My father has made some connections and friendships with other residents. He enjoys the opportunity to connect over lunch in the main communal area.
He has particularly enjoyed the classical music performances, concerts and Jewish festival get-togethers which occur on a regular basis.
My father likes his own company too and the carers are sensitive to this
It is particularly good to know that on occasion when my dad has made a request to visit a restaurant outside the care home the carer will accommodate his request.
The home director and immediate team were particularly helpful to all the family when welcoming my father into the home.

It was a huge decision for us to admit Mum to a care home, having cared for her ourselves for a number of years. We were extremely nervous about it.
However, we need not have worried.
From the moment Mum came to Belong she was treated with kindness. consideration, respect and decency.
Every member of staff, from reception to the care and nursing team is friendly, and approachable and does their utmost to ensure Mum’s care needs are met.
The wonderful nursing team who oversee her care look after her so well and are always available day or night for us to speak to if we have any worries about Mum’s health.
Mum is treated with genuine affection and has built some lovely relationships with Belong’s outstanding, hardworking care staff, which is wonderful to see.
She loves all the activities and is very happy and we would not want her to be anywhere else!

My mum moved into Belong Morris Feinmann 2 years ago. Although we were in the middle of Covid restrictions we were able to help Mum settle and visits were still possible. For the first time in 3 years, my brother and I were able to sleep without worrying about Mum's safety. She receives excellent care and the staff are kind and patient and take time to know my mum and the other residents. It is not easy having a parent with Alzheimer's and the staff have also been very supportive towards us. All staff from management to housekeeping are friendly and welcoming. The household and communal areas are clean and comfortable with a homelike feel. We would be lost without you, thank you.

The welcome and care given to my parents have been excellent. Mum has got involved in many activities and she feels settled and safe in her new home.
Dad recently passed away after a long period of poor health. This was a difficult time, but the care and respect he received right through to his final days were heart-warming. In addition, the staff looked after the whole family as we navigated our way through this time and continue to keep a special eye on Mum as she adjusts to life without Dad.

My father moved to Belong during the pandemic and it was an amazingly fortunate decision. An excellent standard of care for my father. He is settled and happy within Belong. He has fantastic relationships with the carers who are really well-trained and thoughtful. Knowing he is well looked after has been a very positive experience for us as a family.
Thank you for taking the time to provide this lovely feedback. We are delighted to know that your father is settled and happy with us. We especially appreciate your feedback on the standard of care that our support workers provide your father. Thank you for choosing Belong.
The management is also very impressive, nothing is too much trouble and they have engaged with my dad and guided him (and us) through very difficult times. The facilities are excellent and there are many activities on offer but it is the relationships with residents which make this such a special place.

Belong Morris Feinmann is a lifesaver in that I can put my head down at night and be assured that my mum is safe. Both of my parents lived here, both struggling with Alzheimer's in different ways. The staff dealt with their challenges admirably, with kindness, respect and support. During the pandemic Belong Morris Feinmann showed its true colours, keeping loved ones as safe and cared for as possible during very difficult times.

Unfortunately, around 18 months ago my mum's health deteriorated and she moved into Palm. Mum was upset that she was losing her independence she needn't of worried. The staff are exceptional and looked after my mum with such dignity and friendship. I live in London and nothing was too much for the staff, they would video call me so I could speak with her when some weeks I couldn't get up. It's not only the staff in Palm but everyone from the wonderful management to the cleaners who show such loyalty to the residents. They sat with Mum holding her hand all night. You are all angels. Words can't describe the care that you gave. Thank you from the moment of my heart.
Thank you so much for taking the time to post this incredibly moving feedback. It was a privilege to support your mum and it is crucial to us that we make people's time with us as special and positive as possible. We are so happy that your mum enjoyed attending all of our activities and outings....
I moved my mum in at the beginning of June 2022, and I can only say how beautiful she is cared for. Since the stroke, she has been unable to stand or walk unaided. She has excellent medical attention when needed. Despite all her physical problems, she is always spotlessly clean and is fed well. She appears content.
The staff in her household are so attentive and caring. It is run and organised by efficient and understanding people. They always contact me if there is any change in her condition.
Since my mum has been there, I have had a huge weight lifted off me. At one stage, I was becoming tearful and depressed. That has now gone.
I can walk away after visiting Mum, knowing that she is well cared for and safe, and I am now able to relax and spend quality time with all my other family.
Thank you for taking the time to submit your review of Belong Morris Feinmann. We are so touched by your kind words, and we will aim to keep our services to such high standards. We are glad that your mum is content and happy with our services. Thank you for choosing Belong.
Our mother spent a very happy 18 months at Belong Morris Feinmann before she recently passed away. During that time she received excellent care from the dedicated and compassionate staff. The staff were highly skilled in meeting all mum’s individual and specific day-to-day needs, in spite of her advancing dementia and deteriorating condition. They looked after her with great kindness and dignity. The home’s outstanding professional and personable approach ensured a calm atmosphere, inspiring both trust and confidence. The well-being and contentment of each individual resident is always their highest priority. Overall, we would wholeheartedly recommend the Belong Morris Feinmann Village. In our opinion, this is the standard that other care homes should be aiming to aspire to. With much gratitude and a huge thank you to the Manager and all the Staff at Belong for the love, care, and attention given to our beloved mum.

