After ten weeks in the hospital, the welcome to Pytchley Court was very warm and caring. The manager and all involved worked well as a team with lots of smiley faces.

The home staff arranged birthday celebrations for my father's 105 year birthday. They also arranged reporters from local press and radio to interview us to celebrate a magnificent 105 year life. Staff at all levels were attentive and brought (nearly) all residents into the lounge to be entertained by a duo of singers. They entertained beautifully. Arrangements were also made for a cake to be presented and distributed among all residents at evening meal time in the dining room. Many thanks to all the staff and management.

My dad has been a resident for four months. The admissions and settling process has been hallmarked by professionalism, efficiency and genuine care. The highly experienced manager sets clear priorities putting the resident's needs first. All the staff I have met are genuinely motivated and clearly empathise with their 'extended family'. They clearly understand the importance of communication, engagement, stimulation and activity to help residents be as happy and comfortable as possible. Other homes may be structurally more modern and expensively appointed but 'A' is the quality of the personal care that is the single most important factor when selecting a home.

My mother was in Pytchley Court Care Home for nearly 2 years. In that time, she received excellent care. All members of staff were very kind and considerate.

In the last weeks of her life, she received outstanding care. The staff were very kind to me during this emotional time. I cannot thank them enough.

Mum was sent here for a 6-8 weeks review from the hospital. Management called me and talked me through what would happen and what to expect. Ongoing care has been very much appreciated and delivered to a very high standard. Mum has almost been a different lady. Happy, easy to talk to and communicate with. Thank you.

My grandmother spent nearly five years in this care home. The care she received was the best we could have wished for. The staff are friendly and caring not only to the residents but to the relatives as well; they often go above and beyond in their roles. The residents are treated as individual people, and time is taken to understand the resident's personalities and individual needs.

We have been very very pleased with the care and compassion that the staff have given to our relative. We gave been able to go away and know they are in safe hands and will be looked after and be safe. We feel that the building is in need of some TLC including a new heating system and new windows and the garden needs a complete makeover so the residents have somewhere to sit in the good weather and enjoy some fresh air.

Overall the care has been excellent and would like to thank the staff for all their hard work.

I was extremely happy with the care my wife received whilst resident in Pytchley Court, nothing was too much trouble. I also was very glad for the support I got from the management and staff. I would have no hesitation in recommending Pytchley Court to anybody looking for a friendly, caring home.

Mum received excellent care from day one when she was downstairs, until the day she died. The staff were all so loving with her and it was warming to see her reaction to them, even at the end she always had a smile for them. Thank you so much for looking after her so well for us.

Sadly my wife died recently having been at Pytchley Court for over two years. Throughout her time there the care has been outstanding. This I believe is due to a team spirit governed by senior management. I am most grateful.

It has become so much more challenging for staff working in care homes since covid and the carers, nurses and support staff at Pytchley Court Care Home worked incredibly hard just to get through an average day. And yet even so, my Dad's care has been great, especially the emotional support he has gotten and staff's efforts to enable us to still see my dad and take him out. We are also grateful for the nursing staff's work with my dad trying to make him as comfortable as possible, with illnesses such as parkinsons and dementia, the answers are never clear cut and there is never a perfect outcome, only to do the best they could for him, which they did.
All staff tried so hard to make my dad's experience as lovely as possible and I know how challenging that must have been under the circumstances of lockdowns.

Carers, nurses, support staff and admin and management all made us feel so welcome and at ease, I couldn't have wished for better, more caring people to be around my dad.

There are not many words to describe our experience of Pytchley Court. But if pushed, phenomenal, springs to mind - excellent is another. The staff work tirelessly to ensure the welfare of the residents is upheld. The home is well run and organised with the staff from top to bottom superb. I personally cannot fault it nor any of my family and would certainly recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

Lovely setting, residents appeared happy and well cared for. The staff were welcoming and had an excellent insight into the individual needs of the residents.

The resident I visited appeared happy, he looked very well, dressed and had a haircut. The staff were very aware of his likes and dislikes and how to engage with him.

My mother was a resident at the home from 1/11/21 until her death on 23/03/22. I cannot praise the staff enough for the great care that my mother received. For the last three weeks, mum was on end of life care. During this time, the staff were amazing, both to my mum and in the care and support they gave me and other members of mum's family. A wonderful team of people, so dedicated, caring and just 'lovely'. Thank to them all.

I just wanted to recognise the activities co-coordinator for the way she passionately cares so much and understands the residents' needs. The way she goes about her care is exemplary and really feel she should be recognised. I have been in other care homes and have never seen such a "caring family home" this is clearly enhanced by the staff within it.

The most important thing about Pytchley Court Care Home is the evident care and love displayed by the staff, not just to my uncle but to me as well. Also, the material things are delivered as well. Pytchley is not a luxury home what they did was always to the best standard - food, rooms, activities, and cleanliness.
