My relative is very well cared for at Barton Brook. He is settled and looks well. Staff very patient with him when he nags them about going home. Family are at ease because we see and know he is OK. Thanks to all the staff for all their hard work.

My mums care over the last five years has been excellent. The staff brilliant, approachable and where possible solve any problems that we have had.

Obviously, the cost is a big factor. Everybody would like one to one care but not possible because of the cost. Barton Brook have looked after my mum for five years. There have been issues but every one has been solved to everybody's satisfaction.

All the staff are extremely helpful. They are very approachable if you need to know anything and problems dealt with quickly. There are activities each day and residents are encouraged to join in but are left alone if they don't wish to. Very satisfied with the level of care.

My father stayed here for 1 week on a respite placement. He has stayed at other homes in the past.

The pre-admission home visit was speedy and thorough - so his admission was smooth and carers knew exactly his needs and routine. He had a happy stay and I really felt staff understood him and cared deeply about the residents and their work.

As a visitor, I am made welcome, if I need to discuss anything it is done straight away. My only observation is more staff are required to enable staff to interact more with residents as their duties hinder this.

On the whole, I find the care very good. However, where it falls down is with regards to the outside space, ie the garden. Although the residents in Moss have problems they surely deserve a nice garden to walk in and sit out during the nice weather.

The staff themselves try very hard to look after everyone I visit every day and have always found them very helpful. I know the activities coordinator works hard to arrange events but feel more occupational therapy should be arranged.