To all of the staff at Belong, especially on Olive and Myrtle, and all of the medical team, who cared for our mum so lovingly and professionally during her time spent with you, and who supported us as a family with such affection and understanding. We would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for that love and care you gave to our mum, whilst she was with you, albeit we know she was a cheeky little lady at times, as frail as she was, you took her into your hearts, as I'm sure she did with each of you. When she sadly lost her battle in the early hours in January, she couldn't have been in better care with the staff on duty, and the love and kindness you showed to us as her family will never be forgotten, you are truly amazing people and we will never forget the compassionate commitment, care and time you have for the people you care for, and for which we will always be eternally grateful for. God bless you all.

All the staff at the Belong Morris Feinmann Home provided outstanding care to my mother in her final weeks. The Nursing team were exceptional in managing her symptoms and ensuring she was as comfortable as possible. My mother was a resident for just over 2 years. She had dementia and various other health care needs. The staff were superb in every way. Kind, caring and compassionate. I can highly recommend the care home. Mum's every need was attended to. I was always made very welcome, and the staff always listened very carefully to our requests. Mum passed away very peacefully in the care home. The staff were highly respectful of our religious and cultural needs.

Wanting to thank the amazing team for their wonderful dedication after my mother broke her hip. Would highly recommend anyone that has relatives to come to the Belong Morris Feinmann Home. My mother was 102 at the time and just celebrated her 103rd birthday and is now back home in her own flat.

Belong are a warm and friendly family of caring people who are genuinely concerned for the wellbeing of their residents. At this difficult time they are using imaginative ways to bring interest and activity into their residents’ lives while the usual hustle and bustle of visitors and outings etc can’t happen. Normally an excellent range of events take place.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our service; we are so pleased that you have had such a positive experience especially at this time. We really appreciate your support. I will share your comments with my team. Thank you for choosing Belong Morris Feinmann.
My Mum has received exemplary care since her arrival there. The staff are kind, patient and attentive and look after my Mum's needs beautifully. The atmosphere on the household is positive and friendly and the continuity of care means that the staff and residents are like a big family.
It is a pleasure to look after your mum and thank you so much for your kind comments, especially at this time. We really appreciate your support.
We feel so very fortunate to have seen at first hand the love and care for our families parents. Even in these most difficult times when it has proved impossible to visit we feel that the care staff are treating our family as if they were their own. The highest compliment we could give. Thank you all at Belong Morris Feinmann.

Meet the Team (5)

An experienced leader, Carolyn brings with her six years of Belong management expertise, including the last two years as front-of-house manager at the Didsbury Village, since its opening in 2017.
Notably, she was influential in the set-up of both Belong Morris Feinmann and Belong Warrington, including recruitment and subsequent training and mentoring of colleagues, drawing on her HR and administration knowledge, which she has developed since joining Belong Macclesfield back in 2008.
As a result, Carolyn has acquired strong expertise in dementia care provision and, having worked at numerous Belong sites, has built close relationships with customers and colleagues across the northwest, enabling her to bring a wealth of competence to the general manager role.

Rebecca was promoted to Assistant Support Manager in June 2022. The promotion comes on the back of Rebecca’s sterling contribution as Lead Senior Support Worker.
As the village's assistant support manager, Rebecca is responsible for working alongside the support manager to oversee the household teams at the village, ensuring they are equipped with the required knowledge and experience to meet customer needs.

Responsible for managing Belong Morris Feinmann’s Front of House team and village systems, Angela brings decades of manager-level experience to her role. Her career spans over 11 years in healthcare, running hospital administration teams, as well as working as a Business and HR Manager for an engineering company in Deeside, involved in supporting the senior management and business initiatives alongside the implementation of HR systems.
With a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring everything runs efficiently and smoothly, she is the first port of call for all finance and administration queries in the village, supporting customers and colleagues alike.

Karan Shingler, village nurse manager at Belong Morris Feinmann, works tirelessly to care for customers and treats them and their families with the highest levels of compassion, sensitivity and respect.
In March 2019, Karan beat off competition from around the country to win the ‘Palliative Care/End of Life’ at the national finals of the Great British Care Awards. The judges said that Karan, of Hyde, Greater Manchester, deserved to win the award for her passion, professionalism and drive, particularly in helping her team achieve national ‘Six Steps’ accreditation for its end-of-life care strategy. She was also praised for her motivating and inspiring leadership style, constantly striving to improve standards of care for those on end-of-life pathways.

Angela brings a wealth of networking and business experience as well as passion, creativity and enthusiasm to her role, and is instrumental to the organisation of the village’s programme of events and activities. She is also responsible for running the Experience Days: a service that enables people to join in village activities on a ‘day’ basis, with support for those who need it. Angela's role also involves networking with key stakeholders in the village and organising fundraising events; she is a key member of the village team. Previously, she worked as a Personal Stylist at John Lewis, building a reputation amongst her client group. In addition to this, Angela ran her own vintage clothing shop in Cheadle, and an online business, supplying designer second-hand clothing.
