Kenroyal Nursing & Residential Care Home

My father has been a resident at Kenroyal for just say 3 years. I have nothing but praise for the staff and management of the home. My father is well cared for and other is a genuine sense of community within the home itself. Despite his cognitive issues he gets on well with the staff and seems content. As visitors, my brother and I are always welcomed, offered refreshments and updated on any issues with Dad. We're very secure in the knowledge that he is being well cared for.

My mother has been a resident for some years now. From the first day until now she has always had the best of care at all times. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food is first class and drinks are always at the resident's tables. Communication has been excellent throughout the years. An excellent run home.

My mother was a resident of Kenroyal Nursing & Residential Care Home for nearly 4 years until she passed away on the 7th of September 2023. Throughout that time I have nothing but praise for the home. Under the manager it was always a pleasure to visit, she was always well cared for, clean and comfortable. She passed away suddenly before I could reach her but the manager and her team were with her and were wonderful as always.

My dad was unwell for the last couple of months and has been treated very well by staff and nurses. Always called me at the right time to take the right direction. The staff are so kind and polite with everyone. My dad has been here for the last 4 years and had really good care, never had any issues. I prefer to keep him here.

My family is very pleased with the care home and she is taken care of in all ways possible. This care home is one of the best my mother has been in.

I was very impressed with the care given to my friend. All the residents I noticed were being cared for. His lunch was of a high quality and served to him with patience and care. I find it a very humbling experience visiting Kenroyal because it must be very difficult looking after so many dementia residents which I would never myself have the ability to achieve.

My mum has been in the home for approx 20 months and arrived from the hospital with very little appetite. They were very attentive to her and due to their diligence and care she finally started to eat. They have a very good activity department and all staff are very caring. The nurses are great at spotting any health problems and doctor visits weekly. Spotlessly clean and the food looks appetising and hot.

Well-run nursing home. The staff is helpful and friendly. Mother treated with care and dignity. Nice atmosphere, always made welcome. Home comfortable, clean and well kept. Home-from-home experience. Food is good and plentiful.

I have seen so many changes in my husband since he was transferred from the hospital to this care home Kenroyal. He used to be very agitated when he was in the hospital and not eating well but since he's been here he's calmed down and settled. I believe because he feels at home in Kenroyal. The staff are very caring which has made him settle well. The manager and the staff are always ready to listen to you and advise what you need to do. Their food is also great hence my husband eats well.

Happy with the care in the home. My aunt is happy with the staff and nursing staff. Everyone is very friendly. Very clean.

The home is always clean and well-staffed with staff who are all friendly and welcoming. The food is of a brilliant standard! My gran is always fed the whole of her meal and isn’t rushed. My gran always has clean, fresh clothes on and her hair is always brushed and is clearly showered / bathed most days. Prior to coming to this home, she was in another home within Northamptonshire - Kenroyal took her as an emergency admission and probably saved her life! Thanks guys! Also, I’d like to add that the owner puts on amazing family and carer events with food etc., which is fantastic, thanks Matron!

My mother spent nearly five comfortable years within Kenroyal Nursing & Residential Care Home. Her care was faultless from the day she arrived to the day of her passing. All the staff showed kindness, and empathy and were always there if you needed them. Mum was always treated with care and dignity. There was a lovely atmosphere that seemed to permeate through the staff. The care here is second to none.

Cannot praise enough the care and kindness that was shown to my mum right until she passed peacefully in the home. Would highly recommend.

The residents look well cared for. I visited my friend on her Birthday and the staff had put 'Happy Birthday; banners and balloons around her. We all sang to her and even had a cake supplied by the home. A lovely touch.

The home is clean and pleasantly decorated. Entertainment is regularly supplied along with workshops for residents wishing to get involved. Staff are helpful and professional and very caring and supportive to residents and visitors. Overall it is a very well run home.

If you ever needed help with anything, there was always plenty of staff around and they treated Mum with great care and respect. It was also wonderful that the nursing staff were apparent and approachable.

Kenroyal never disappoints! You step in the door and are greeted by people who know you and who you are visiting. The foyer is bright and the table is decorated for Easter, taking into account all beliefs/religions. My friend has lived here for 5 years and she is well looked after, physically, psychologically, and emotionally. Nothing is too much trouble.

My father-in-law spent his last few months in the care of Kenroyal and I cannot express enough the gratitude we feel as a family for the care he received. The care home was warm and caring, scrupulously clean, and the staff really couldn’t do enough for us. We could rest easy knowing he was being cared for as if he was family. Thank you all for everything you have done for him, and for us.
