Barton Brook Care Home

Since my Auntie has come to live in Brindley House she has been looked after so much. There is helpful staff who always are there to help her when she needs it. I can't thank the staff enough for all they have done and continue to do.

Since my mother has bewgan staying at Brindley House in Barton Brook, I have felt she has been very safe, very well looked after and now has a better social life than ever. I can't thank the the team enough for the care they have given my mother.

I am overjoyed with the care my sister is receiving in Brindley House. The Manager and her team have made a fantastic difference to my sister's life. My sister has a brain tumour and prior to coming to Barton Brook, she had no social life. She spent hours alone and had several falls a day. It has been many years since I have seen my little sister so happy and I can't thank the staff enough.

St Monton House staff at Barton Brook are too good to be true. Would stay here myself.

My father needed to go in for respite for two weeks. His care was wonderful. The staff at Barton Brook were wonderful with him and he was very happy while he was there.

The staff at Brindley House work extremely hard to ensure the safety and care of the residents is good. The residents are treated with dignity at all times. The quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired and there are not enough activities taking place for residents. Sometimes there is a lack of essential items i.e. the right size pads which causes distress to my mother.

Under extremely difficult circumstances my mother was treated with dignity and respect during her final days, which meant so much to myself and family. All the staff from Dr's to domestics were extremely caring and I cannot thank them enough.

My uncle really loves Monton House in Barton Brook. The staff are all friendly and helpful and he really enjoys the meals. When I visit the staff always make me feel really welcome and it is always a pleasure to be here.

The food and general hygiene standards are very good and it feels welcoming. I have only ever seen residents treated with care and respect and would not hesitate to recommend the home to others.

The care my dad received was brilliant he came on leaps and bounds, he only needed two weeks of rehabilitation with the physio and good food to get back on his feet. He would have liked to stay but because he's come on so well he's able to go home. Thanks for the care he received.

I have just been to the summer fair which demonstrated the energy they have with gazebos, cake stalls, tombolas, music and laughter. All this in a week when the residents had also had a day out at a local pub function.

I have been on intermediate care on Irwell House and was treated so well. Every member of staff was so helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

When I visit my Mum on Montonhouse at Barton Brook, I am always given a warm welcome by the staff. I am always updated about my Mum by the Manager. She and her team are a lovely bunch of staff. I know my Mum is always looked after, I have no doubts. Never worry as I know Mum is happy living there. Keep up the fantastic work you all do.

Everybody is helpful and tries very hard to assist all residents. Only criticism is that there could be more staff but otherwise it's excellent.

Having visited many care homes in the area it became obvious at the first visit that this was to be my choice. The staff are very caring and professional, provide great care with the resident's individual needs.

In our experience, all staff are extremely caring. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone is sensitive and sympathetic to my father's needs. I cannot praise them enough.
