I have been living at Belong Morris Feinmnann for 9 years in a 2 bedroom apartment and living independently but with the possibility of using all the amenities in the Village. At the moment I can cater for myself. There care I see being given to the less fortunate is extremely wonderful.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide this wonderful feedback. It means a great deal to the team here and we are so pleased to hear that as a long time member of our Belong family, you are so happy. Thank you also for recognising the invaluable support that our teams provide on a daily basis. I will share your kind words with them all.
She has complex needs and the staff are well trained and understand how to do this. She is safe and well there.
Staff treat her with kindness and dignity
Thank you for your positive feedback about the support provided at Belong Morris Feinmann. We strive to take the time to get to know each person as an individual and to understand what matters most to them, so it is wonderful to hear that this has been reflected in your experience. It is a privilege to support your mother, and we greatly appreciate your kind comments.
Mum moved into Belong in February from another Residential care setting. So far the care she has received from the team on Juniper has been amazing. She has settled in much more quickly than we expected and the referrals to all of the different care agencies have been really efficient. As a result we are confident that her needs both in terms of her day to day care and her medications are being well managed.
Thank you for such lovely feedback. We are overjoyed to hear your mum is happy with us and enjoying our services. Our team work really hard to ensure a friendly, homely and welcoming environment. It means a great deal to our village team to know that this is appreciated.
Every member of staff treated her with dignity, respect and genuine kindness. Mum was colourful and enthusiastic, and rather than simply accommodating her individuality, the staff embraced it and clearly cared for her as an individual . It was evident that they knew her well and genuinely enjoyed her company.
Mum took part in a wide range of activities and was encouraged to remain engaged and involved in the life of the home. This contributed greatly to her quality of life and happiness.
As a family, we will always be grateful for the love, respect and outstanding care shown to Mum during her final years. Belong Morris Feinmann gave her a safe, caring and enriching environment, and we cannot thank Carolyn, Olive team and all the staff enough for everything they did.
Thank you so much for taking the time to post this incredibly moving feedback. It was a privilege to support your mum and it is crucial to us that we make people's time with us as special and positive as possible. It will mean a great deal to our village teams to read your touching comments and I will ensure they are shared with everyone. Thanks again.
My mother receives excellent care at the Belong, all the staff are incredibly kind and treat Mum with respect and dignity. Criticisms - the policy of never moving residents means that Mum has had to put up with a man wandering into her room which really upset her, and currently there is a lady who constantly shrieks. The household often smells which Mum doesn't notice but we do. However, the most important thing is the attitude of the staff. Save as above, any concerns we have are addressed immediately. The staff know us as well as knowing Mum. Their treatment of Mum could not be improved.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are delighted that you feel your mother receives excellent care and that our team consistently treats her with the respect, dignity, and kindness she deserves. It is especially rewarding to know that the staff have built such positive...
We unfortunately had to move my mum into Belong Morris Feinmann, due to her Alzheimer's diagnosis. We have seen a massive shift in her happiness and well being. The family are so grateful to all the staff, from the night care team, her one to ones.. to the chefs. I like that there's always something going on, whether it's a baby group with singing, local walks or in-house music events. It's a lovely, welcoming environment and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a happy, caring place for their loved ones.
Thank you for taking the time to submit your review of Belong Morris Feinmann. We are so touched by your kind words and are so happy to hear that your Mum is thriving and happy with us. The teams will be thrilled with this feedback.
Staff are extremely helpful and friendly and seem to really care for the residents. The set up works well with the bedrooms surrounding a communal lounge and kitchen area so there is always somewhere the residents can sit and watch things.
Thank you for submitting such a kind review. We are delighted to hear your experience with Belong has been a good one. Thanks again for choosing Belong Morris Feinmann. I will pass your feedback onto the entire team.
Mum has been at Belong Morris Feinmann for almost two years and we have felt lucky the whole time. I have never seen a care home that comes close to what we have at Morris Feinmann. Mum lives on Olive Household, where she is so loved and understood and cared for and where the staff make me feel like part of the family whenever I come to see her. The activites that take place in the Venue every week day are just wonderful. Mum goes to choir, chair yoga, music therapy and many more activities every day. She goes to a gym appointment every week (which is more than I manage!) And all within the safe space of a care home which has removed so much stress and worry from us and replaced it with a certainty that our beloved mum is being looked after beautifully. Thank you to all involved - I honestly can't imagine her living anywhere better.
Thank you for taking the time to submit such wonderful feedback. We aim to maintain high standards at Belong Morris Feinmann; we are so delighted to hear this has been your experience and that your Mum is thriving in our Belong Family. I will make sure your kind words are passed to the village team.
Belong is a fantastic place where i feel comfortable leaving my auntie happy and content knowing that they will look after her as i would. Staff are amazing and give their all, its really relaxed and very much like a hotel. Highly recommend.
Thank you so much for your positive feedback on the support provided at Belong Morris Feinmann. We are delighted to hear your Auntie is so content and that you have such great confidence in our team.
I have found that the carers are excellent and empathic. This applies to those who work in the hub, especially.but also to others who one sees casually and volunteers.Activities that include and encourage residents involvement are excellent.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. Our team work really hard to ensure a friendly, homely and welcoming environment. It means a great deal to our village team to know that this is appreciated.
Friendly, caring environment, generally well supported by communication with relatives. It would be good to see greater choice of food, including fresh fruit (and fewer high-sugar puddings). Rich programme of cultural activities.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. Our team work really hard to ensure a friendly, homely and welcoming environment. We appreciate feedback from customers and continuously look at ways we can improve and will share your comments with the Catering and village management team.
It can be a huge worry entrusting others to care for a loved parent but I was reassured on all visits that mum was being cared for to a high standard with affection and care shown to her by Chanel and the wonderful staff team on Cypress. The team were also supportive to family members with good communication around all relevant issues.
Thank you so much

