Kenyon Lodge care home provides professional care to residents in an environment which offers family members peace of mind about the care their loved ones are receiving.

The home has 30 rooms located on the ground floor and another 30 rooms on the 1st floor, all single occupancy with en-suite facilities. There are also private gardens with a patio area for residents to enjoy.

Kenyon Lodge provides nursing and residential care for residents who are in their senior years or have a physical disability.

The home has been victorious across multiple areas at the Great British Care Awards, winning the Social Care Covid Hero Award in November 2021 and March 2022, as well as being the regional winner for the Registered Manager in November 2021.

I am so happy with the home and staff. They fulfil my Aunty's needs. They listen to me. The staff are friendly and approachable. The Manager of the home is fantastic. He is approachable, welcoming and has turned the home 100% around. I cannot express how pleased I am with Kenyon Lodge.

My Mum has been in Kenyon Lodge for a year and is very happy here. She is treated by the staff as a person. She is mobile with a frame. All the staff are very polite and very helpful, will help in any way they can. Her bedroom is very clean and airy. I cannot fault them in any way.

My aunt has been at Kenyon Lodge for over two years now. She seems very happy and the carers are very nice. She always looks clean and tidy when we visit. My aunt has settled in quite well and is always happy when we see her. The carers are always polite and very caring.

My brother has been here a while now and I feel sometimes there isn't enough staff to cater for his needs. After saying that, he always seems happy enough and his wife visits him often.

We were so pleased with the overall care of my mum. The care home staff and facilities were excellent. We were so happy that my mum was in a good place and I was able to relax and enjoy my respite knowing my mum was well cared for. Will definitely use Kenyon Lodge again for respite.

The carers are good. The home itself is really in need of refurbishing - find the lounge is too small to get patients in and out (fire hazard). Need to have some chairs (stacking) for visitors. Activities need stepping up - more interaction with patients.

The home has been falling in standards for the last 6 months. There appears to be a problem with having enough staff to take proper care of the residents and often when visiting after work, I can be stood outside waiting to get into the building for 10 minutes. There needs to be a huge improvement before

I would like to thank the staff for all that they do for my stepmother, they go out of their way to see her and when she went into hospital, they didn't leave her until she was on a ward. I went to see her while she was in hospital and they were so good with her, a male carer was there and when she
sees him her face lights up. I visited her today and he came to see her even though he was working elsewhere, he held her hand and this was nice to see.
