Our mum was moved here on 27th December 2016 until she passed away on 29th February 2016. The care, love and compassion received by both our mum and ourselves was outstanding. All staff were friendly and welcoming, always has time to talk, no matter what time or how busy they were. Nothing was too much bother for them.
Transferred from K.G.H for rehabilitation and physiotherapy just after Christmas 2015. Room available very comfortable and clean. All staff friendly and helpful, assisted and encouraged now I am able to wash, dress and mobilise short distances independently, still have carer to have showers or baths as I choose. Food menus have choice and I enjoy cooked breakfast, hot dinners and dessert, tea times choices of hot or cold with suppers before settling down at night can have hot drinks as requested. Enjoyed social chats, group activities, music entertainment and 1-1 nail care with activity team.
My friend has been transferred from 'care' to 'nursing care' this month. Nothing appears to have changed with regards to response time to call button e.g 20-30 minutes sometimes and she is still waiting for too long for medication when requested. She has asked the manager to go and speak to her but without response. We are constantly having to pacify her because she feels neglected and made to feel a nuisance with the staff. Our observations are that there are so few staff on duty they are seldom available to help her. Staffing shortages affect both residents and the staff themselves!
I would like to express our thanks for the preparations and decoration by the activities organiser for my mother's 96th birthday celebration. The buffet prepared by the chef and catering staff was excellent and the birthday cake was magnificent. Thank you to all concerned.

Meet the Team (12)

Hello, my name is Chloe, and I am the General Manager here at Claremont Parkway. My journey in healthcare began as a Registered General Nurse (RGN), where I gained specialised experience in stroke rehabilitation and elderly care. In 2020, I transitioned my clinical passion into the care home sector to make a deeper, long-term impact on residents' lives. I joined the Barchester family in 2026 as Deputy Manager, and following my dedication to high standards of care, I was soon promoted to General Manager.
I am incredibly proud to lead our nursing and care teams in delivering safe, effective, and truly person-centred care. My primary ambition is to lead a safe, well-governed, and compassionate home where residents feel valued and empowered to make their own choices. I am deeply committed to enhancing the warm, welcoming family environment and positive atmosphere that already thrives within Claremont Parkway. Open communication is central to everything, and I want to ensure that families feel fully supported, understood, and guided through every transition as their loved ones settle into their new home.
Outside of my professional life, I am very close with my family and love spending quality time with them. I have a passion for exploring the world and aim to visit as many countries and new places as possible. Back at home, you will often find me outdoors enjoying long walks with my three dogs. I am also passionate about charity work and giving back, and I recently challenged myself by completing a 26-mile charity walk around Snowdon in support of Alzheimer’s Society.
I look forward to meeting you all and welcoming you into our home.

Hi! I’m Deepak Sharma, and I’m the deputy manager at Claremont Parkway. I have just recently joined the Barchester Healthcare team and am bringing over 13 years of dedicated nursing and care experience to my role.
My healthcare journey began in India, where I spent six intensive years working in Paediatric and Cardiac intensive care units. In 2019, I relocated to the UK and stepped into health and social care. I started out as a team leader, quickly progressed to a registered nurse once I received my NMC PIN, and then moved into a unit manager role. Before finding my home here at Claremont, I spent over two years building on my leadership skills as a deputy manager.
I am a registered nurse, and I am currently focused on working towards my Level 5 certification in leadership and management to better serve our home. I am deeply hardworking, dedicated, and compassionate. I truly believe in the power of person-centred care, and my ultimate goal is to ensure that every single resident feels completely comfortable, safe, and happy in our home.
When I’m not at work, I love staying active and exploring the outdoors. You can usually find me cycling, travelling to new places, or hiking out in nature. I also have a big passion for cars and love keeping up with everything automotive!