Staff are caring and provide a consistently excellent level of personal care and emotional support. Mum enjoys hugs and kisses and likes to sit with staff and wander around with them when they are working. Mum has advanced dementia and the staff are very patient and have learnt how to manage her dislike of person care and wherever possible to let her sleep get up when she's ready. Mum's eating is erratic and she's offered tea and toast if she refuses the prepared meal. The staff use the distraction technique to avoid confrontation and disturbance for the other residents. Mum is mostly relaxed and content in spite her extreme confusion and low level of cognitive function. Mum's health needs are well managed by referral to the GP team when an infection is suspected.

After being a regular at experience days at BMF where she was beautifully cared for by Angela , when mum could no longer live independently there was no question that BMF was the place for mum.
From the moment mum moved into Cypruss the exceptional care, support and genuine affection shown to her was above and beyond any expectations.
Every single member of the team went above and beyond - not just meeting mum's needs but also being there for my sister and myself.
Living with Dementia can be a challenging journey, not only for the person experiencing it but for the whole family.
Knowing that she was surrounded by such kindness, patience and understanding gave us immense comfort and peace of mind.
Thank you all for treating her with dignity and for supporting us as a family through difficult moments.
We will be eternally grateful for the love and care you gave her.
With heartfelt thank

He made some wonderful connections with the staff on Olive and with the wider team.
The end of life care was of a 'gold standard' led by a team of compassionate individuals who worked seamlessly around the clock to make the end comfortable. Something that meant a lot to us both.
Throughout my time interacting with staff and management, I was always listened to and treated with kindness and respect.
Please accept our condolences; it was a privilege to care for your Dad and we are pleased to know he was happy during his time here. Thank you for taking the time to submit your review and we will ensure your kind words are shared with the team at the village.
We started with home visits, increasing as his needs determined. Then with advice & support of a dementia nurse began to understand some of the journey ahead & the need to look at the next step of supported living. After researching a number of care providers led us to Belong Morris Feinmann.
A huge thank you to all the Belong team members on this journey that have also supported us as a family..
Thank you very much for this great review. We really appreciate you taking the time to provide it and our village team will be delighted to hear that your dad and your family are receiving the best possible support .
The ongoing care and support given to dad on Juniper Household is excellent. Sally and the team are kind, caring and bring a sense of fun to everyday. There are actvities within the village and on the households for residents to join in with if they wish. Last week the Juniper Team put on a Spanish themed party with decorations, buffet, music, dancing and a quiz, which the household residents really enjoyed. Members of the senior management team and other staff from around the village also popped in to join the party. Moving dad here was the best thing we did, he has started living and enjoying life again :)
Thank you so much for this lovely review! Our team work really hard to ensure a friendly, homely and welcoming environment and provide lots of fun activities and events for our Belong Morris Feinmann family to enjoy. It means a great deal to us all to know that this is appreciated and I will share your kind feedback with the Juniper Household Team.
The team were so caring and helpful, demonstrating kindness, stimulation and support for my friend. They always kept the family informed of any requirements or changes during his declining health and even took time to attend his funeral, which we all appreciated. The team responded quickly to his needs and worked tirelessly to maintain his dignity. My friend enjoyed music sessions, afternoon tea and even made some new friends. Its often the small, caring touches that make such a big difference to someone at this stage of life. I would highly recommend BMF.

