Care Homes Owned by Belong Ltd in Cheshire

After a long stay in hospital, Mum went into respite care at Belong. As a family we have found the care to be outstanding. The staff made Mum feel safe, cared for and treated her with the utmost respect and dignity throughout her stay. We are so grateful for the kindness, compassion, and professionalism shown by everyone. Thank you for making Such a difficult time much easier for mum and our family.

Mum has lived in an apartment at Belong since 2023, when Dad went into Oak household. All the staff, from every department: hygiene/cleaning, maintenance, kitchen & bistro, reception, carers, nurses, administrators and management have always been magnificent - every day I'm there (quite often!) I see this family of workers go far beyond the call of duty. Sadly, Dad died soon after moving in. Last month, Mum's sister was over from the States, staying a couple of nights in the Autumn (guest) suite. She had worryingly swollen legs after her long journey - one of the nursing managers checked her over, taking blood pressure etc. and was able to reassure her what to do. More recently, mum's health has deteriorated significantly. After an arts & crafts activity in the Venue, one of the carers found some sketches of Mum's and had them framed. They look wonderful, displayed on Mum's wall - she's absolutely delighted! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Have been very happy with the home, the staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful. The only thing I can fault is the laundry, but a small price to pay!

My mum became a resident at Belong Chester 3 weeks ago and I can honestly say, I am delighted. She is so happy here and seems very relaxed after a stressful few months at home. The staff are really friendly and within days, they knew my mum so well. The 'Household' is like a family. I feel quite emotional as this has been a game changer for both my mum and for me - Thank you so much!

My Mother in. Law spent her last 2 years of her life in Forshaws's household in Belong in Warrington. She went there after the lovely ladies of Belong at Home visited her in her own home. When she then transferred to Belong Warrington the staff in Forshaws carried on with the same standard of care she had received at home. She liked going to see them in the Hairdressers regularly and the staff on Forshaws used to do her nails with the same pretty colour she used to do herself. They made sure she looked lovely everyday just as she used to at home. The Staff always made us very welcome from Barry the Manager to Gail on Reception through to the Julie in the Bistro and Mel, Alison, June etc on Forshaws. We were encouraged to treat it as Mother in laws home by being able to make her and ourselves a drink and have a snack whilst we were there. The bedrooms are lovely very light and airy with nice fitted furniture and ensuite facilities. The care they gave to my mother in law was excellent

I have never once regretted him staying in Belong and do not feel that I have made the wrong choice.

He loved going and the staff brought a sense of joy to his day. In both environments, I as his wife, was equally supported by the staff in the challenges of caring for someone with dementia.

After my father falling very ill we needed emergency respite for mum management went above and beyond to help me. Mum stayed for 4 days and was so settled and happy which relieved us massively of worry for her can't thank every staff member enough!! Best place ever.

Was brilliant. Room very nice, food excellent, staff excellent.

The entire staff in Handbridge House care for Dad ( who has various needs) with great compassion dedication and expertise . My Sister and I are entirely satisfied with the care Dad receives in all respects . I particularly like the "House" concept whereby residents staff and relatives feel part of a homely atmosphere .

I cannot rate highly enough the love & care that has been shown to my parents during their time at Belong. It truly feels like one big family. The way everyone is treated with respect, dignity and warmth is truly heartwarming. The facilities available are fantastic from the great food in the bistro, the onsite hairdressers and gym. The main reason why I rate this establishment so highly is the wonderful staff they really are the definition of what " Human Kindness" is. Thank you all.

If someone asked me what human kindness looked like, I would say they looked like the wonderful care and nursing staff at Belong Macclesfield.

She has vascular dementia and is very restless at night, not sleeping well. One of the things I love about Belong is the layout, with the lounge area being directly outside of her room. So if she's up in the night, she can just come and sit in the lounge and have a cup of tea and be cared for. It's so homely, and the staff and residents are like one big family. The staff are also very caring and compassionate towards me. My mother has been ill which has on occasion been upsetting for me, but the staff have been simply wonderful. I would highly recommend this home to anyone, especially those with more advanced dementia.

Over the past 9 months that Grandad has been a resident in Tetley, the care he has recieved has been excellent. He is treated with kindness and compassion and this extends to any relatives who visit also.
