A home for life, a home for living.

A sense of belonging is fundamental to goals at Belong. It wants customers to feel at home in the villages, with all the security, contentment and fulfilment that the word ‘home’ signifies.

A listening organisation

Belong is a values-based organisation, founded on a vision that older people have the right to enjoy the same community belonging and richness of experience that they have always known. Staff take the lead from customers and seek constant feedback on what staff can do better through ‘listening to the experts’ surveys, regular well-being reviews and forums for relatives and customers.

A pioneering approach

20 years of experience as a care operator informs the ambition to offer a radically different alternative to the host of existing care settings. As one of the early pioneers of the ‘household’ model for people with dementia and a drive for innovation and excellence has earned Belong recognition and accolades in the industry, but most importantly from customers.

Not-for-profit

It is a charitable organisation whose first priority will always be to offer a higher quality of life and a higher quality of personal care, regardless of how complex your needs may become.

Caring communities

Belong villages are a place where privacy and community go hand-in-hand, offering intimate and natural settings where you can build meaningful and long-term relationships with other residents, employees and visitors. By opening facilities to the wider community, Belong villages promote diversity and integration, welcoming all age groups, creating a place where children can play, families can unwind and you can receive the support and respect that you deserve.

Our Mum recently passed away after almost 9 years as a resident of Belong Wigan. She has always been treated with such wonderful care and compassion by all the staff, through all the stages of dementia. We cannot praise everyone at Belong highly enough they are amazing not only extremely professional
at their job, but they go above and beyond everyday for all the residents, the households feel like one big family.
The staff and management have been so supportive to us as a family over the years , never more so than during Mums final few days, We will never forget their kindness it meant so much to us.
I recommend Belong to anyone looking for a care home for a family member, they are the best of the best. Thank you again for everything.

My mum became a resident at Belong Chester 3 weeks ago and I can honestly say, I am delighted. She is so happy here and seems very relaxed after a stressful few months at home. The staff are really friendly and within days, they knew my mum so well. The 'Household' is like a family. I feel quite emotional
as this has been a game changer for both my mum and for me - Thank you so much!
Reply from Caroline Ray, General Manager at Belong ChesterThank you so much for this lovely review! It's a pleasure to have your mum staying with us at Belong Chester. This may not be easy to read but it is so important that when a resident dies the family are supported and cared for ,if this is what they'd like.
My mother-in-law died in her sleep so we weren't there to say goodbye but we came to Belong on hearing this sad news. And we were looked after so well.
One member of staff told us about the two days since we'd seen her, made us mugs of tea and waited with us until the funeral director came. We felt held and comforted and I want to thank Belong for this.
Reply from Josephine Mollison, General Manager at Belong Newcastle-under-LymeThank you so much for taking the time to share such moving feedback. It was a privilege to support your mother-in-law, and we are pleased to know that we were able to provide some comfort and support during such a difficult time for your family. Your kind words will mean a great deal to our village team, and I will ensure that your comments are shared with everyone involved in her care. My Mum was only with you for 3 Weeks but the level of care recieved surpassed all of our expectations. She was extremely happy and well looked after as were we. The front of house team were always very helpful and accommodating with one member in particular standing out with their kindness and empathy
and the team in Ironmarket were so kind and caring and my Mum struck up a real friendship with one of the carers in particular who I must say made the whole experience a lot easier for us all. I would strongly recommend here for anyone as it made our last 3 weeks comfortable and we cannot thank you all enough. Many thanks once again and Take Care.

My mother receives excellent care at the Belong, all the staff are incredibly kind and treat Mum with respect and dignity. Criticisms - the policy of never moving residents means that Mum has had to put up with a man wandering into her room which really upset her, and currently there is a lady who constantly
shrieks. The household often smells which Mum doesn't notice but we do. However, the most important thing is the attitude of the staff. Save as above, any concerns we have are addressed immediately. The staff know us as well as knowing Mum. Their treatment of Mum could not be improved.
Reply from Carolyn Ball, General Manager at Belong Morris FeinmannThank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are delighted that you feel your mother receives excellent care and that our team consistently treats her with the respect, dignity, and kindness she deserves. It is especially rewarding to know that the staff have built such positive relationships with both your mother and your family, and that any concerns you raise are addressed promptly. We also appreciate your honest feedback regarding the challenges you have experienced. Your comments have been noted and will be shared with the relevant teams and we would invite you to discuss this with us further at any time. Thank you again for your kind words about our colleagues.

