All the staff give excellent care to my dad. I have peace of mind knowing that he is well looked after. There is always plenty going on, you can be involved as much or as little as liked, pampering sessions, hair dressers, group activities or one to one etc. All the staff are friendly and approachable.
The home is well run with a great manager, the home is very clean and the food menu has a good variety. Thank you to all the staff for looking after my dad so well.

My partner is very well looked after in The Royal Care Home. The staff are very dedicated and nice people. Anything I need to know, I just ask 2 members of staff who are the care home management. The Royal is very clean and tidy, not smelly like most I've visited.

Mum is like a changed person since going to The Royal Care Home. All the staff are lovely with her, she's eating food she's never eaten before and loving it. I live in Australia and my dad was in The Royal Care Home for nearly 12 months. Before passing a few days before Christmas.
I called frequently and emailed as well, and the staff were so lovely and accommodating and helpful. I had a few regular nurses and admin staff I spoke to and they were wonderful.
I couldn't fault the staff, after all, they are what make a care home wonderful. They are angels looking after our relatives and can't thank them enough. They all deserve a pay rise.
The menu was great, always such lovely food and a great range. I saw this while visiting dad from Australia.
While there, I felt the staff were always so busy and felt for them as it's a big responsibility, they all deserve pay rises.

Staff are great, cleanliness is great, food could be improved with a better budget for the cook, I think the agency staff aren't very good and let the standards regarding nursing slip. Overall the care home is great and staff are great the company should get extra staff and a better budget for them
as they deserve it. Staff go above requirements of the job, even doing the garden each year. Would and do recommend.

The Royal has been outstanding in their care for my sister. It is very well run and managed. The carers are without exception trained to a high standard and I've seen nothing but kindness towards my sister who needs total care. They take time to try and understand her needs even though she struggles
with her speech. There is a good selection of food at meal times and alternatives offered. They have a space chair and hoist so are able to offer showers and bath. The rooms and other areas are kept spotlessly clean. Overall I think the management and staff deserve the highest praise for their commitment to the comfort of their patients.

My mother received excellent care at the nursing home, from management, nurses, carers, a cook and a handyman, all involved in her care. They were all pleasant and dedicated to their job and I can't thank them enough.

I have power of attorney and I'm next of kin for a lady I've looked after for 15 years, she is 87 and had to go into a nursing home as she's a bit poorly and had carers at home for quite a long time but had safeguarding issues. The care was shocking so we changed to a different company, a lot better
but not to the standard it should be so I was advised to look for somewhere my friend could go for 24-hour care. I chose The Royal at Rossington, so glad I did, my friend is so comfortable and well cared for, nothing is too much trouble, she has a lovely pleasant room, she said the food is very good and told me I'm not coming home with you, I'm staying in this hotel. My friend after all these years has finally got what she rightfully deserves, expert care and compassion and the most important thing love so thank you everyone, my friend is happy and so am I.

Although extremely busy, staff were caring, friendly and always treated our mum with dignity and respect. Any concerns that we raised were dealt with quicky and effectively. Family and friends that visited were always made to feel welcomed. The onsite hairdressers and activities program are fully inclusive.
We also enjoyed attending the resident and community coffee morning held on a Thursday.

I think it’s generally ok, but sometimes the staff seem a little too busy and overworked. Everyone seems friendly and polite. Not too happy about patients wandering in and out of my mum's room. However, I realise it’s hard to stop this.

The Royal is an excellent home. From hairdressing to entertainment. Meals are also excellent. Staff very caring. Couldn’t ask for anything better for my mother. I would definitely recommend this care home.

My father was a resident at The Royal for about 2 years until he passed away on 07/10/2023. During my visits he would always comment on how well the staff looked after him. I was impressed that staff upon my arrival would ask if I wanted to see my father in his room or day lounge or indeed the cabin
out in the garden. The cabin was my favourite place to spend time with my father. Any queries I raised were always answered promptly. My father enjoyed his time at The Royal and the staff must take full credit for that.
Following my father's death I was contacted immediately by a staff member and I can only thank the staff who greatly assisted in his transfer to the funeral company's chapel of rest. The Royal is professionally operated by very competent staff and I cannot thank them enough for the care of my father in his final years.

This care home is run to a high standard and has all the facilities needed to provide excellent care. The staff are extremely caring and the residents always look happy. There is a great activities program and all the residents are included in this no matter of any disability or health issues they may
have.
The home is always clean and I always feel welcome when visiting.
I would have every confidence in the staff and manager of The Royal should I need a care facility for members of my own family.

My mother is a resident at this home since February and I only have praise for the home. They are very welcoming and accommodating. My mother has very challenging behaviour at times and a lot of care needs due to her Alzheimer’s and the staff go above and beyond to meet all her needs. All are very friendly
and caring to her and the family. They are also very good with my father who has found my mother needing to be in care very difficult. The home has a lovely garden for residents and family to use. There are always activities and events going on. My mother also likes to get her hair and nails done at their salon.
