Overall the care given is of a good standard. I must stress though the weekend does require more staff. No sign of management at the weekend and very hard to get hold of anyone via telephone which is not ideal. The staff are helpful and give a good experience for the residents including entertainment
to engage them however more activities to engage the mind are needed! Clean facilities and food are of a good standard.

My mum moved to Arden Court three months ago after a seven week stay in hospital. She has vascular dementia and needs quite a lot of assistance daily. The staff are great, the food is good and there are daily activities for the residents to attend. Overall, good care, definitely recommend this home.

Staff are very friendly, professional and very caring. Look after the residents with all their hearts. Always kept spotless and activities fantastic when residents are able to attend. Management first class, cannot do enough as all nursing staff as well.

I have a relative being cared for at Arden Court, and I have experienced nothing but kindness to all the residents there. The way they speak and care for the residents is extremely warmhearted and compassionate. Nothing is ever too much for the staff. Management is very supportive and friendly and shows
a real genuine devotion not just to her job but to the residents and all of her staff members. I would recommend Arden Court to any person needing to be cared for.

From day one, the staff are all very nice, polite, and approachable. Nothing is too much trouble for them. My gran is always clean and well cared for. From walking in the door to visiting in my gran's room, it is clean and clutter free and smells nice throughout.

My mother-in-law has been a resident of Arden Court since March 2022. We could not be more pleased with the care provided to her. All the staff are helpful and friendly. She has a lovely room overlooking the gardens and has really settled into her new home. She is looked after really well and enjoys
the activities provided. She especially loves her trips out to church or a coffee and this really makes her happy.

We chose Arden Court following a discussion with the manager who was really helpful from the start and reserved a lovely room with a garden view for my mum. During my mum's stay at Arden Court, we have been really pleased with the quality of care. Also, staff go the extra mile to make Arden Court a
home from home. They take my mum out and also take her to church. The staff have a common sense and helpful approach which is refreshing. Whenever we call or ask for anything, nothing is too much trouble.

I’ve been visiting my friend at Arden Court since 2021; the home has been strict regarding covid testing and the use of PPE during visits, which showed good management and enhanced residents' safety. Both the management and staff members have been very helpful in dealing with all our requests. Overall,

My mum has only been at Arden Court for a few weeks, I only wish she came here sooner. All the staff are wonderful, very friendly and approachable. Her room is always clean and tidy, the food smells and looks lovely. Just like you would at home. A big thank you from myself and family to the management

Mum was transferred to Arden Court from hospital and the staff there then took us through how she would be cared for. Mum was in a room overlooking the garden which was really nice with the garden view. The deputy manager/nurse talked through Mum's discharge letter which was end-of-life and the end-of-life
coordinator also discussed Mum's care with us. The care given to her was excellent and the staff were there for both Mum and us when we needed them. The manager has a great team who work together really well and show respect to residents and families.

Mum moved into Arden in April 2021. She appears to be settled, the staff are very helpful and caring. Mum is a very quiet person who does not socialise much, the staff have encouraged her to join other residents in the lounge which is good.

Alina Popescu

Job Title: General Manager Joined: 2021

I embarked on my nursing career following my graduation from Victor Babes University of Medicine in Romania. In 2015, I began my journey in nursing in Northern Ireland.


With a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of care for the elderly, I focused my efforts on general nursing care. In 2021, I reached a milestone by taking on the role of Clinical Lead Nurse. I continued in this position until 2024 when I accepted a new professional challenge by becoming the Home Manager at Arden Court.


My future ambition is to elevate the standards of care, foster a culture of quality, and drive change within the healthcare system.
