Kenroyal Nursing in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire has been set up to ensure a versatile lifestyle for elderly and vulnerable residents with care needs.

The manager and her staff are always very helpful. My wife is sometimes hard to manage, but they are kind to her and she soon settles down and becomes good.
I find that the staff are always helpful to me and any of my family who visit.
I give Kenroyal ten out of ten!

A very friendly and accommodating nursing home, always a warm welcome. My grandad always looks clean and presentable when we visit.
The staff are always happy to answer questions about his care and any problems.

The nursing home is excellent.
Staff are great and are very very good with the residents.
Cannot fault it in any way (perfect).
Very clean and they make sure it is at all times.

My mother was in Kenroyal for the last 14 months of her life. Time I feel she only had due to the care and love she received from all at Kenroyal. They not only cared for mum but the whole family. I cannot thank them enough for everything and would recommend them to all.

The manager took my husband in within a few hours when I was unable to cope with his complex and 24 hour needs. Her staff are well trained - a welcome greeting and always offered tea or coffee. Trained nurses are always in attendance, a Dr makes weekly visits. There is a chiropodist and hairdresser.
My husband is always clean with fresh clothes daily. Every item is well laundered. The manager is approachable, ready to discuss any problem. I am content my husband is in a safe, warm and compassionate environment.

My mother was only at Kenroyal for a couple of weeks after leaving the hospital. She was treated with such care, dignity and respect by all the staff. The manager could not have been more helpful at all times nothing was too much trouble for her.

All as ticked below. I could not believe our luck to find such a lovely nursing home for my mother. It is a lovely home, with an excellent manager. I would have no hesitation to recommend this home and if possible, nominate the manager for a 'special award' that she thoroughly deserves. All delivered
with excellent support from the excellent staff, all managed by the home manager. Thank you.

This is by far the best home my mother has been in. Managers and staff are very friendly and helpful. My mother can be very difficult and demanding but the staff are very patient with her and nothing phases them. The matron cannot do enough for us.

My husband moved to Kenroyal Nursing Home in May 2015. He is well looked after and well settled. The staff are very caring and friendly. We can visit anytime. The food is good and the manager is always ready to help and listen to people's problems. They do various activities which suits all the residents.
They do enjoy all the entertainments as well. On arrival staff always offer drinks to all family and visitors. A very happy atmosphere.

My mother who is close to 96 years of age has been at Kenroyal since June 2017. The care and attention she has received has been excellent. The whole establishment is spotlessly clean, always has a fresh smell, the staff are professional, pleasant and courteous. Not just to us visitors but the way they
care for and nurse my mother.


It has not be a difficult decision for our family to decide this is where our mum will spend her final days. Knowing she will be well cared for and nursed to a very high standard and treated with the dignity she deserves as her time on this earth comes to an end.

I cannot praise Kenroyal enough, they were excellent from start to finish. All the staff greeted you from the start, the care of my wife was outstanding and our well-being was considered at all times, including emotionally. We were catered for throughout the day and night during my wife's stay. Nothing
was too much trouble, we only had to ask.

My father was only a resident at Kenroyal for a short period of time as sadly he has recently passed away. I have been overwhelmed by the exceptional care he received from the Manager and all her team. They continually showed person-centered care and made his last days as comfortable and dignified as
they could. All staff are polite and friendly and provide me with peace of mind at a very difficult time.

The Kenroyal provides dedicated care for my father who at times, can display challenging behaviour due to his condition. The staff are competent, friendly and caring and there is a sense of cohesion where everybody is working together towards making everyone in their care happy and well looked after.
The staff also help relatives by listening to their concerns and assisting accordingly. When I leave my father after visiting, I gain great comfort from believing he has the best care possible I could find for him.

My father-in-law was admitted to Kenroyal, following a lengthy hospital stay, where we were informed he would be able to sit up again! After 24 hours he has been bathed and dressed and was sat up in the lounge area, what a surprise to us. The staff treated him with warmth and understanding, as at times
his dementia made him very confused and sometimes violent.
We couldn't ask for more, he had a lovely room, he was always clean shaven, with regular haircuts to make him very smart, as he would have liked it. A big thank you to all the staff.
