Overall Experience
I am satisfied with my sister's care.
The staff are very caring and attentive and listen to my concerns.
The building is a bit institutional and there is limited outdoor space which is less than ideal.
The staff work hard to make the best they can of the building.

I feel my sister is well cared for and safe.

Never judge a book by its cover comes to mind when talking about Oakland House nursing home. Our brother has been in the care of Oakland for the past 17mths, the treatment and care he has been given by the staff on the Willow Unit especially two staff who have gone above and beyond I can only rate as excellent. Our brother has very complex care needs, he has been hospitalized twice with aspirational pneumonia and been given weeks to live, but under the care of the staff is still with us today.

The facilities of the home are good, his room is always immaculately clean matter no when we visit, the staff are extremely friendly and patient focus, the food must be good because he never refuses it or complains. The home is now under new management the manager, our dealings with her have given us great faith in her qualities and leadership. We would like to give massive thanks to all the staff for their support and care, giving us as a family great peace of mind.
