Both of my aunts spent their final few years in independent apartments here, and each time I visited them I was struck by the welcoming atmosphere, the excellent facilities and the friendly and professional staff. My aunts were able to lead an active social life both inside and outside Belong, which made all the difference to their well-being and was a great reassurance to their families. My thanks to all concerned.
Please accept our condolences; it was a privilege to have known both of your aunts and we are pleased to know that they were happy during their time here. Thank you for taking the time to submit your review and we will ensure your kind words are shared with the team at the village.
I would highly recommend this care home. My Dad has been a resident there for six months now. His mobility has improved significantly and he has started to put on much needed weight. He's the happiest I've seen him in years. The staff are very caring and helpful, the food excellent and there are daily activities should you choose to join in. The home is modern and well designed, clean and has a community feel that feels like home.
Thank you for such lovely feedback. We are overjoyed to hear your Dad is so happy with us and enjoying his new home and has improved so much since joining us. I will make sure your review is passed on to entire Belong Morris Feinmann Team.
Having lived independently in her own flat for many years, my aunt's necessary move to BMF was difficult for her. However the staff were enormously helpful, assessing her needs and helping her settle quickly into her new routines and environment. Her stay was a short one and she didn't get time to fully enjoy what the home had to offer. However the staff were wonderful in making her last weeks as comfortable as they could be. I could not fault the staff and management team. They made things very much easier for my aunt and me at that difficult time and would have no hesitation in recommending the care home to others.
Please accept our condolences; it was a privilege to care for your Aunt and we are pleased to know she was happy during her time here. Thank you for taking the time to submit your review and we will ensure your kind words are shared with the team at the village.
I wouldn't put my dog in there, the food was disgusting, my dads basic needs were not met. He wasn't clean, the room smelt of urine, he had no socks. Many times he had no hearing aids. They don't employ enough staff per resident. My dad lasted four months in there. What a sad ending to his life. He looked like a tramp.
We are appalled to read these allegations, which do not reflect the reality reported by other family members and regular visitors, who have reported being very happy with your father's care. It is also not consistent with the experience of others in our community, as can be seen in the many other...
If the Bistro was open in the evening more families would probably eat there with their family.
Thank you so much for taking the time to post this incredibly moving feedback. It was a privilege to support wife and it is crucial to us that we make people's time with us as special and positive as possible. It will mean a great deal to our village teams to read your comments and I will ensure they are shared with everyone. Thanks again.
I would not hesitate to recommend BMF' to anyone looking for a holistic, caring and compassionate place to live.
Please accept our condolences; it was a privilege to care for your mum and we are pleased to know she was so well cared for during her time here. Thank you for taking the time to submit your review and we will ensure your kind words are shared with the team at the village.
I continue to have confidence that a high standard of care is being provided for my wife and that the environment inside and outside is being maintained to a high standard. A few key members of staff have moved on recently which is what happens over time but did impact on my confidence, although my relationship with other staff is developing. I've engaged with the GP to reduce medication for my wife to offset undesirable side effects and this was achieved although I was surprised that the initiative had to come from me.
Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback and for your positive ratings overall. We do appreciate that staffing changes can be unsettling, and we are working hard to ensure a successful transition while we bed in new colleagues. I would assure you that we insist upon high standards in...
The care by Belong MF for my sister is first class and I cannot fault it.She is so well looked after in her household and enjoys the very full range of activities provided ib both the morning and afternoon. It is great for myself and my family to be able to meet with her for lunch in the Bistro.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide this excellent feedback. It means a great deal to the team here to know that your Sister is so happy and engaged and that you are also able to enjoy time here as a family at Belong Morris Feinmann.
My mum has been at Belong Morris Feinmann for over 3 years now, and going to Belong is the best decision we have ever made. Mum has dementia, but she is happy and content. It is extremely well -run and management are always available and always helpful. There are plenty of activities to keep the residents stimulated. And the staff - certainly in my mum's case - I could not have asked for anything more; supportive, caring, friendly - they truly are fantastic.
Thank you for such lovely feedback. We are overjoyed to hear your mum is so happy with us and that she is receiving great support and care. I will make sure your review is passed on to our Belong Morris Feinmann team, who will be thrilled to hear this.
Great facilities and family atmosphere.

To summarise I do not think I could find a better nursing home in the area for my wife as I am happy that my wife is safe and well cared for in warm community

The Building is modern and well equipped, it has every possible facility, and a vast array of activities to keep residents engaged and entertained. The care my Mum received especially in the later stages of her life was 2nd to none, the staff are totally dedicated to the welfare and support of residents, building strong relationships, and becoming not just carers, but their best friends and confidants. They continually go above and beyond, even coming in on their days off when Mum was approaching the end of life to comfort her and us. I could not have asked for more for my Mum, she was in the best possible place for her needs, and such a loving and caring environment.
The Management are always available and responsive, and know each resident needs inside out.
Nowhere better in my opinion.

