Kenyon Lodge

I recently lost my husband on the 9th of July. He had been a resident for over two years. I found the home a very friendly place and I visited every day for hours and always felt welcome with the staff and management, I count them as friends. About a year ago as a family we decided we wanted him to spend the rest of his life and end with these friends. We made a very wise choice. It was his home and he was with friends to the end. Thanks to the staff for their care and support through my mum's stay at Kenyon Lodge.

All staff are very kind, caring and very understanding and supported at all times day and night.

My dad was cared for from June 2017 until he passed away on 17th May 2019. During that time, he was given the best care I could have wished for. On the day he passed away, the staff took excellent care of him, treating his body with the utmost respect. The staff were always good and humorous and were wonderful with all the residents I saw them deal with.

My Mum is very happy here. She has been here for 6 years and there has been a lot of change, but staff stay happy with my Mum. They will always do what they can for her.

Just had a tour of the upstairs to be shown where my auntie is going to be moved. It's absolutely fantastic. What a beautiful, homely, clean place. I couldn't be happier. The manager is fantastic and nothing is too much trouble with everything answered.

Had a tour of the refurbished rooms. I am very impressed with all the extra touches.

My sister was moved here in June 2018. I am extremely pleased with the care she has received, just had a tour of the new nursing client room upstairs which has been completely refurbished and it looks fantastic.

All the staff are friendly. The management is approachable. My mother loves it at the home. She feels safe and well looked after.

Kenyon Lodge seems to be a caring home and the residents are looked after quite well. The home is warm and pleasant with good staff.

I am so happy with the home and staff. They fulfil my Aunty's needs. They listen to me. The staff are friendly and approachable. The Manager of the home is fantastic. He is approachable, welcoming and has turned the home 100% around. I cannot express how pleased I am with Kenyon Lodge.

My Mum has been in Kenyon Lodge for a year and is very happy here. She is treated by the staff as a person. She is mobile with a frame. All the staff are very polite and very helpful, will help in any way they can. Her bedroom is very clean and airy. I cannot fault them in any way.

Under the new management team, the care home has improved dramatically. It is now the best it has been in all the time my auntie has been residing there. Keep up the good work.
