Hazelgrove Care Home

I find the home to be very welcoming, friendly, clean with an amazing atmosphere.

My mother in law is so happy with the care. She has made good friends. Management are always there to assist and help. All staff are available when needed. She gained weight and is able to walk again. She doesn't spend time in her bedroom because she likes to talk to everyone. Overall, excellent care! Environment is clean and the food has loads of choices.

I am very happy with this care home. My brother is well looked after and all the staff are wonderful.

The staff and management have been lovely, warm and welcoming. I have always felt happy and safe here. They all have been helpful and always welcoming, smiling and asking if we need anything, even making the children welcome. I love the way the residents are cared for and involved in daily activities, the best choice I made.

On my first visit to Hazelgrove Care Home, I was quickly aware of an enveloping air of a warm atmosphere. The numbers and attitudes of care staff are outstanding features. The example set by management is key. There is a consistency of patience and good humour amongst the entire team. My sister is settled and contented. She speaks affectionately of carers' attention to detail. She speaks affectionately too of the opportunities for individual and group stimulation. None of her family have worries about her physical, psychological or medical welfare.

The care my dad received at Hazelgrove Care Home was just the best, the dignity, respect, compassion, the carers, the nurses and management team were just brilliant. I found peace knowing Dad was in safe and capable hands. Dad was comfortable and pain-free. Thank you so much to each and every one of you, love to you all.

The care and compassion you gave to my husband was outstanding. You treated all the family with care and dignity at all times.

My experience is good. The lounge is excellent. Comfortable chairs and cleanliness is excellent. Health care is excellent, two-way conversation if a problem arises. Staff and managers are great. The meals are good, just about the right size.

My mum has had a new lease of life since being at Hazelgrove. She is happy and joins in with all the daily activities - no more panic attacks and trips to A&E. The staff are all very attentive, treating everyone as individuals. Excellent activities lead, always organising activities such as quizzes, crafts, games, baking, book club and many more. Management are very friendly and approachable. Food is excellent and caters to individual tastes. Furnishings are like home from home. We are very lucky to have been offered a place at Hazelgrove.

Hazelgrove is a fantastic care home. Staff are amazing and have a lovely warm, caring and fun attitude. The activities they put on are brilliant. Thank you so much. My relative is so happy living at the home and the staff are a family for her.

Hazelgrove is simply fantastic. My mum is so happy living here. The staff/carers are brilliant, very kind and always make such great efforts to make everyday special. We are very lucky to have mum living here, she has never been happier.

They go on plenty of trips and do lots of different concerts. My mum has really settled in thanks to all there.

The only reason I felt obliged to give the room 4 stars, was they are not ensuite but Mum's is absolutely lovely and an ensuite was not necessary anyway!

A brilliant care home with excellent management and staff. It's a real pleasure to visit my friend every week and see the happy atmosphere and how well looked after my friend is! Highly recommend!