The home is bright, clean and airy with excellent facilities. The staff are friendly, caring and professional to both residents and visitors. My father-in-law is very comfortable and happy here and we feel confident about the care he receives.
Thank you very much for this lovely review. We really appreciate you taking the time to provide it and our Belong Morris Feinmann team will be delighted to hear that your father-in-law is settled and happy.
The home is clean and well-maintained. Purpose-built and comfortable.
The activities team are kind and enthusiastic, putting a lot of thought into making the residents' time happy and fun.
The management is extremely approachable and diligent. Any concerns are dealt with promptly and professionally, no matter how small. They really care.
During the last few weeks of her life, when Mum was on end-of-life care, the home was superb. Nurses are on hand at all times and ensured Mum was comfortable and pain-free. All staff showed their love and support for Mum at this difficult time and were there for me and my family too. I am so grateful to them all.
Please accept our condolences; it was a great privilege to care for your mum and we are pleased to know that she received such dignity and respect and that she was happy during her time here. Thank you for taking the time to submit your review and we will ensure your kind words are shared with the team at the village.
The care and support for my mother and our family have been fantastic throughout her time at Belong over the last three years. During her last few weeks, when her health deteriorated, the staff went above and beyond our expectations in the level of love and care shown to all of us. I cannot recommend them highly enough. We are very grateful for all the support we received.

The management and staff are amazing. Very receptive and proactive. I know my mother is very well looked after here at Belong Morris Feinmann.
Thank you for your positive review of the support provided at Belong Morris Feinmann. We do our best to understand every customer and it is a pleasure to have your mum living with us.
My mum spent 5 years as a resident at Belong Morris Feinmann Home, moving in with decreasing mobility as a result of a spinal condition, eventually confining her to a wheelchair. Over the years she received the best quality care from warm, caring and skilled staff who provide a real home-from-home atmosphere. Her condition declined resulting in paralysis from the neck down so she became completely dependent on her physical care although mentally she remains fully alert. She then began to recover some mobility, aided in no small part by the exercise regime offered by the in-house physical instruction by Belong. Throughout her time at Morris Feinmann her situation was treated with the utmost care and sensitivity, adapting to her changes in physical ability. Mum has now relocated with her family to a care home in London and we cannot thank the manager and the team in Didsbury enough for the way they looked after Mum during her stay at Belong Morris Feinmann.
Thank you for taking the time to submit such lovely feedback. We are so delighted to hear that your experience was that we provided a real home-from-home for you mum and that she recovered some mobility whilst staying with us. Thank you for choosing Belong Morris Feinmann.
What can we say; words can’t really express our gratitude for the care given to Dad by the staff of Olive Household. They all went above and beyond to ensure he was safe and well cared for. We miss him every day but take great comfort in the fact he was happy and comfortable at the end. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

A difficult decision to move mum from her own home at the age of 92, but it turned out to be the best decision without any doubt. Nice bright room and living areas with balcony and rooftop and outside gardens. The friendly and caring staff made the transition easy.
Thank you very much for this lovely review. We really appreciate you taking the time to provide it, and our village team will be delighted to hear that they have helped with the transition and that your mum is settled and happy.
This is an outstanding, caring environment. Safe and organised but care is also given with kindness and patience. They are served by an outstanding and charming local GP team who attend every week for a day to review medical issues, adding to the feeling of safety.

We are delighted to know that your relative is happy at Belong Morris Feinmann and that the dedication of our village teams are making a difference. An experienced leader, Carolyn brings with her six years of Belong management expertise, including the last two years as front-of-house manager at the Didsbury Village, since its opening in 2017.
Notably, she was influential in the set-up of both Belong Morris Feinmann and Belong Warrington, including recruitment and subsequent training and mentoring of colleagues, drawing on her HR and administration knowledge, which she has developed since joining Belong Macclesfield back in 2008.
As a result, Carolyn has acquired strong expertise in dementia care provision and, having worked at numerous Belong sites, has built close relationships with customers and colleagues across the northwest, enabling her to bring a wealth of competence to the general manager role.

Rebecca was promoted to Assistant Support Manager in June 2022. The promotion comes on the back of Rebecca’s sterling contribution as Lead Senior Support Worker.
As the village's assistant support manager, Rebecca is responsible for working alongside the support manager to oversee the household teams at the village, ensuring they are equipped with the required knowledge and experience to meet customer needs.

Responsible for managing Belong Morris Feinmann’s Front of House team and village systems, Angela brings decades of manager-level experience to her role. Her career spans over 11 years in healthcare, running hospital administration teams, as well as working as a Business and HR Manager for an engineering company in Deeside, involved in supporting the senior management and business initiatives alongside the implementation of HR systems.
With a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring everything runs efficiently and smoothly, she is the first port of call for all finance and administration queries in the village, supporting customers and colleagues alike.

Karan Shingler, village nurse manager at Belong Morris Feinmann, works tirelessly to care for customers and treats them and their families with the highest levels of compassion, sensitivity and respect.
In March 2019, Karan beat off competition from around the country to win the ‘Palliative Care/End of Life’ at the national finals of the Great British Care Awards. The judges said that Karan, of Hyde, Greater Manchester, deserved to win the award for her passion, professionalism and drive, particularly in helping her team achieve national ‘Six Steps’ accreditation for its end-of-life care strategy. She was also praised for her motivating and inspiring leadership style, constantly striving to improve standards of care for those on end-of-life pathways.

Angela brings a wealth of networking and business experience as well as passion, creativity and enthusiasm to her role, and is instrumental to the organisation of the village’s programme of events and activities. She is also responsible for running the Experience Days: a service that enables people to join in village activities on a ‘day’ basis, with support for those who need it. Angela's role also involves networking with key stakeholders in the village and organising fundraising events; she is a key member of the village team. Previously, she worked as a Personal Stylist at John Lewis, building a reputation amongst her client group. In addition to this, Angela ran her own vintage clothing shop in Cheadle, and an online business, supplying designer second-hand clothing.
