff.
As a paying resident, I think they should be allowed to smoke in the garden where they so choose.
A good care home. Mum's happy being here. Lovely staff, free drinks for guests.
Very clean and friendly atmosphere all around. Meals are well catered and punctual. Activities are updated weekly and appear to have a great response.
A very good residence for my 'uncle' who is well respected by helpful, friendly staff. Good food too and excellent medical support.
It is always a pleasure to visit Priory Court. The welcome at reception is warm and all staff very pleasant. The home is well kept and stylish.
Daily entertainment program incorporating all festivals and celebrations with quality musicians and singers. Highly recommended, my dad has been in 4 nursing homes over the years and this is the absolute best.
We phoned prior to making a long distance visit to a friend who has recently moved there and were most impressed to find we were expected when we arrived the following day. The welcome was warm and friendly, we were escorted to our friend's room and immediately offered a hot drink. An excellent first impression. We have experience of visiting many care homes but the spaciousness and quality of Priory Court and it's furniture and fittings is more in keeping with a high-quality hotel. The resident's rooms are larger than most, well decorated and equipped including a wet room. When leaving we were offered a tour and were impressed to see the spacious dining room, the private dining room for residents, parties and the cinema room with its sweet store! All the staff we met were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. We feel our friend could not be in a better place and are confident that she will be well cared for.
The home does wonderful things and has made a big difference to my wife. The care is excellent and also the friendships. Even the little things that is done for me. My wife has advanced Parkinson's with a severe disability but even at times like my Birthday, Valentines, Wedding Anniversary and Christmas, some members have gone to the trouble of getting a card for me and putting it from my wife. I have never found out who gets them but it means so much to us.
