Through these last months of the pandemic, I can't fault the excellent care and consideration given to my aunt and to myself and the family in the efforts made to help us visit (where possible) and keep in touch in the most difficult circumstances. Credit must go to all areas. I have enormous gratitude and admiration for the wonderful way you have all coped and kept your residents safe.
Thank you for your extremely kind words. The village at Belong Morris Feinmann appreciate the trust you place in us as a team. We make every effort to meet the needs of our wonderful residents. It is a privilege to care for each and every one of them. I will pass on your sentiments to the whole team.
It is a beautiful place, staffed by extraordinarily kind, considerate and skilled carers. They have gone to great lengths to get to know our mum, to make her smile, to reassure the family and to keep up their very high standards of hygiene, food and activities to create a calm, yet stimulating environment, despite the protracted lockdown. We are confident our wonderful mum is receiving the best care available.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our service; we are so pleased that you and your mother have had such a positive experience. I will share your lovely comments with my team. Thank you for choosing Belong Morris Feinmann.
In the time my father lived there he was very happy and enjoyed an excellent quality of life. He relished the amazing range of activities and the care he received was outstanding. The staff were superb at meeting his complex needs and always showed love, compassion and preserved his dignity. The facilities are superbly run by a very dedicated and professional staff in an exceptionally warm, friendly and caring atmosphere. We were always well informed and the communications were excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful home which is at the heart of the local community.
Thank you for the wonderful review. It was a pleasure to look after your father and thank you so much for your kind comments, especially at this time. We really appreciate your support.
My father came to live at Belong Morris Feinmann in March 2018 and was very happy there. I and my siblings were also really pleased with every aspect of the home - the layout and atmosphere, all the staff there, the activities laid on for the residents. The care and consideration that my father received was first class, and I would definitely recommend the home to others. Dad was very well cared for, and he was really happy there, so we are grateful that we found the Belong Morris Feinmann Home. Thank you so much.
Thank you for your lovely comments. The team, work very hard, they will be delighted with your lovely review.
My dad was there for the last 2 and a half years of his life. The care was superb. The staff were superb. I could not be happier with the care he received. He was also stimulated with all the activities and all the great talks with the lively, enthusiastic, interesting and highly professional staff. You could not ask for more. Excellent.
Thank you for taking the time to submit your review of Belong Morris Feinmann. We are so touched by your kind words and will make sure your comments are shared with the village team.
My father came into the home when I could no longer cope with his dementia at home. From the minute I first visited the home I was made so welcome, as were my husband and my father. Unfortunately due to my father's rapid deterioration from dementia and heart failure he only lived for seven weeks. During that time my dad was treated with extreme dignity and kindness. Nothing was too much trouble and his carers always made time for me when I rang and helped with facetime when I was unable to visit with Covid restrictions. The living accommodation was spotless and my dad always looked immaculate. The Managers and their wonderful team of carers and very welcoming reception staff are doing an amazing job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home to anyone.
Thank you so much for taking the time to post this incredibly moving feedback. It was a privilege to support your father, and it is crucial to us that we make people’s time with us as special and as positive as possible. It will mean a great deal to our village teams to read your comments and I will ensure they are shared with everyone. Thanks again.
Mum received excellent care throughout. She struggled with dementia but was always involved in the many activities arranged. She particularly enjoyed coffee mornings, exercises and sessions with music of her era.
Things changed with Covid19. We were so impressed with how the situation was managed. We received regular communication and nothing was more important than the safety and welfare of residents.
We can never thank the team enough for all they did for mum. When we knew she would not pull through Mum was never left alone. They also facilitated video calls so that we could see her and could not have done any more to show her love and consideration. We will always be deeply indebted for this, particularly as social distancing prevented us from being with her.
Relationships with everyone were excellent. Mum always received personal care and attention. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this moving feedback. It was a privilege to support your Mum and it means the world to us to have been able to make a difference in her last days. She is much missed. We look forward to welcoming you back as soon as it is safe to do so as you are very much part of the Belong family.
Morris Feinmann Home is an exceptional care home. The building and interior are of the highest quality and they are kept spotless at all times. The bedrooms and living area are very comfortable and the units of circa 12 rooms create a very "homely" environment. Most importantly, the staff have a big heart and genuinely care for the residents. My mother was a resident for just over two years and was treated with tremendous care, attention and dignity throughout. Myself and my sister made frequent visits and can attest to the care being consistently good to residents, including during difficult situations. Our expectations were high at the outset for this care home and my sister and I are of the firm view that Morris Feinmann not only met those expectations but outperformed. Manchester is lucky to have such a high-quality care home. My sister and I cannot recommend Morris Feinmann Home highly enough.

When looking for homes we were initially a little concerned as this was originally a care home for Jewish residents only and Mum was not Jewish. This, however, has changed recently to admit non-Jewish residents as well. In practice, this has not been an issue at all and Mum fitted in very well.
Mum settled in really well and very quickly. The standard of care has been excellent throughout as Mum's condition changed. Mum was there for about six months and really felt at home, which was critical for us.
I can thoroughly recommend Belong Morris Feinmann based on the experience that Mum had and we as her family saw.
Thank you Belong.

