A home for life, a home for living.

A sense of belonging is fundamental to goals at Belong. It wants customers to feel at home in the villages, with all the security, contentment and fulfilment that the word ‘home’ signifies.

A listening organisation

Belong is a values-based organisation, founded on a vision that older people have the right to enjoy the same community belonging and richness of experience that they have always known. Staff take the lead from customers and seek constant feedback on what staff can do better through ‘listening to the experts’ surveys, regular well-being reviews and forums for relatives and customers.

A pioneering approach

20 years of experience as a care operator informs the ambition to offer a radically different alternative to the host of existing care settings. As one of the early pioneers of the ‘household’ model for people with dementia and a drive for innovation and excellence has earned Belong recognition and accolades in the industry, but most importantly from customers.

Not-for-profit

It is a charitable organisation whose first priority will always be to offer a higher quality of life and a higher quality of personal care, regardless of how complex your needs may become.

Caring communities

Belong villages are a place where privacy and community go hand-in-hand, offering intimate and natural settings where you can build meaningful and long-term relationships with other residents, employees and visitors. By opening facilities to the wider community, Belong villages promote diversity and integration, welcoming all age groups, creating a place where children can play, families can unwind and you can receive the support and respect that you deserve.

I cannot thank staff at Belong in Crewe enough for the way in which they have supported my Mum but also the family.
Mum is being treated with respect & dignity. She has settled into the home incredibly well. The staff seem to go out of their way to support her.
The home is set out into smaller households
of up to 12 residents. The staff in the households tend to remain the same. It therefore has more of a family feel to it & i suspect is less overwhelming for new residents.
As a family we have also needed the support of senior Belong staff when dealing with social services. The staff at Belong have been incredibly helpful with this.
Reply from Caroline Anthony, General Manager at Belong CreweThank you for your positive feedback on the support provided at Belong Crewe. We do our best to understand every customer and it is a pleasure to have your mum living with us. We'll make sure we pass on your feedback to the village team.

I can't recommend this care home highly enough.
My Dad just loves the daily activities and trips out in the mini bus that make his life enjoyable at 98 years.
He is allowed to maintain his independence while getting the care that he now needs.
He particularly likes going to The Bistro every day for
his lunch which is a lovely social event with nutritious delicious food.

Our sister came into Belong wigan in October 2025. She has Alzheimers and previously lived in Leeds with live in care. We find she is very well cared for in Willow house and the staff are very caring. It is good that we can come and take her out or eat as a family in the Bistro. It is a very clean environment
and we think we made the right choice in choosing Belong Wigan.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care and pleasure Sue and George, carers, provide for my wife, who has Alzheimers. I was at the end of my tether when somebody told me of Belong in Newcastle, less than 10 minutes from our home. It has been a life saver to know she's safe and it gives me a much valued
break.

I cannot say anything bad about this place , I lost my mum before Xmas after a 6 week stay in hospital , my dad was also admitted to hospital 4 weeks after my mum was , there was no way my dad could go back to their marital home , he'd broken his hip and we nearly lost him too , but he pulled through
, I enquired at Belong and from the minute we viewed the place to my dad being accepted for a room on Pooldam Household the whole experience went smoothly , the staff from management to domestics and everyone in between has really made it so much easier for us as a family to sleep at night knowing that my dad is going to be well and truly cared for , I can't recommend this place enough

Mum has been in Elm Household for 3 years this month and we cannot fault anything or anyone at Belong. She has Alzheimers and her care has been outstanding. The home is so warm and welcoming from the reception to the households. The staff are amazing with nothing being too much trouble. Mum is so
happy and content here. She enjoys the activities and outings very much and her mind is kept active. We cannot recommend Belong enough.

From the first time I set foot in the building I was impressed by the friendliness and wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. I was even more impressed to learn about the philosophy and ethos of the Village in conversation with the Front of House Manager and the General Manager. I had total confidence in leaving
my wife here for respite care.
My wife quickly settled in, and was happy and relaxed when a friend visited and when I returned from my 'respite'. Jo, the in-house hairdresser, worked magic - "we've got Mum back" said our children.
As my wife's main carer, I really appreciated the support which all of the staff also offered to me. It counts a lot. Thank you.

