This review is long overdue, but we want to thank Belong Newcastle-under-Lyme for the truly exceptional end-of-life care they gave our dad. He spent a year there in 2025, unable to walk and living with dementia, and the kindness shown to him - and to us - was amazing.
In those final days at Friaswood, we felt completely held and supported. We genuinely felt we belonged there alongside Dad. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the staff's compassion and proactive care continued right through Dad's last moments and beyond.

Losing a family member is always painful, but the way the team guided us through that time was exceptional, and we will always be grateful.

I have been living at Belong Morris Feinmnann for 9 years in a 2 bedroom apartment and living independently but with the possibility of using all the amenities in the Village. At the moment I can cater for myself. There care I see being given to the less fortunate is extremely wonderful.

My husband has been at Belong Wigan for 6 1/2 years and sadly passed away this month. The home have been outstandingly supportive and caring towards my husband and the family during these difficult times and the love shown from the whole staff team has been exemplary.

My husband did a farewell pass at the home on his final travel to the cemetery and we were greeted by residents, friends and staff to say their goodbyes to Bill. Thank you for such a lovely farewell, it was emotional and pleasing to see the love they had for him.

Overall Experience
The team continue to look after my mother incredibly well. As her condition deteriorates, they adjust and adapt the support to the needs as they evolve.
While the practice support is great, it is the concern and compassion shown by the team that really stands out. They genuinely care for the welfare and wellbeing of the clients.

She has complex needs and the staff are well trained and understand how to do this. She is safe and well there.

Overall Experience
I regularly visit my friend. Carol in the appartments and another Carol in the other side. The staff this week as always, were friendly and helpful. I came at a time of a staff member was awarded a monthly nomination and all the staff seemed very happy.

Whenever I visit there is a lovely caring atmosphere.

Mum has lived in an apartment at Belong since 2023, when Dad went into Oak household. All the staff, from every department: hygiene/cleaning, maintenance, kitchen & bistro, reception, carers, nurses, administrators and management have always been magnificent - every day I'm there (quite often!) I see this family of workers go far beyond the call of duty. Sadly, Dad died soon after moving in. Last month, Mum's sister was over from the States, staying a couple of nights in the Autumn (guest) suite. She had worryingly swollen legs after her long journey - one of the nursing managers checked her over, taking blood pressure etc. and was able to reassure her what to do. More recently, mum's health has deteriorated significantly. After an arts & crafts activity in the Venue, one of the carers found some sketches of Mum's and had them framed. They look wonderful, displayed on Mum's wall - she's absolutely delighted! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

My friend has found Belong to be a very caring, compassionate and extremely welcoming place. The day she arrive at Belong she wasn't in a good emotional place due to circumstances at home. Within a few weeks she became much more relaxed and calm and was no longer frightened. All of the staff are excellent and very loving towards the residents. On reflection, I couldn't think of anything better to spend your hard earned money on than your own health, well-being and care at Belong. There needs to be more places like Belong.

Mum moved into Belong in February from another Residential care setting. So far the care she has received from the team on Juniper has been amazing. She has settled in much more quickly than we expected and the referrals to all of the different care agencies have been really efficient. As a result we are confident that her needs both in terms of her day to day care and her medications are being well managed.

My wife was diagnosed with Alzheimers and she has the additional issue of being blind it seemed to us she had given up on life until we brought her to Belong. The difference has been nothing short of miraculous. Belong has given my wife her life back and she loves coming in it has also given me my wife back and I thank you as do my daughters

What an amazing place Belong Warrington is!
Mum has been a tenant for a few years now and Dad has been in a resident on Tetley Household for just over 12 months. The staff are second to none and are always looking out for Mum, particularly since Dad had to move out of their apartment . Dad has been receiving the very best care - the care he deserves - on the household.
Last weekend Mum had a fall, which resulted in paramedics being called and some time in hospital. Without exception, the staff on duty at the time - including regular staff and the Belong at Home carer who regularly supports Mum, - acted with care, compassion and professionalism towards family members as well as Mum.
When it was time for Mum to be discharged, all the stops were pulled out to accommodate her for respite care on Whitley Household, adjacent to where Dad is. Within 24 hours, he'd been taken to spend some time with her.

I can't begin to express the gratitude I feel that Mum and Dad found Belong.

Our mother was a resident at Belong Morris Feinmann for two years until she sadly passed away in March 2026. Throughout her time there, she received exceptional care, affection and support.
Every member of staff treated her with dignity, respect and genuine kindness. Mum was colourful and enthusiastic, and rather than simply accommodating her individuality, the staff embraced it and clearly cared for her as an individual . It was evident that they knew her well and genuinely enjoyed her company.
Mum took part in a wide range of activities and was encouraged to remain engaged and involved in the life of the home. This contributed greatly to her quality of life and happiness.

As a family, we will always be grateful for the love, respect and outstanding care shown to Mum during her final years. Belong Morris Feinmann gave her a safe, caring and enriching environment, and we cannot thank Carolyn, Olive team and all the staff enough for everything they did.

My mother spent nearly 2 years here. We were under a lot of pressure, moving her up here, and caring for my newly disabled sister. It was quite something. But Belong helped enormously. She had stayed in a care home before, where she was not happy, so we were worried about moving her, especially since her dementia was progressing more rapidly than we'd expected.
She settled in Tetley household. It was almost like being at home. They cared for her like she was one of their own, until she passed away last October. Dementia is a terrible thing, for the family and of course for her, but she spent her last months in peace and comfort.

Overall Experience
Dad joined Belong for two weeks respite care with a view to staying on a permanent basis. The stay was organised very quickly at my request after a successful visit and show round and a visit to Dad at his home.
All the staff have worked hard to help him settle in quickly and feel at home. He has been mixing well with other residents and Jane has encouraged him to join in the daily social events.

We have been impressed with the care and compassion shown to Dad and to us as family members.

My father in law has been with Belong for over a year. We have found the staff to be genuine , caring, and full of integrity. He is well cared for and staff know him well. I
It hard going into residential care from being in own home but this was made easier because we feel he is well looked after. It has felt like a family and we as a family are made to feel welcome.

All praise to the staff from the cafe , reception , cleaning, activity staff, hairdresser.and Household care always are giving exceptional service. Thank you Barry for being approachable and present . Please pass pn how prid we are for the job you do.

My husband had a weeks respite here and I can't praise enough.From the pristine cleanliness to the warm welcome and professionalism of such a great team. My husband has a terminal complex condition but the staff took this in there stride and showed him respect,compassion and dignity.They made all my family feel welcome and comfortable. Overall Experience
The respite care provided for my wife was carried out by lovely staff throughout, who showed kindness and understanding.
The food, facilities and environment are superb contributing to a welcoming stay.

All the staff; manager, nurses, carers, administrators, gym, cleaners and kitchen are quite exceptional, working well together to create a happy, friendly atmosphere which helps residents feel settled and valued.
