My dad became a resident of Belong Morris Feinmann when his dementia became too advanced to cope at home, and my mum followed him in and stayed there until she died. They were cared for there for three years in total. From the first day to the last I have nothing but positive things to say about how
they were looked after and about our dealings with every single member of the team. The genuine affection, as well as care, that every single member of the team showed them both was lovely to see. My sister and I felt 100% confident that they were being looked after as well as they possibly could and I can't exaggerate how much warmth and genuine affection they received, as well as the care that they needed. And the overwhelming majority of staff who were still there after 3 years was notable; I guess that finding and then retaining people who genuinely care is one of BMF's greatest strengths.
I'm very happy to recommend them without hesitation; my parents simply could not have been better cared for

My Dad came to Belong in the last year of his life, it brought him closer to family and gave us precious time at the end.
He made some wonderful connections with the staff on Olive and with the wider team.
The end of life care was of a 'gold standard' led by a team of compassionate individuals who
worked seamlessly around the clock to make the end comfortable. Something that meant a lot to us both.
Throughout my time interacting with staff and management, I was always listened to and treated with kindness and respect.

This has been absolutely the right decision, moving Dad to Belong Morris Feinmann has given him a better quality of life on every level. As a family we didn't get a map of his dementia journey ahead but the team have supported Dad better than we could have hoped for, emotionally & physically inc adapting
day to day living with new symptoms & challenges as they appear.
We started with home visits, increasing as his needs determined. Then with advice & support of a dementia nurse began to understand some of the journey ahead & the need to look at the next step of supported living. After researching a number of care providers led us to Belong Morris Feinmann.
A huge thank you to all the Belong team members on this journey that have also supported us as a family..

The ongoing care and support given to dad on Juniper Household is excellent. Sally and the team are kind, caring and bring a sense of fun to everyday. There are actvities within the village and on the households for residents to join in with if they wish. Last week the Juniper Team put on a Spanish
themed party with decorations, buffet, music, dancing and a quiz, which the household residents really enjoyed. Members of the senior management team and other staff from around the village also popped in to join the party. Moving dad here was the best thing we did, he has started living and enjoying life again :)
Reply from Carolyn Ball, General Manager at Belong Morris FeinmannThank you so much for this lovely review! It means a great deal to us all to know that this is appreciated and I will share your kind feedback with the Juniper Household Team.

The team were so caring and helpful, demonstrating kindness, stimulation and support for my friend. They always kept the family informed of any requirements or changes during his declining health and even took time to attend his funeral, which we all appreciated. The team responded quickly to his needs
and worked tirelessly to maintain his dignity. My friend enjoyed music sessions, afternoon tea and even made some new friends. Its often the small, caring touches that make such a big difference to someone at this stage of life. I would highly recommend BMF.

We were delighted with the care given to my Dad during his time at Morris Feinmann. It was lovely to see him smiling and laughing and interacting with other residents and staff. His room was lovely and bright and kept as clean as possible. There were a range of activities and Dad was encouraged to attend.
He enjoyed the Friday night religious services and prayers. No matter what time of the day or night the staff would make my dad tea and toast. All of the staff were very supportive of my dad's individual care needs.

Both of my aunts spent their final few years in independent apartments here, and each time I visited them I was struck by the welcoming atmosphere, the excellent facilities and the friendly and professional staff. My aunts were able to lead an active social life both inside and outside Belong, which
made all the difference to their well-being and was a great reassurance to their families. My thanks to all concerned.

I would highly recommend this care home. My Dad has been a resident there for six months now. His mobility has improved significantly and he has started to put on much needed weight. He's the happiest I've seen him in years. The staff are very caring and helpful, the food excellent and there are daily
activities should you choose to join in. The home is modern and well designed, clean and has a community feel that feels like home.

Having lived independently in her own flat for many years, my aunt's necessary move to BMF was difficult for her. However the staff were enormously helpful, assessing her needs and helping her settle quickly into her new routines and environment. Her stay was a short one and she didn't get time to
fully enjoy what the home had to offer. However the staff were wonderful in making her last weeks as comfortable as they could be. I could not fault the staff and management team. They made things very much easier for my aunt and me at that difficult time and would have no hesitation in recommending the care home to others.

I wouldn't put my dog in there, the food was disgusting, my dads basic needs were not met. He wasn't clean, the room smelt of urine, he had no socks. Many times he had no hearing aids. They don't employ enough staff per resident. My dad lasted four months in there. What a sad ending to his life. He
looked like a tramp.
Reply from Carolyn Ball, General Manager at Belong Morris FeinmannWe are appalled to read these allegations, which do not reflect the reality reported by other family members and regular visitors, who have reported being very happy with your father's care. It is also not consistent with the experience of others in our community, as can be seen in the many other independent reviews shared on carehome.co.uk. It is of the utmost importance to us that everyone living in Belong is treated with the highest standards of care and we do not recognise the description here. We take seriously all concerns raised and would welcome the opportunity to discuss with you further, should you wish to get in touch.

My wife was a resident for 2 1/2 years until she passed away. Throughout her stay the care was excellent as were the facilities and activities, especially the musical events which not only did she thoroughly enjoy but was able to sing to some of the music and use words that otherwise she could not articulate.
If
the Bistro was open in the evening more families would probably eat there with their family.

From the moment that mum started to attend the experience days 2 years ago, through her moving into a household a few months later and finally passing away recently, everyone at BMF have been amazing. From the beginning, the staff were friendly, approachable and able to answer all our questions. It
really felt as if our family had joined the BMF family. They facilitated mum's transition and helped her settle in. Throughout her stay, mum was really well cared for and supported to be herself. She gained confidence, made friends and engaged in new activities. Unfortunately she did have a couple of falls but each time she was supported to recover at her own pace and although her care was adapted as her needs increased, it was really important that she continued to be cared for by staff that she knew and trusted.
I would not hesitate to recommend BMF' to anyone looking for a holistic, caring and compassionate place to live.

I continue to have confidence that a high standard of care is being provided for my wife and that the environment inside and outside is being maintained to a high standard. A few key members of staff have moved on recently which is what happens over time but did impact on my confidence, although my
relationship with other staff is developing. I've engaged with the GP to reduce medication for my wife to offset undesirable side effects and this was achieved although I was surprised that the initiative had to come from me.
Reply from Carolyn Ball, General Manager at Belong Morris FeinmannThank you for taking the time to provide this feedback and for your positive ratings overall. My mum has been at Belong Morris Feinmann for over 3 years now, and going to Belong is the best decision we have ever made. Mum has dementia, but she is happy and content. It is extremely well -run and management are always available and always helpful. There are plenty of activities to keep the residents
stimulated. And the staff - certainly in my mum's case - I could not have asked for anything more; supportive, caring, friendly - they truly are fantastic.

Mum spent 6 yrs in an Independent Apartment at Belong until a Stroke in 2023 when she moved into the Care home. She has spent the last 18 mths in 24/7 care until her passing recently.
The Building is modern and well equipped, it has every possible facility, and a vast array of activities to keep residents
engaged and entertained. The care my Mum received especially in the later stages of her life was 2nd to none, the staff are totally dedicated to the welfare and support of residents, building strong relationships, and becoming not just carers, but their best friends and confidants. They continually go above and beyond, even coming in on their days off when Mum was approaching the end of life to comfort her and us. I could not have asked for more for my Mum, she was in the best possible place for her needs, and such a loving and caring environment.
The Management are always available and responsive, and know each resident needs inside out.
Nowhere better in my opinion.

(1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