My Mother in. Law spent her last 2 years of her life in Forshaws's household in Belong in Warrington. She went there after the lovely ladies of Belong at Home visited her in her own home. When she then transferred to Belong Warrington the staff in Forshaws carried on with the same standard of care she
had received at home. She liked going to see them in the Hairdressers regularly and the staff on Forshaws used to do her nails with the same pretty colour she used to do herself. They made sure she looked lovely everyday just as she used to at home. The Staff always made us very welcome from Barry the Manager to Gail on Reception through to the Julie in the Bistro and Mel, Alison, June etc on Forshaws. We were encouraged to treat it as Mother in laws home by being able to make her and ourselves a drink and have a snack whilst we were there. The bedrooms are lovely very light and airy with nice fitted furniture and ensuite facilities. The care they gave to my mother in law was excellent

I needed Respite for my husband, due to an eye operation & possibly permanence afterwards. Nowhere came near to the service offered by Belong.
My husband used to go 'walkabout' and could not be kept in. Social Services also tried to find Respite and some homes refused to have him. Belong tackled
this differently, and they take him out for walks when fine. They also moved him downstairs to enable him to walk in the enclosed garden.
Now he comes and waves me off when I leave , surprisingly, and he's never asked me to take him home.
He has a very good rapport with all staff in his household.
I like the fact that there are several separate households as it feels far more homely. I have not found this anywhere else. The Residents are given a limited choice of food, which is cooked within the household.
I cannot speak too highly of the staff, who also make visitors very welcome.
I have never once regretted him staying in Belong and do not feel that I have made the wrong choice.

We unfortunately had to move my mum into Belong Morris Feinmann, due to her Alzheimer's diagnosis. We have seen a massive shift in her happiness and well being. The family are so grateful to all the staff, from the night care team, her one to ones.. to the chefs. I like that there's always something
going on, whether it's a baby group with singing, local walks or in-house music events. It's a lovely, welcoming environment and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a happy, caring place for their loved ones.

The care home looked after my husband, who had mixed dementia, during the last 2 months of his life.
The care given by the staff was, without exception, respectful, professional and full of love!
Prior to his full time care, my husband had attended the Experience Days for 3 days a week.
He loved
going and the staff brought a sense of joy to his day. In both environments, I as his wife, was equally supported by the staff in the challenges of caring for someone with dementia.

My Mother was in Belong for over 8 years, she passed away in April.
When choosing a care home the only one we visited was belong as it had everything we needed and had a good feel about it, Small households, various seating areas in the households and the open kitchen made for an enviroment that residents
and staff could interact together or for privacy residents could stay in their room.

Mums initially needed care due to mobility issues and used most of the homes facilities from the hair dresser to the gym and PT sessions.
The staff were always very caring, however in the last few weeks of Mums life we realised just how caring they were, many of the staff treated Mum like she could have been their mother, which was very comforting.
Thank You Belong for all of the care given to Mum over the years she lived with you

Mum has been at Belong Morris Feinmann for almost two years and we have felt lucky the whole time. I have never seen a care home that comes close to what we have at Morris Feinmann. Mum lives on Olive Household, where she is so loved and understood and cared for and where the staff make me feel like
part of the family whenever I come to see her. The activites that take place in the Venue every week day are just wonderful. Mum goes to choir, chair yoga, music therapy and many more activities every day. She goes to a gym appointment every week (which is more than I manage!) And all within the safe space of a care home which has removed so much stress and worry from us and replaced it with a certainty that our beloved mum is being looked after beautifully. Thank you to all involved - I honestly can't imagine her living anywhere better.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My mum was a resident at Belong for 3 years until she died in February 2026. During each stage of her dementia progression, the care team were able to adapt and meet her needs: helping her to settle in despite her initial confusion, keeping her occupied, happy and safe when she was mobile and then
ensuring dignity, health and security as she became dependent on staff for every aspect of her care. I was frequently impressed with the skill of the staff team in their approaches with mum and other residents and their ability to ensure a calm, caring, respectful atmosphere.
It can be a huge worry entrusting others to care for a loved parent but I was reassured on all visits that mum was being cared for to a high standard with affection and care shown to her by Chanel and the wonderful staff team on Cypress. The team were also supportive to family members with good communication around all relevant issues.
Thank you so much
