Rose Court Care Home

The Makaton was well attended and the staff member has put a great deal of thought into offering light-up items to help residents participate. Very different but a good activity to introduce to residents.

Her medical requirements have been well monitored and there has been good communication between the staff and mum's family.

My husband has advanced dementia and has been a resident at Rose Court for just over 3 months now We were both made to feel very welcome from the start. The kindness and caring quality was apparent from the first day. All the staff are very helpful and friendly, and we are treated with mutual respect and dignity. His room is very nice and we can decorate it to make it feel more homely for him. He took quite a while to settle in, but thanks to the patience and kindness of the staff, he is now settled in and is very happy. I am also very happy, knowing he is being well cared for.

We could not praise Rose Court Care Home more highly, my Father was a resident there for a short while before he passed away, the care he received was amazing and the support we were given was outstanding. The home is lovely and the staff were something else, they all took the time to get to know my dad and us and we will be forever grateful to them.

All the staff are excellent and make my Mother-in-law feel very happy and safe. Nothing is too much trouble for all of the staff. Amenities are excellent and all of the activities in the care home and outside are brilliant. Can't thank the staff enough.

My Mum moved to Rose Court in July 2024. This is our first experience of a care home and what a fabulous place Rose Court is. All the staff from carers to cleaners are the most kindest beautiful people. The entertainment team works incredibly hard and it pays off in everything they do. The facilities are excellent and a nice variety of rooms for visiting families to use.

The staff have been very caring and understanding towards Mum. They give the impression that they know my mother very well in the little things they do for her and I am very happy that she is included in several activities.

My mum was accepted as a resident when she was in a very poor state of mental health due to acute Alzheimer's. I have no doubt that her behaviour was extremely challenging when she first went to live there, and my family were very grateful that she was accepted onto the Harmony Unit initially and she was given such amazing care that she actually got through the worst of her behavioural issues and became so much calmer and happier that she was able to be moved onto Nightingale Unit. She has lived there and been given the most amazing care and support for the last 4 years now. We, as a family, have also been supported and kept very well informed of Mum's health and day-to-day life. It's most important for my siblings and myself to have a great relationship with the staff as most of us live in other countries. The staff have gone above and beyond their normal daily duties to ensure for us that Mum has everything she needs as well as a few treats. Thank you all so very much for being there.

The home itself is always clean and tidy and there is always a friendly welcome.

No one wants a loved one to need residential care but when that becomes necessary then you want them to be placed in a home where they will receive love and support and a personalised approach to their care - this is what I have witnessed at Rose Court.

My Mum has been in Rose Court since January 2024. Suffering from dementia we had struggled to get her settled in a home due to her unpredictability and anger and this was our third attempt. The staff at Rose Court have been fantastic with her. They've certainly had their work cut out settling her in but have done a wonderful job keeping her entertained and busy with art, crafts, baking, and flower arranging. It's been a big relief to the family that she is well looked after and safe. It's great to visit with different rooms you can use or the cafe for a brew.

I have visited my Father on a few occasions as I live overseas and in all that time I have witnessed consistent love and attention in the care given by all the staff. I am very impressed with the inclusion of my Mother in Rose Court and personal events. The staff goes out of their way to keep the residents engaged and involved. The staff made every special effort on a number of events for Birthdays and anniversaries and it is a pleasure to see how much they genuinely care.

On the first visit, the staff were very helpful and answered all our questions fully. The building was secure and homely which appealed to us and did not feel like a nursing home. Lots of entertainment and things to do.

My experience is very good. The staff of all levels are very good and nothing is too much trouble when you ask for anything. My brother's care is great. I would like to thank everyone for looking after my brother so well.

From the start, the staff have been very supportive to both mum and dad as they settled into their new life apart. It hasn't been an easy journey, but the support staff have been very good at finding ways to get Dad involved and active and have listened to Mum whenever she had any concerns. Dad is now settled, Mum sees he is well cared for and they have a happy, stress-free time together on their visits.

The staff and the home are fantastic, my grandad appears really settled and at home, they really understand him and his needs and really do go above and beyond with everything they do, they have a great relationship with him, and genuinely care about him and look after him the best they can, really lovely and homely environment, and despite the challenges and his behaviour which we know can be difficult, they always treat him with respect and dignity!

I am so pleased with all the staff at Rose Court, the relationship they have with all the residents is remarkable. They are also very helpful with relatives and nothing is too much trouble. I am very pleased that my husband is living with such remarkable staff and in his words calls Rose Court 'home'. Fantastic activities.

My brother-in-law is supported in all his needs. Staff are brilliant with him. Going off what he has said, the food is good. He has a nice room with a view of the channel with ducks and swans and the staff go out of their way for him, which I have seen myself.

My dad seems really settled and well looked after. The staff are really lovely and look after him well. Am really pleased with the care he receives.

My father-in-law has been at Rose Court for 3 years this week. It was difficult as family to see him initially move into Rose Court, however, he settled well and the staff understand all of his needs. They care about him and always ensure that he is looked after and treated with respect and dignity despite the challenges they face.
