Hazelgrove is a purpose-built Care Home set in easily accessible gardens close to the town of Hucknall.

At Hazelgrove residents are cared for in a Homely environment with carers and nurses working alongside the residents, their families and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes.   

Activities at Hazelgrove are varied, ranging from riverboat trips and walks in the park, to karaoke, keep-fit classes, carpet boules and bingo in the main lounge. Residents wanting to relax can enjoy watching the fish in the large tank or can visit the cosy reminiscence lounge lovingly decorated to evoke memories of yester-year.

Resident’s and their families can also enjoy the carefully designed patio garden which includes a sensory garden and reminiscence area – a wonderful, therapeutic feature for those with Dementia.

My mum has been here for around 2 months. Every time I visit no matter what time of day it is everyone is busy in some way. They do some wonderful activities, eg. painting, crafts, helping with cleaning. They even have their own choir.
The carers are lovely, very attentive, polite, and do a wonderful
job. The rooms are beautifully decorated and kept nice and clean.
They go on plenty of trips and do lots of different concerts. My mum has really settled in thanks to all there.

Awesome! a fantastic team of genuinely caring people!
If you are looking for a care home, visit Hazelgrove first. This is the one you should set your standards by. The genuine care by all the staff at Hazelgrove stands out from the minute you enter. Just listening to how the staff interact with patients
and each other, listening to the love, laughter and singing (lots of singing) makes it such a happy, warm and welcoming place.
I live 125 miles away and knowing that Mum is safe, happy and being well cared for was paramount! At 97, despite illness, Mum is enjoying a new lease of life (as evidenced by Hazelgrove's social media page!). Thank you so much Team Hazelgrove!
The only reason I felt obliged to give the room 4 stars, was they are not ensuite but Mum's is absolutely lovely and an ensuite was not necessary anyway!

After a long decline in her own home suffering multiple falls and terrible anxiety then hospital for over 3 months we were more than just worried what lay ahead for Mum! We made an unplanned visit to Hazelgrove, it was a friendly, warm, loving, caring place to be with, lots of involving activities for
residents and happy staff all clear to see. We did not think we would see Mum laugh, dance, and smile again! But after only two months of being part of Hazelgrove family Mum is doing all of those things and more. She is as happy as can be and so are we.
I feel I am Mum's son once again. Thank you Hazelgrove.

Outstanding - never thought we would find a care home with such great, caring people, all the staff are so happy in their work. The manager is always available to support the staff, visits, and residents.
My mum has settled in really well and enjoys joining in all the activities, it is so good to see
my mum so happy.
It's definitely a Hazelgrove family.

My sister has resided in this care home for three years and the love and attention has been absolutely great. Helps me so much to be aware of that. Took a lot of worry away from me.
During the last week of her life when she was not aware of anything the love and care was amazing always watching over

What a lovely atmosphere - cannot get over the care and attention of everyone. My friend has been made welcome and has been involved with activities and is now one of the family and has a permanent smile. From staff, cleaners, carers, management and kitchen, the standard is first class - immaculate.
Cannot wait to visit soon and meet my new friends.

My first impression on seeing Hzaelgrove Care home was excellent. I couldn't believe how many staff were on duty and so welcoming to us my brother was very comfortable and settled which was all new to him and to us. It was a bit overwhelming to see how content he looked, the amount of care given whilst
we were there was excellent. The staff are very committed to their care roles and I would certainly recommend Hazelgrove Care Home to anyone looking for a warm, friendly caring home, I am extremely happy with everything and especially for my brother residing there.

On visiting the home I found the staff and management to be very welcoming, caring and knowledgeable. Treating the residents with dignity, there always seems to be something going on with the residents and staff involved. Overall it's a very happy place and very well run.

I have lived here for some years, but I now feel a lot happier. As we now have a new manager who is making well needed changes and it's a lot better environment for everyone. I said she is the best thing that could have happened to Hazelgrove Care Home.

I have multiple sclerosis and find life very challenging. Hazelgrove Care Home have helped me immensely. I have no family and my husband passed away last July. He was my main carer and so I came into Hazelgrove where I look at the staff and residents as my family now.

We have never seen my wife so happy and safe, the two previous care homes were very poor. It ended with my wife back in the hospital after just one day. She had seven falls in one day and was taken back to hospital where she received one to one care for 24 hours per day. Hazelgrove staff and setting
are very secure for my wife.