We were delighted with the care given to my Dad during his time at Morris Feinmann. It was lovely to see him smiling and laughing and interacting with other residents and staff. His room was lovely and bright and kept as clean as possible. There were a range of activities and Dad was encouraged to attend. He enjoyed the Friday night religious services and prayers. No matter what time of the day or night the staff would make my dad tea and toast. All of the staff were very supportive of my dad's individual care needs.
Thank you so much for this touching review. It was a privilege to have your Dad staying with us at Belong Morris Feinmann and the teams will be be highly appreciative of this feedback, knowing that he enjoyed his time with us so much.

Meet the Team (5)

An experienced leader, Carolyn brings with her six years of Belong management expertise, including the last two years as front-of-house manager at the Didsbury Village, since its opening in 2017.
Notably, she was influential in the set-up of both Belong Morris Feinmann and Belong Warrington, including recruitment and subsequent training and mentoring of colleagues, drawing on her HR and administration knowledge, which she has developed since joining Belong Macclesfield back in 2008.
As a result, Carolyn has acquired strong expertise in dementia care provision and, having worked at numerous Belong sites, has built close relationships with customers and colleagues across the northwest, enabling her to bring a wealth of competence to the general manager role.

Rebecca was promoted to Assistant Support Manager in June 2022. The promotion comes on the back of Rebecca’s sterling contribution as Lead Senior Support Worker.
As the village's assistant support manager, Rebecca is responsible for working alongside the support manager to oversee the household teams at the village, ensuring they are equipped with the required knowledge and experience to meet customer needs.

Responsible for managing Belong Morris Feinmann’s Front of House team and village systems, Angela brings decades of manager-level experience to her role. Her career spans over 11 years in healthcare, running hospital administration teams, as well as working as a Business and HR Manager for an engineering company in Deeside, involved in supporting the senior management and business initiatives alongside the implementation of HR systems.
With a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring everything runs efficiently and smoothly, she is the first port of call for all finance and administration queries in the village, supporting customers and colleagues alike.

Karan Shingler, village nurse manager at Belong Morris Feinmann, works tirelessly to care for customers and treats them and their families with the highest levels of compassion, sensitivity and respect.
In March 2019, Karan beat off competition from around the country to win the ‘Palliative Care/End of Life’ at the national finals of the Great British Care Awards. The judges said that Karan, of Hyde, Greater Manchester, deserved to win the award for her passion, professionalism and drive, particularly in helping her team achieve national ‘Six Steps’ accreditation for its end-of-life care strategy. She was also praised for her motivating and inspiring leadership style, constantly striving to improve standards of care for those on end-of-life pathways.

Angela brings a wealth of networking and business experience as well as passion, creativity and enthusiasm to her role, and is instrumental to the organisation of the village’s programme of events and activities. She is also responsible for running the Experience Days: a service that enables people to join in village activities on a ‘day’ basis, with support for those who need it. Angela's role also involves networking with key stakeholders in the village and organising fundraising events; she is a key member of the village team. Previously, she worked as a Personal Stylist at John Lewis, building a reputation amongst her client group. In addition to this, Angela ran her own vintage clothing shop in Cheadle, and an online business, supplying designer second-hand clothing.
