Fees at Charnwood Care Home are reviewed annually, or earlier if there is a significant change in care needs, a change in funding arrangements, or following a request to move to a different room within the home. Full details can be found in the relevant terms and conditions.

The fees above provides indicative top-up amounts, based on an initial needs assessment. These figures are intended as a general guide only, and all fee discussions will be held on an individual basis.

For residents receiving funding from a Local Authority or the NHS, a top-up contribution may be required. This helps cover the difference between the amount funded and the care home’s fees.

Top-up payments are typically made by a third party, often a relative. This will be clearly discussed and agreed in advance.

The final fee will depend on several factors, including:

The individual's assessed care needs
The type and length of stay (e.g. short-term or permanent)
The size and facilities of the chosen room

All fees will be confirmed and agreed prior to admission. For more details, please refer to our terms and conditions or contact the home directly.

Spoke to the activities co-ordinator, now we appreciate how difficult it is to encourage my mum to take part in the activities. We are happy that trouble is taken with mum and that she does take more part than we thought. I have seen the activities co-ordinator in a different uniform so it's really disappointing that when staff is short she is taken off activities!!!

Activities is a lot better now than it was before. Bedrooms need to be decorated and new furniture. Staff to take more care of people's possessions. Messages need to be clearly written down.

The home is very homely and welcoming and the staff are very caring and friendly. My mum/dad settled in very quickly and are happy and feel safe. The meals are good and varied, staff will always keep family informed and up to date. There are lots of different activities that they can join in if they wish. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone.

I am satisfied with the care my brother gets, there is a nice feeling to the home and carers are very nice. My brother is settled and likes living in the home which says a lot. The staff are always friendly and very helpful you don't want much more than that.
