I would like to thank all the staff at Rose Court who are all very kind, helpful and caring towards me and my mum who has dementia. Everyone is friendly and answers any questions you ask, it they cannot help they will find out for you. There are always lots of activities for residents and things going on for relatives to join in with too. There is also very good communication if they have any concerns with my mum's health.

The staff at Rose Court could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble, and they made the whole experience of putting my mum into respite care a lot easier.

I cannot praise the staff enough and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a car home for their loved one.

My cousin received 24 years of wonderful care while staying at Rose Court. Whenever I visited I found the staff lovely, they treated her like family and the facilities were always clean.

She used to have her hair cut and blown regularly and her nails painted and the activities over the years she has experienced have been a vast variety of assorted entertainment, trips out, making things, inside and outside. There's also a nice little courtyard garden in the centre to sit in. I would highly recommend Rose Court Care Home.

I have found the day staff to be very welcoming and friendly, they give me feedback on all of my husband's daily physical and emotional conditions. I feel, as my husband requires 24-hour care, he is in one of the better care homes. I am not, as yet, sure of how the weekly payment is made up and have requested to have this information. There could be better/more car parking spaces available.

Now that covid restrictions have been lifted the experience is far better when visiting my father.

Being able to spend quality time unsupervised by a carer means a lot. Being able to spend time in my father's room or sit in the garden with him makes the visit more enjoyable. The staff are always friendly and caring towards my father - thank you!

My visit today was amazing. The staff on duty were very polite friendly and professional. They advised me and confirmed the covid rules for PPE etc and allowed me some welcome privacy with my mum. My mum has thrived and survived the covid period and the staff have become her 'family'. The staff and management listen to me and genuinely care for their residents. They prove that working at Rose Court is more than just a job.

Fabulous care home. My mother has been made to feel very welcome. The carers have made me feel at ease. My mother is enjoying her stay there. I visited my mum in the pod and in her room. They have accommodated my visit every time that I have called. The home is lovely and clean and the staff are extremely friendly. My mother is enjoying the food and enjoying having her hair done every week by the hairdresser. I would highly recommend the care home.

My mother has vascular dementia and is having respite care. I live abroad and they let me face time her at least once a week, I could do more if needed. Her bedroom looks lovely. They do her hair for her and get her to walk around. My family who are able to visit, give me good reviews about her care too.

My father passed away on the 17th of March. He was a resident at Rose Court for eighteen months following a severe stroke that happened during lockdown. We chose Rose Court on recommendation and have been so pleased, as the level of care and support he received were second to none. He was unable to do anything for himself and couldn't speak, but he always had a smile for his nurses and carers and was extremely well looked after. As he came to end of life, the care and diligence shown to him were just wonderful. He was always treated with great respect and nothing was too much trouble. Our family were allowed to spend his last days with him and the staff were amazing. We saw the genuine depth of care and attention given to him, and it made his passing that bit easier for us. We are so grateful to all the staff - from the ladies on reception to the wonderful nurses and carers on the Nightingale Unit - and cannot thank them enough.

The staff at Rose Court take care of my mum with compassion and to a very high standard. It gives me and my family peace of mind that she is so well looked after. Just recently visited my mum after a year of missing her so much. The home has put all measures in place to ensure the visits are as relaxing as possible. I was so well looked after too and our time together was amazing and emotional. Thank you to Rose Court for looking after my mum so well. We thought we would lose her during the restrictions, thank goodness for the skills and brilliant team work my mum’s picking up. From all my family members a big thank you... and recognition for the sacrifices you have made too

Most of the care staff are genuinely caring and lovely people doing a great job. Over the last 4 years, I have highlighted some of my Mum's care that I really feel could be better. The manager, when confronted with issues, is defensive and dismissive. I have only been able to see my mum once in the last year. This is due to continuous outbreaks in the home. Large care homes have larger bubbles with larger staff numbers, the advantage to the care home is large profits, the disadvantage to families is the heartbreak of not being able to see your relatives as the larger the bubble the higher the risk for both residents or staff testing positive. This isn't due to lack of care of staff it's simple maths! My mum has dementia so Skype/phone calls are not ideal. At first, these were organised well, but on the last three occasions, after not receiving the call after 20 minutes I have had to call the home. I'm not sure what has happened to this booking system but it's just not good enough.

We last visited our cousin in March 2020 for our last weekly visit. Then everything changed and our weekly visits consisted of dropping off treats and hygiene products as well as clothing needs at the reception. The staff have kept us informed of our cousin’s health and needs. The staff have gone to great lengths to make the situation as normal as possible and we feel we have a good relationship with the home. We get a constant update from the staff regarding testing and general day to day health as we accept health can change as well as moods. We thank the home and staff for what they are doing and long to be in a better position to visit safely once again.

It was an extremely difficult decision to come to terms with my mum needing more specialised care than I could provide. The thought of her having to go into a care home filled me with fear, guilt and many, many sleepless nights. She became a resident at Rose Court at the end of November 2019 and I can honestly say that I have encountered the warmest, friendliest, professional staff who treat my mum with respect and care for her as one of their own. I am in daily contact for an update on how she is doing and I know that the home would contact me immediately, should anything be amiss. I have no hesitation in recommending Rose Court.

My mother has been a resident for six months and always been cared for amazingly. When COVID-19 caused lockdown, I, like lots of families, have not been able to visit, but the staff has kept me informed about mum regularly. I have been able to ring Mum for a chat and yesterday received a heart with some lovely words along with a photograph of mum, which has cheered me up no end. A wonderful care home. Brilliant staff who care.