My sister was fighting a brain tumour for the past 2 years. Unfortunately, she passed away last week. She was looked after by Belong Cunningham House Team in her last three weeks. They did an amazing job. We visited her every day and the team was exceptional day in day out. Thank for making it so easy
for us all in such difficult time. I would also like to say massive thank you to Clare who was very instrumental from welcoming my sister to Belong; to making all the process extremely smooth for all of us until the end.
All the best.

My mother in law sadly passed away December 2025 after being in Belong Warrington for nearly 2 years I was very happy when we got a place for her. She had been under the Care at Home team - getting daily visits ie taking her for walks in the hallways - singing with her- showing her, her photos -
supervising her making a drink - playing dominoes etc. The staff and Nicky their Manager were excellent with her. She looked forward to their visits. It seemed the natural thing to do when she needed more help to go into residential care with Belong at Warrington. When visiting her we take her into the Bistro for lunch where we still saw the staff from Care at Home team. The staff on Forshaws made her very welcome, we were very happy with the care she received. She settled in and enjoyed being with the lovely group of ladies in there. She went to the hairdressing salon every 2 weeks to have her hair done. The staff have been a huge support to us at this sad time Thank you for everything

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My dad became a resident of Belong Morris Feinmann when his dementia became too advanced to cope at home, and my mum followed him in and stayed there until she died. They were cared for there for three years in total. From the first day to the last I have nothing but positive things to say about how
they were looked after and about our dealings with every single member of the team. The genuine affection, as well as care, that every single member of the team showed them both was lovely to see. My sister and I felt 100% confident that they were being looked after as well as they possibly could and I can't exaggerate how much warmth and genuine affection they received, as well as the care that they needed. And the overwhelming majority of staff who were still there after 3 years was notable; I guess that finding and then retaining people who genuinely care is one of BMF's greatest strengths.
I'm very happy to recommend them without hesitation; my parents simply could not have been better cared for

My Dad came to Belong in the last year of his life, it brought him closer to family and gave us precious time at the end.
He made some wonderful connections with the staff on Olive and with the wider team.
The end of life care was of a 'gold standard' led by a team of compassionate individuals who

Throughout my time interacting with staff and management, I was always listened to and treated with kindness and respect.

My auntie had been on one of the households until she passed away with dignity, love and care.
So when mum needed 24 hour care. There was nowhere else I would consider for her.
I wanted for mum what her sister had previously.
When we visit all the staff are friendly and caring. It feels like home
from home. Everywhere is clean & tidy and lots of activities and events to keep everyone entertained. They even have their own mini bus now for trips out. In my opinion there is nowhere better.

Dad is very happy at Belong, however, the cost of the facility seems excessive compared to others, however, we feel very safe leaving dad at Belong and that is something money cannot buy.
Since the households no longer provide cooking locally and it comes up from the main kitchen, there has been a
considerable drop in the quality of the food that dad has stated many times and I would be much happier if the food was prepared, cooked and served locally by the households. The food is sometimes cool to eat as it has been standing around under heater trolly and not served hot from the oven/hob.
There seems to be a lot of staff changeover, especially within the households which is not ideal and does impact on the quality of care provided.

As a family we didn't get a map of his dementia journey ahead but the team have supported Dad better than we could have hoped for, emotionally & physically inc adapting
day to day living with new symptoms & challenges as they appear.
We started with home visits, increasing as his needs determined. Then with advice & support of a dementia nurse began to understand some of the journey ahead & the need to look at the next step of supported living. After researching a number of care providers led us to Belong Morris Feinmann.
A huge thank you to all the Belong team members on this journey that have also supported us as a family..

No complaints about Belong care home 10/10 for staff. Only disappointment is that the govt has done nothing to improve/change the financial support for residents and their families.
