Since my mum was welcomed into St Catherine's care home on New Years day 2016 she has been cared for with the upmost respect and dignity. All the staff at St Catherine's are extremely friendly and helpful to both residents and visitors. I am so happy that our family found St Catherine's to care for my mum long term. Quite a distance from the family home town but well worth the travelling time usually around four visits per week.

My mother has been treated with dignity and respect from day one. She has been at St Catherines for about 5 years. Her faculities are impaired but the staff treat her flights of vivid imagination with humour and understanding. She loves the food which the home provides and is given the right amount. Her room feeld lke a safe space to her, and we, her family, have easy access to her. She says it would grieve her to leave and she needs to know where she is going to sleep.

My aunt unfortunately was only in the care home for one week before passing away, during that time I found the staff to be very caring and helpful. Her bedroom was spacious and well appointed. Overall I found St Catherine's to be satisfactory, clean and friendly.

Staff appear very caring to residents even if not sitting with residents they are instantly aware if needed of if someone is upset. Pleasant approach when speaking to residents and very responsive to me and my family when visiting. They do try to make the atmosphere as cheerful as possible. We are pleased with the appearance of mums room recently keeping it neat and organising her odds and ends. Mum is also dressed well and looks fine.

My friend moved into St Catherines following a major stroke and several weeks in hospital. I arrived unannounced. The staff member who answered the door was friendly and welcoming. She escorted me to my friends room. Despite my friends serious condition she was immaculate. Her hair combed and she appeared to have a hint of makeup (very important to her normally). Her bed was impeccable and although she was barely conscious she was totally relaxed and very comfortable she looked angelic almost as though she was in her heaven on earth. There appeared to be a clip board on her bed side cabinet, presumably for the staff to record her condition. The entire ambience was incredible and very impressive, I left knowing my friend was receiving unbeatable care and attention.

My mother came here for what turned out to be her final 10 weeks on this earth following a stroke. My family cannot thank the staff enough for the care they showed not just to my mother, but to all residents, treating them all personally with great care, warmth, respect and dignity. It is of great comfort that my mother was cared for in this way and that staff where with her by her side when she suddenly slipped away.

My brother and I regularly visited my mother and the staff where always quick to welcome us, provide an update on our mothers health and to discuss any concerns.

We would have no reservations in recommending St Catherine's having experienced the care my mother received. All the staff where a credit to their profession and we cannot begin to thank them all enough.

Excellent care, no complaints at all. All of the staff are excellent and care more than just a job. They helped me through a very tough time when my Uncle was in there and even after he had died they genuinely cared for me which was lovely. They are very gifted lovely caring kind people. I cannot thank them enough. The care my uncle got was as good as a 5 star hotel but it is the care my uncle got that was so lovely and genuine. Cant fault them at all.