My mother was admitted here after a hip fracture had left her unable to walk. She stayed for about 18 months, until her death in mid-August 2019. The care she received was excellent; it was courteous, attentive and, I think it is not an exaggeration to say, loving. Her health deteriorated in July, leading to two admissions to hospital, but I had no concerns about her returning to Olive household on her discharge. The end-of-life care over the last few days was every bit as good as I have seen in hospital, and the communication with me was very good.

It sometimes appears that the home is slightly overstaffed but this is obviously intentional - it means that the staff are not rushed off their feet and have time to spend with residents and really care for them. I've spent many visits in awe of the patience and affection shown by all the staff.
It is not just my husband who is benefiting from the care he receives - I am now sleeping well and rediscovering a life free of worry.
Thank you to all the staff at Belong Morris Feinmann, listing all the facilities as excellent is a given.

My mother came to live at Belong Morris Feinmann in December 2017. From the outset, the care and consideration of all the staff who looked after mum right through to her passing towards the end of September was outstanding. A difficult situation that was eased by the understanding and thoughtfulness helped not only me but the family. Her time at Belong kept her not only happy but active. Thank you.

The staff on Olive made my brother as comfortable as possible and he related to the lovely young staff, particularly 3 members of staff. He was only here for 6 weeks before he passed away but he was very well cared for. Thank you.

I looked at many homes and this is by far the best. My mother is in Cypress Household and is being looked after fantastically.
I cannot praise the care she gets high enough.

A very high standard has been maintained in all departments, since my last visit some months ago. This includes management, nurses and carers. Any queries or problems were dealt with seriously and promptly by the team leader on 'Cypress'.
Apart from all this, the great kindness, gentleness, patience and understanding shown to my mother is what makes this a very special place.
We are delighted to hear that overall you are happy with the service and the team have addressed any concerns which may have arisen promptly. Thank you for taking the time to submit your review of Belong Morris Feinmann.
One staff member should be, at all times, sitting with residents to keep a watchful eye.
The residents washing is not being done correctly. 3 of my husband's good wool sweaters have been ruined by putting into an incorrect machine wash.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience of Belong is falling short of our expected standards. We were not aware of reports of lost or damaged laundry and will now investigate this immediately. Our team do use electronic devices in the households to record essential...
My wife suffered from Alzheimer's and after 60 years of marriage, I was reluctant to let her go into a care home. My worries were put to rest from the outset. My wife has settled well and the attention and care she receives at Belong Morris Feinmann are outstanding, as are the facilities.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide this lovely feedback, which is valued by all the staff team. We are delighted to hear that your wife is settled and happy and we trust that your experience will continue to be so positive.

An experienced leader, Carolyn brings with her six years of Belong management expertise, including the last two years as front-of-house manager at the Didsbury Village, since its opening in 2017.
Notably, she was influential in the set-up of both Belong Morris Feinmann and Belong Warrington, including recruitment and subsequent training and mentoring of colleagues, drawing on her HR and administration knowledge, which she has developed since joining Belong Macclesfield back in 2008.
As a result, Carolyn has acquired strong expertise in dementia care provision and, having worked at numerous Belong sites, has built close relationships with customers and colleagues across the northwest, enabling her to bring a wealth of competence to the general manager role.

Rebecca was promoted to Assistant Support Manager in June 2022. The promotion comes on the back of Rebecca’s sterling contribution as Lead Senior Support Worker.
As the village's assistant support manager, Rebecca is responsible for working alongside the support manager to oversee the household teams at the village, ensuring they are equipped with the required knowledge and experience to meet customer needs.

Responsible for managing Belong Morris Feinmann’s Front of House team and village systems, Angela brings decades of manager-level experience to her role. Her career spans over 11 years in healthcare, running hospital administration teams, as well as working as a Business and HR Manager for an engineering company in Deeside, involved in supporting the senior management and business initiatives alongside the implementation of HR systems.
With a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring everything runs efficiently and smoothly, she is the first port of call for all finance and administration queries in the village, supporting customers and colleagues alike.

Karan Shingler, village nurse manager at Belong Morris Feinmann, works tirelessly to care for customers and treats them and their families with the highest levels of compassion, sensitivity and respect.
In March 2019, Karan beat off competition from around the country to win the ‘Palliative Care/End of Life’ at the national finals of the Great British Care Awards. The judges said that Karan, of Hyde, Greater Manchester, deserved to win the award for her passion, professionalism and drive, particularly in helping her team achieve national ‘Six Steps’ accreditation for its end-of-life care strategy. She was also praised for her motivating and inspiring leadership style, constantly striving to improve standards of care for those on end-of-life pathways.

Angela brings a wealth of networking and business experience as well as passion, creativity and enthusiasm to her role, and is instrumental to the organisation of the village’s programme of events and activities. She is also responsible for running the Experience Days: a service that enables people to join in village activities on a ‘day’ basis, with support for those who need it. Angela's role also involves networking with key stakeholders in the village and organising fundraising events; she is a key member of the village team. Previously, she worked as a Personal Stylist at John Lewis, building a reputation amongst her client group. In addition to this, Angela ran her own vintage clothing shop in Cheadle, and an online business, supplying designer second-hand clothing.
